SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 07:19

Morning!
what's the thread where oooggs's name twin changed her name?

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 07:57

Boo! Quick pop in - has been uber stressful morning already - P up at 6am, DH needing to be at work at 8am - so running round trying to get older 2 ready so he can take them to nursery before zooming off to work - then the shower broke!! Argh!!

He's gone now though!

We just hate Halloween, SMB - not your Birthday!!

tcmummy - funny you should mention Pheonix Cards - sadly, my BF had just set up a business in this area and I definitely don't want to be a direct competitor, especially as she is only a fledgling herself - GREAT idea though - they are fabby cards!! Thank you....

Speaking of job - LUCE - I applied for that GrassRoots thing and they said I'd hear back in three days, it has been over a week and I can't find the link to thier website so I can send them a snotty email!

I don't like tall people, either, Ange!! (My DH is at least 6 foot

P crying, gotts buzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ugh - had awful night. B wouldn't sleep in her cot after 1am - and only fitfully with me. No idea how often she fed - its all a blur. Think she has caught my cold as she sounds a bit hoarse, poor baby. Poor me too though. DH v sympathetic - but slept through most of it of course.....

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 08:05

Ooooooh, P just fell asleep on me - she never does that - I am honoured!

Sexonlegs · 02/10/2007 08:29

Morning ladies

Sorry to those who have had rough nights.

Hope all those who have been poorly are feeling better.

All ok here. No awakenings in the night from anyone! Going to get K weighed this pm as haven't been for a month and no idea how much she is.

Right, better get my a* in gear.

See you later. xx

SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 08:31

morning and bye SOL xx

sleepbabysleep · 02/10/2007 08:34

Morning! Well yesterday was a bit of a blur all in all but I really think I´m going to appreciate my days off more and more Dh just off to work and N already down for his morning nap so I´m off to shower and have a cuppa.

Just booked flights for Madrid at the end of November (yay!) Just going for one night but should be nice, dh has a gig to play so thought we´d all go and have a little city break. Only 75 quid for all 3 of us return!! And planning a weekend break to Barcelona in a few weeks to stay with a friend that is spending the winter there.. again should be really cheap (island residents get up to 50% off flights to the mainland ).. I´ll do the accounts later [oh well]

Am really looking forward to these little breaks especially with all that has happened and not getting to go to London a few weeks ago, and I´ve only been to Madrid once, when I was 8 weeks pregnant and NOT very happy company so will be nice to see it in a (hopefully) better mood.

SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 08:36

Was just about to post £75
Then I realised you are, in fact, maveta [thick]
Glad you have a break planned and are appreciating being at home today. Are you in Wed and Fri then?

sleepbabysleep · 02/10/2007 08:37

Oh forgot to update (cos of course you´ll all be on tenterhooks to find out ) nights are MUCH better since N is in his own room. Last night he still woke twice, at 1.30am and 5am ish but we didn´t have all the other grumbles and groans and noises that make us leap out of bed to check he´s okay so I feel veritably refreshed today

No plans today, Looks like Dad will be in hospital another week he´s getting very peed off and grumpy now which makes going to visit him a bit of a chore. Poor thing, he´s going out of his mind with boredom. So I´ll go see him but otherwise.. hmm.. not sure what I shall do..

Anyone else?

SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 08:41

I think peed off and grumpy sounds good - he's obviously feeling much better
Glad you had a good night - don't want to make you jealous, but T has slept through the last 2 nights - last night was 8.30 to 6.30, and I went to bed at half nine! I feel like Rip Van PolarBear!
Sure I'll regret that as he'll be up every hour tonight but for now I can be pleased.
I'm trying to fill in baby book today (yes, I know) and realised I have no idea when he first smiled, laughed and rolled over so was just going to make it up. Then I had a thought - after telling DH (or maybe even before) I'm bound to have jumped on MN to share it with you lot! So off to do a bit of archive searching!

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 08:42

Your poor dad, SBS Hope he is well enough to go home soon ...

busywithIzzy · 02/10/2007 09:40

On her neck & under her chin Dippy?
Yes we've got it pretty bad too!! Bibs don't fit properly so we are chnaging clothes all day...have been drying it as often as I can and putting bepanthen (?) on it. IOt looks so sore though.

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 09:51

We have some lovely 100% organic cotton bibs in the shop - I''m thinking of trying one of those to try and help - do you want me to pop a couple in the post to you as well!!? Also, I have some FAB stuff called "Pure Potions", which is a lovely natural-based moisturing salve - could decant some for you pop that in with the bibs?

OP posts:
SharpMolarBear · 02/10/2007 09:52

Oh is that what it is? T has a few colourless spots which I just noticed in the last few weeks. They don't seem to bother him though.

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 09:52

Pure Potions

Wonderful stuff!

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 09:53

No SMB - P's rash is full-on bright red, angry rashy, spotty, yukkiness! REALLY horrid!

OP posts:
busywithIzzy · 02/10/2007 09:59

Oh poor P That stuff sounds good Dippy if you don't mind?! How much do you want for them?

CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 10:05

Don't mind at all - nothing for the PurePotions and the bibs are £1 each (trade price ) so if you haven't sent the cheque for the Grobag, you could just add £2 onto it or otherwise, don't worry about it ..... ..... I'll pop them in the post to you a bit later .....

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 02/10/2007 10:07

The bibs are sort of smaller than normal bibs - so don't look so silly on a little baby and have snug neck fitting btw.

OP posts:
busywithIzzy · 02/10/2007 10:36

Sounds great. I haven't sent cheque yet so will add it on. Thanks hon. xx
