Dh just on the phone to in-laws, no more news. They're heading down to London tomorrow, so hopefully we'll hear news when they get there and know more. I'm hoping that no news is good news.

Dh now trying to ring his sister. Feel sick.

Ok so here's the news: The doctors still do not know what is causing Eva to have seizures.She is now on medication to prevent seizures by relaxing her brain activity and they are monitoring her. She managed to get some sleep this afternoon as the seizures had prevented her from sleeping.If she gets over this they don't yet know if there will be any lasting effects or whether or not she will continue to have seizures as she gets older. Next week she'll have an MRI scan to look at her brain and check for damage. SIL sounds exhausted and very emotional.

Going now as DH is crying.

Feel crap moaning about trivial stuff when Leaky's BIL & SIL are having such a rough time, but I am supposed to be working as I have SOOOOO much to do but I feel so unmotivated. DH is away and a day with 2DDs has left me too tired to work. That's my excuse anyway - nothing to do with the glass of wine I have had!

I have just organised a family day out for tomorrow as dh has a day off

LEAKY - a friends little boy starting having seizures at 4 months - called infantile seizures - at first they didn;t notice it as it was their first baby and then they started to worry when they realised other babies didn;t have them. He is okay - I'm not sure if it the same thing (i've missed a few threads) or what the future holds for him but all is okay at the moment (on steroids and some gross motor delay) and he is now 9 months. They're not sure what eachday brings but they still have him which is the most important thing.
