Well sob then, it'll make you feel much better than analysing why you want to sob

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 16:27

Hormones?

I did something rash today.

2boysmacca · 16/10/2007 17:02

Well done you! What gym is it, a chain or just a local? What motivates you, classes or floor work? If you need motivation take a class, that way it'll ensure you go.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 17:11

Just local(ish). Actually I've just realised that I had also wanted to look at an Odyssey gym before making a decision . Ah well - it was only £10 joining fee, and then monthly dd, so I'm not committed for any minimum amount of time, so could easily change. Was going to do pay as you go, but then you have to pay separately for all the induction sessions, so figured I might as well join up to start with, and if I don't get much use out of it then I can stop membership and PAYG after that.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 17:32

Most likely hormones - have replied on your thread... my first response probably wasn't relevant

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 18:34

Someone drag me away from the friends with the friendless child thread...

CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 20:23

Well done csws. But if you're morbidly obese what the hell does that make me?

Well the quilt went down well and he's fast asleep

CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 20:27

Not that i think you are anywhere near obese

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 20:29

Here you go Phoenix - work it out!
Actually they don't seem to use the term morbidly obese, and I'm not sure of my exact weight at the moment, but it would certainly put me very close to the 'very fat' category, if not in it.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 20:31

Damn hormones.

Sat here welling up realising that this is DD's last week of half days, and as desperate as I have been for her to go full time, it is suddenly sinking in that in a fortnight she will be gone ALL DAY for the rest of her childhood (Obviously term time but ykwim)

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 20:38

And come next summer holidays you'll be wishing she was back there . Have a huggle though {{{{{flame}}}}}

TicTac · 16/10/2007 20:41

I have gone all shy...been ages since I logged on here. However, DH and I have decided to begin TTC for baby number 2 so this was the first place I thought to come...so, any more pregnancies/ babies on here? How are you all doing? Keeping well I hope.
xxx

CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 20:47

I'm fat I'm not telling you my weight. I so need to do something about it, can't afford the gym. I was a member of one a few years ago signed up on a 3 year deal and after a year it just closed and they dissappeared never to see my £300 again

CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 20:49

Hello TicTac Long time no see.

TicTac · 16/10/2007 20:50

Hi Phoenix, I am a useless mumsnetter!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 20:52

Hey there TicTac!
Dewmeadow has already had her next baby.
Chloe and I are both trying (I've been at it for a year, and Chloe for a couple of months).
mustrunmore (ixel) and Frizbe have made sure that they won't have any more - snippety snip!
And dame (helen38) may or may not be pregnant at the moment, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for her.
I guess you also won't know that Kel (3k) split from her husband, though life is a whirlwind of dates for her these days .

So how are you and Peyia?

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 20:53

Oh, and you missed out on a big meet up at my house in the summer!

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 21:01

TICTAC!!!!!

Never took you off the list

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 21:02

And Flame is not broody, no no no she isn't, not in the slightest.

TicTac · 16/10/2007 21:03

OMG it's all going on! Is Kel ok? and bummer to the house party...

We are really good thanks. Peyia is full of chat and seems all grown up (as in not a baby!) and very independant.

Me and DH have not actually started trying yet, November will be our first go. Ironically we began trying for Peyia 3 years ago in November!

How are you guys doing?

TicTac · 16/10/2007 21:05

Hey you....I just noticed the list, you lot are so sweet, like another family...

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 21:07

You can be our prodigal son!

We're ok thanks. Life still much the same really.

Right, gotta go and concentrate on Bringing Up Baby and ranting at the TV!

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 21:08

Good - I'm buried somewhere under my plans for world domination with cloth nappies, Emrys climbs. A lot. And chatters some recognisable words/phrases (his favourite being "I did it!" as he points to the crayon on the wall )

I think Pippa wins with her talking, and Bram is speaking THREE syllables of gobbledigook now

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 21:10

Oh yes, that reminds me - dd has a 3 syllable word in her vocab now - 'imagine'. Methinks she's been watching a bit too much storymakers, as she waves her arms in front of her when she says it .

TicTac · 16/10/2007 21:13

I love the gobble! We get counting all the time, she loves counting 1 through to 10 and expects a cheering audience at the end. But I don't like it or I don't want it are 2 resident favs..most annoying!

Oh, I got a new job! My DH thinks I am a spook, or is it just spooky, can't remember. However, I am not, I simply work for BAE systems.
