I had Skott with me and yes, we got reg. I wasn't going that fast and I guessed he'd do it so I braked and didn't have to leave the road, but I came off at next juunction and he was up the arse of the next car

police can't do much as we didn't see driver clearly and as car is registered and insured in glasgow they can't visit

was it a bank with a horse?

I hate idiots like that
In my experience a large majority of them tend to drive red vans of a major letter and parcel delivery service
with a black and white cat

PillockInThePumpkin · 05/10/2007 22:25

nope, got me there

OP posts:
SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:30

really

P PP PP P with his black and white cat
Early in the morning
Just as day is dawning
He picks up all the something something in his van
etc... if I could remember the words

Bramshott · 05/10/2007 22:30

Poor you - bloody twatty drivers!! Off to bed now (or rather off to wake O up and feed her). Back tomorrow night as DH will still be away! Tomorrow packed with:

  1. N at party 11-1 - hurray!
  2. Going to open day of my friend's new nursery.
  3. Picking up my glasses after month-long saga with bloody optician!
  4. Hopefully not driving to the A3/A303 junction to meet someone I work for to hand over some invitations and beat the postal strike.
  5. Can I really bear to take both N & O to the NCT sale at 2.00? They both need new clothes, but I wouldn't normally consider braving the scrum with two in tow . . .
SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:31

Goodnight all, really going this time!
Bramshott, enjoy your day, sounds busy

Bramshott · 05/10/2007 22:33

"He picks up all the postbags in his van".

Or not as the case may be, if he's on strike this week!

Picket line Pat
Picket line Pat
Picket line Pat with his black and white placard
Early in the morning
Gathered round the burner
With bags and bags of post backing up in his van

Or something!

Actually, I do support them to some extent - I think the post office closures are scandalous. It's just a tad inconvient!

SharpMolarBear · 05/10/2007 22:34

Like the alternative poem!
Yes, either on strike or tailgating

geordiemacmummy · 05/10/2007 22:36

I have to say that all these blardy people striking just annoys me - They are striking cos they want more than a 2.5% pay rise.... did anyone else get a payrise this year??? I didnt.. Did they not know what the pay was BEFORE they took the job???/

Sorry rant over!!!

Bramshott · 05/10/2007 22:45

Ok I am too tired to think so I really am off to bed now! Night all xxxxx

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2007 08:06

Morning everyone!
After boasting that T sleeps through the night he's now started waking up at 5 for a feed, hopefully that means he's having a growth spurt

CaptainDippy · 06/10/2007 08:09

No, it means he needs a steak, fried egg and chips before he goes to bed! NO EYE CONTACT, mind!

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2007 08:19

steak? steak!
If we're eating out of date pasta then so can he!

elkiedee · 06/10/2007 09:40

Hi all, middle of the night here but I've spent an hour or so reading the latest thread. Pillock, can only see the photos on your profile that have been there for ages, not the new ones. That buggy thread turned into a riot.

Steep learning curve travelling with a baby in tow, sort of odd as well because we were last here in San Francisco almost exactly a year ago when I was pregnant but not showing, and I couldn't face eating or drinking a lot of things.

CD, only caught the tail end of your dd's eye op but hope she continues to do well, also good wishes to Eva Rose, Jack and Maveta's dad.

Hoping to go back to a free music festival sponsored by a crazy local billionaire in Golden Gate Park tomorrow. SF tends to have much milder autumm weather than the UK, and it's been pretty nice here today, forecast is good for tomorrow too.

Night/morning all, probably see you on the next or next but one thread at the rate these are going still.

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2007 10:02

Hi elkie, nice to hear from you

Sexonlegs · 06/10/2007 10:16

Pinions · 06/10/2007 10:32

Sexonlegs · 06/10/2007 10:50

SharpMolarBear · 06/10/2007 11:19

What's up Pinions?

Pinions · 06/10/2007 11:23
