I'm here - and I've had 2 glasses of red wine so clearly I am a goner!!

DH is away camping on Dartmoor this w/e so it's just me and the girls here. This is fine as long as I get a good night tonight - N was up last night at 4.30 and then again at 6.15 - blurrgghhh!

Have randomly tried to catch up:
Maveta - that storm sounds scary!
Mammyjo - blurggh to F's night waking. Don't know what to suggest with the bf as feel a bit ambivalent about it now, and want to knock it on the head in the next few months. I stopped bf N at 9 months after she got all fretty and I thought "well if you're going to refuse it, I'd much rather you refused a bottle than me" iyswim. Mind you, she didn't drink much formula in replacement, and has never been a great one for milk
Lesley - Eva Rose is so cute! Hope she is doing okay.
Dippy - sorry, hadn't realised that K was having an operation. Hope she is okay. Feel free to ignore my email about doidy cups for the time being!
Ooogs - I wonder that too about stuff. I am definitely 'done' with babies, but I lack the energy to do anything other than stuff it back up in the loft. A friend I saw this week said she gives one thing away to every person who comes round!
KHIN - I read your other thread and just wanted to say please don't beat yourself up! You have more younger children than anyone else on this thread (if that makes sense!), and what with the house too, I think you're doing an amazing job - it would be a miracle if you didn't feel worn down by it all! Sending {{hugs}}.
IDOC - pleased that DH is back in communication!

Was cross today as I got the door bouncer out and discovered that it will only fit on our bathroom door as all the other walls are too thick. Great if I want to clear the bathroom, but not that much use otherwise! Damn, I remember N spending hours in hers in our old house.

tcmummy · 05/10/2007 21:41

SOL I LOVE YOU!!!!!

That would be FANTASTIC!!

I'll e-mail you my address and of course I'll cover the postage .

Thank you soooooooo much!

Didn't you help someone out with a giraffe not so long ago??

tcmummy · 05/10/2007 21:43

Bramshott:

"I am definitely 'done' with babies, but I lack the energy to do anything other than stuff it back up in the loft. "

You have been watching too much Claire Verity. I'm afraid that kind of behaviour is just not acceptable!

Bramshott · 05/10/2007 21:45

Now shall I have a herbal tea or a lardy hot chocolate to finish off my wild night in?!?

SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 21:46

ooh I'll join you in a lardy hot chocolate. If only we had some cream

PillockInThePumpkin · 05/10/2007 21:47

have you all been here getting trollyed while i've been out earning money?

OP posts:
Bramshott · 05/10/2007 21:47

Katy, I am now seriously pmsl!!!! Our loft is very comfy I'll have you know!

Bramshott · 05/10/2007 21:48

I have been getting trolleyed (on my 2 glasses), and earning money at the same time - such are the delights of working from home!

PillockInThePumpkin · 05/10/2007 21:52

that is so not fair!

OP posts:
Bramshott · 05/10/2007 21:54

Ah, but then there are all the times when I want to do nothing more than roll around the floor grinning at O and people keep phoning me up expecting me to talk coherently about music technology workshops for teenagers!

PillockInThePumpkin · 05/10/2007 21:56

see, i don't do rolling around on the floor with my baby, he'd only puke on me

OP posts:
SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:14

Tried to run you off the road
Are you OK?

SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:16

could it be these?

SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:16

Did you get the reg no? What are the police going to do?

geordiemacmummy · 05/10/2007 22:17

Not heard of them - there are some crazy people out there...

I had to go to the bank - got a £10 for it and I actually had to go anyways so it wasnt too bad.

PillockInThePumpkin · 05/10/2007 22:17

yeah, he was just driving like a twat
there's a 50 limit on the A14 (major trunk road, suffolk's motorway as we have none!)
he decided that I was going too slowly as I was doing 50 (only cos I was stuck behind another car mind!)
I was following another car and we were approaching to overtake a car in nearside, so were in offside. he sat no more than 2ft off my rear buumper. then decided he would try to undertake, but there was the car in nearside that we were about to overtake, so he decided he'd just barge in anyway and force me off the road to avoid him
