kneehighinnappies · 02/10/2007 16:10

L dot thompson773 at ntlworld dot com

bumble75 · 02/10/2007 16:39

Seriously, L wakes up EVERY time I have just caught up and about to post - have employed emergency mobile over the cot tactics to distract her for five minutes!

SMB - great news about the house - congrats

KHIN - at baddies knicking your camera and at no one helping you!

IDOC - happy belated birthday!

Norma - hope E & your dh are better now

And happy 6 months to all the 6 month babies!

L has starting rolling from back to front and is very pleased with herself. Now she just needs to learn how to roll back so she doesn't face plant and start crying!

Right, mobile distraction tactics not working, better dash, hope everyone is well!
x

SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 16:50

Thanks bumble!
Just sorting through cupboards and have found a mini bottle of baileys

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 17:50

Oh my God!!!! Maveta you are going to kill me, I HAVE GOT LED ZEPPELIN TICKETS!!!!!! OK so I'm not really a fan, but DH and his bro are. DH is wetting himself!!!!

sleepbabysleep · 02/10/2007 18:11

YOU HAVE NOT!!!! Ohmygod my dh will probably vomit with envy Good going! Nice to hear of someone actually getting them otherwise you start to feel like it´s some sort of fix, like the lottery, you know?! Great, hope they have a marvellous time. Or alternatively sell them for a ridiculous sum and have a marvellous time with the money

Nutty sorry you´ve caught the bug, poor thing. Haven´t had to deal with N yet when I´ve been low and not looking forward to it.

Mammyjo - I wish I could help but we had a nightmare month with N waking up really often and I couldn´t for the life of me figure out what it was. I got to the point where I realised trying to figure it out/ fight it just makes it seem harder. Just when I decided to accept it and try and ride it out, he started going back to waking only 2 a night again so maybe that is the key?! lol worth a try?

was hoping to be on longer but mum has just arrived to babysit N so I can go to the hospital to visit Dad, chat later xx

Bramshott · 02/10/2007 18:13

Go with the Baileys Katy - actually can you pass some over here?

Damn to hear about F's night-waking Mammyjo. I don't know much about dummies as neither of mine have gone for one, but might you be better off trying to lose it now if she's waking for it?

Both DD's parked downstairs in front of Night Garden - hurray!

octoandflash · 02/10/2007 18:21

LED ZEPPELIN TICKETS - ARRGRGHHHHHHHH When did you hear? Must go check everyone I registered for me!

octoandflash · 02/10/2007 18:48

No - no emails Poor dh!

Sounds like there are a few poorly babies out there - hope they all get better soon - ernie is a bit hot and irritable - may be teeth or something but not too bad.

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 19:37

LOL at your scientific formula Oooggs!

Octo - got an email entitled Ahmet Ertegun Tribute last night and assumed it was just another junk mail, so ignored it. Noticed it again today and reality slowly dawned! Maveta, it would be impossible to sell the tickets on for a profit - the terms and conditions attached to the ticket sale are hugely onerous, including the following.....

"NO tickets will be mailed out. All concert goers must pick up their tickets and non-transferable wristbands in advance of the show at the O2 Arena between 10am and 6pm on Sunday 25th November and between 10am and 6pm on Monday 26th November. To avoid long queues on the day of the show you are strongly urged to pick up your tickets and wristbands on Sunday 25th November or arrive as early as possible on Monday 26th November, please be aware that ticket collection will be busy at peak times and you should anticipate having to wait to be served.
To collect the tickets each original purchaser and the person accompanying them to the show must be present in order to pick up the tickets and wristbands. NO exceptions
Each original purchaser must provide the actual credit card used for the purchase along with valid state-issued PHOTO ID in order to receive the tickets and non-transferable wristbands. All wristbands will be fitted immediately."

And so on.

We now have 48hours to respond to the email and purchase the tickets using the individual passcode that has been issued with the email.

Oh and get this, DH's brother does not want to go [huh?]. Hands up who wants to go with my DH?

oooggs · 02/10/2007 19:40

zep led who???????????

mammyjo · 02/10/2007 19:50

Hello again. Apologies for miserable post earlier. Struggling on very little sleep does not agree with me one bit. Oooggs, agree with your formula! I know that if I could just get a decent night of sleep (pity I cant buy one on ebay), then I would feel so much better.

Poor F has developed a nasty cough today too, so am not holding out much hope for tonight. I have given her some of that Calpol night, so am hoping that may help a bit. May be on the search for some decent cough medicine by tomorrow. SOL, any tips?!

Anyway, promise to be happier tomorrow. Either that or I will stay away!! Off to bed for an early night with a very large mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows on the top. Night all

SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 20:28

night mammyjo
stressed here
T has screamed since about 3pm and DH has an eye infection which is worse Have been trying to sort out te cupboards and generally do everything in between and DH is being a complete grump

PillockInThePumpkin · 02/10/2007 20:36

hows the prep for the move going other than that Katy?

dates set yet?

Sexonlegs · 02/10/2007 20:41

Evening all.

Oh dear, ill people. Hope everyone gets better soon.

Well, I didn't get to the HV to have K weighed as my boss rang wanting to come over for a meeting with one of the Snr Managers - grrrrrr. Honestly!

Mammyjo, what sort of cough is it? Chesty? Tickly? I do swear by the Tyxilix irritating night time cough stuff I have to say.

Runny, hope you get some answers from your boss soon.

Forgotten everything else .

K has been a bit grizzly today and has had a bit of a fever poor lamb, so she has gone to bed having had Calpol. And B, just before she went to bed complained of a sore tummy and tmi - had the runs! LOVELY!

Hoping it was just a one off.

The joys of the colder months and the bugs/viruses.

Hope everyone is ok. Going to bed soon as I am knackered. xx

oooggs · 02/10/2007 20:46

All these poorly people - well Jack is out of ITU and is on a ward, they are still in Bristol and he keeps getting blood in his nappies so even when they are discharged it is going to be an ongoing problem with frequent trips to hospital.

Just been reading about UCM and her racist posts

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 20:48

Oh oooggs, poor little Jack. My heart goes out to him and his parents. Should he make a full recovery do you know?

PillockInThePumpkin · 02/10/2007 20:52

i know oooggs, i was too

and ARSE. reading SOL's post has reminded me that tonight was the HV evening clinic I had planned on going to, it starts at 5.30 and somewhere between 4.30 and then I completely forgot about it

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 20:57

Bringing up Baby is about to start on C4.

oooggs · 02/10/2007 20:59
