Bad Mothers' Club, I think.

FlameBat · 15/10/2007 23:08

Norksdrift?!!?

NorksDrift · 15/10/2007 23:09

Sorry,was that wrong?

FlameBat · 15/10/2007 23:14

sorry - I was thinking you were Frizbe or someone with a namechange and I was intrigued... but now I realise that I am just stupid and rude I'm sorry

It is indeed bad mother's club

NorksDrift · 15/10/2007 23:17

Thank God. I hadn't read the whole thread and I suddenly thought I had committed some dreadful faux pas!

FlameBat · 15/10/2007 23:19

I really am sorry I get so used to it just being the handful of us on here I forget that the rest of MN post sometimes (Although I always seem to remember that they read it for some reason )

CountessPHOENIXula · 15/10/2007 23:20

Ah ok I've had a look but can't be bothered to register tonight but might tomorrow and have a look

CountessPHOENIXula · 15/10/2007 23:23

Oh I don't need to register to look doh, just register to post so i'll have a read now

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 06:50

Must be early - Jas hasn't posted yet!

Jas · 16/10/2007 07:20

Morning Been up a long time csws? Another bad night?

Well dp has woken up feeling sick this morning, so he's off work. I have told him I will be out all day, but now I'm getting a bit worried about dd1. She almost always gets up with me at 6 and is still asleep. If she isn't well either I will have to stay home with her. I will wake them both at 8 and let you know if I have to cancel mrm.

Jas · 16/10/2007 07:35

She's up and eating her porridge I will be there later.

mustrunmore · 16/10/2007 07:41

Hmm. Was just about to say I'll hold off hoovering incase you dont come!!
Ds1 is miffed because you wont have the firls with you. Am wondering whether my neighbour might volunteer to take him to playgroup with her when she calls for us(forgotto tell her we're not going today)

Bad night with ds2.In our bed from midnight. firstthinf he does in the moring though, is give me a hge kiss, which is cute. But not worth having him taking up all the bed all inght

Hang on, so, only scan read. What have you donr flame?

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 07:44

No, not a bad night Jas, just not long enough! I don't like getting up when it's still pitch black outside.

Jas · 16/10/2007 07:45

AA says it will take 1/2 hour to get to you. I will not leave before 11, as I'm working til 10.30 and need to get that stuff from the loft, too.

Flame has deserted us for BMC

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 07:45

interestin mix of letters there MRM

I have been on BMC and I quite like it...

mustrunmore · 16/10/2007 07:50

Ah, so we could prob go to playgroup, as thats 10 till 11.30, but we usually leave before the singing at the end as neither boy will sit and do it! So, text we when you set off. God, 1/2 hr by car as opposed to 1.5 hrs by public transport!!

Bugger off Flame. I cant help it if my brain is quicker than my hands!

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 08:01

Excuses excuses... you just want to make people think you're intelligent.

Still very about poor Norksdrift

mustrunmore · 16/10/2007 08:06

Well, actually, the real reason is that I wanted t o do typing at school, but hey wouldnt let me. They basically said it was for thick pupils only, so my only other option in the timetable was physics. Which I was crap at, and dropped before GCSE anyway I still think typing would've been far more useful! Irt wasnt like I wasnt doing enough other 'proper' subjects!

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 08:19

Awww

DS is being a demon child - fought like hell against nappy going on, won't let me do a wrap, kicked and screamed whilst I did his top

CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 10:05

We got up at 8.45 today Dh went to work at 6am, i heard him get up but went straight back to sleep and didn't hear ds til 8.30

I'm thinking of putting ds to bed tonight with a cot quilt instead of his grobag cos he's starting to unzip his grobag on a morning and he only wears a l/s bodysuit in grobag so worrying if he starts taking it off he'll get cold legs. I know he'll kick his quilt off but at least he'll have pj's on, what d'ya think?

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 10:25

I've only ever used blankets with DS anyway (and he doesn't seem to feel the cold), so not a great deal of help

2boysmacca · 16/10/2007 11:38

I used to put ds2 in pj's and grobag. Loft rooms are either very hot or very cold. Ours is quite cold now the weather has turned. We put ds2 in a quilt last week and it worked a dream with regards to settling him but he never ever sleeps inside it, I'm sure he's waking up early because he's cold.

Move from cot to bed gone very smoothly. He's not attempted to get out of bed yet but I have to admit, the way the bed guards are fitted, it'd be very difficult for him to get out. I thought it'd take him a matter of seconds to attempt it but he's not even bothered. He still shouts for us to get him up.

2 hour session at the gym. One hour with PT then an hour of cardio. I'm knackered so gonna make me a toastie and curl up with my workbooks.

mustrunmore · 16/10/2007 11:40

ds2 refuses to sleep with anything covering him except his jamas. now he's in feece for the winter again, he's trying to undress himself in disgust.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 11:58

Well it sounds a great plan in theory Phoenix, but do you remember that I tried it the other week, with the result that dd screamed and screamed and screamed until I had removed the quilt and the pillow from her cot, and put her back in her grobag! Hope you get on better than we did!

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 12:04

What's wrong with me today?? I just want to sit and sob
