hi dg. sorry to be thick but what does it mean?

at mil.hope your dd isn't upset.

annobal · 24/09/2007 14:57

Get them learning Arabic - that will really freak them out

They're lovely most of the time but Mum can be a bit high maintenance at times...

Right, off to tidy before friends see what I'm really like (ie that I do no housework and spend all day on the pooter )

Right, my dog is very large. He is black and white, pointy face, ears down. He has dreadlocks as he hasn't been groomed for a very long time as he bit me once. He is very old but we don't know exactly as he was rescued from a dog's home. He is very good natured but totally untrainable for above reason - this according to our friend a former army dog trainer and specialist in dog reiki (I am not making this up). He is going deaf. He limps. I think he has a death wish as apparently he threw himself under DH's car too this morning.

Does that correspond to your picture DG?

You can have mine! He lives outside so no problem with the allergies. Great with kids. He would love to move to Scotland as he suffers the heat and loves nothing more than a bit of snow. I will pay for the courier.

He thinks I tried to run him over on purpose, I just took him some water and he got up and limped off

andiem · 24/09/2007 15:33

I love those pjs but agree very nasty synthetic looking things

sputnik · 24/09/2007 15:39

OMG I amgoing to have nightmares about those pj's tonight. Those people are serious

andiem · 24/09/2007 15:50

I know sputnik that's what makes them so funny or not

daisyandbabybootoo · 24/09/2007 16:24

ria...i didn't read all of your post about your dh obviously that is really shit. is there anything else he can do? DHs factory has fo example a couple of development chefs, so its cheffing but not full on pressure/physical like working in a restaurant. I'm sure one of them has just been sacked if you fancy a move to Lincolnshire, LOL.

sputnik, your poor dog . what a way to end your holiday.

was it nice? where were you?

Luckily the dog appears miraculously unharmed.

We went to Ischia, which is an island in the Bay of Naples. There are thermal springs, so hot pools all over the place, including our hotel. It had a sauna cave too. This is the 3rd year running we've been as it's not too far to get to.

We spent a day [www.negombo.it here]]

sputnik · 24/09/2007 17:22

Baby Sputnik didn't go swimming as thermal water isn't good for babies apparently. But it was love at 1st sight with him and the 16 year old waitress though.

It sounds amazing Sputnik. Am very . I've always wanted to go but we always end up in Rome...

LOL at the pjs - you wouldn't want to stand too close to a naked flame - puts a whole new slant on burning heretics .

daisyandbabybootoo · 24/09/2007 18:45

looks lovely sputnik.

I've just been looking at the centerparcs stuff, and if I read it correctly, there is a sauna in our villa ....unless something has been lost in translation and it's actually a bath!

Our own personal sauna.....how cool will that be?

DD is watching In the Night Garden and is transfixed. She's forgotten she's hungry, LOL

SmilingKiwi · 24/09/2007 18:49

Hi ladies, well Daisy reminded me to come join you again, I've been a lurking but each time I catch up, I don't have a chance to type in...feeding or playing take over! Things are going well, DS is a smiley happy wee man, but I do seem to be feeding constantly. Excl BFeeding and he is still waking every two hours day and night (has been since birth and he is now 14 weeks). Luckily we're handling lack of sleep OK
You all just seem to be getting on so well with LO's settling through the night! Apart from the odd other little niggle (wind etc) I am loving being a first time Mummy- we've even done our first trip overseas to the States at 11 weeks and DS was a dream. Hope you are well, it has been a gorgeous Autumn day! xx

daisyandbabybootoo · 24/09/2007 18:53

hey smilingkiwi...I'm glad you found us! Well done you at the overseas trip....we're off to Belgium soon, but are driving so a different kettle of fish altogether than flying.

Like I said in your thread, although babyboo sleeps all night, she feeds constantly through the day which can be a bit tiresome!

Her feeding pattern seems to change slightly all the time so you may find he starts to go a bit longer soon.

Right, In the Night Garden is finished and DD getting fretful!

Jamantha · 24/09/2007 19:45

Hi smilingkiwi, nice to meet you. My DD feeds every 2 hours roughly (sometimes a bit more frequently, somtimes a bit less) by day, but I'm very lucky, that with the help of 1 bottle of FF at bedtime (immediately after a feed from me) she sleeps most of the way through, normally just waking once in the small hours. I do feel for you if you're up every 2 hours through the night as well, and really admire you stamina!

Hope you manage to find enough time between feeding and playtime to keep up with us!
