ant remeber what they were last time we spoke exactly. But if I remember correctly, then they've changed! Maybe for the better (for me, obviuously!), but it all depends on job offers etc. And it might be better for him re the money.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:30

Ahhhh, so he might stick around then.

Any of you lot watching BUB btw?

Jas · 09/10/2007 21:31

No. Ca'tget at the tv

TBH I found it quite disturbing last week and am not really missing i.

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 21:33

Got him till start of December. After that, its all anyone's guess.Could just be weekends I see him then, and certainly not every one, as I've got childrearing t odo

Watching what?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:36

Bringing up Baby!

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 21:39

Yep, just realised that! Answer is no anyway, fairly obviuosly.
Did I mentio we watched The Beakfast Club last night? Brings back sooo many memories from around that time I loved the film then, and I still do. i'm prob a bit of a girl with regards to films!

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 21:39

Breakfast oops!

Frizombie · 09/10/2007 22:57

So tired I hardly took any of that in

CSWS for free afternoon, don't do chores next week, take a book and sit in starbucks in peace! or amble around borders enjoying the lack of child at your ankles wonder if we'll ever get Barnes and Noble here

Flame did you have a good outing?

Jas for fil and the visa saga, hope he gets sorted out asap tomorrow.

Dame, test dammit woman good luck to dh for job, that was you wasn't it, or was it macca?

Hi evryone else, head in a fudge today, jam for brains etc, spent lots of time sloging in shop, we now have some shelves with stock on them, but at shop fitting delivery place, as no tego metal shelves for our mags til Thur (promised today) and no sodding hooks either, (also promised today) nearly got broadband installed earlier, till dh cried out, no! don't, I want it wireless (and we had no wireless stick thingy with us.......so called a mate, who picked one up in Derby and brought it back for me, Meridian your a star ) Been writing orders for new stock all night, got a nice takewaway curry for tea though, so all not bad

Day off tomorrow, just the kids to look after!!!

Oh and the dd's drink milk here, mainly through those nesquick straws, but it gurantees milk into both of them

Jas · 10/10/2007 06:46

Morning. Enjoy your day off (ha! Only the two childen to look after on your day off) Frizbe.

We were up at 5.30 as fil wanted a lift to the train station before dp went to work.

Can anyone give me a present idea for a 3 yr old boy please? (Nephew) I'm feeling totally useless.

SofiaAmes · 10/10/2007 07:06

Hot Wheels. Hot Wheels. Hot Wheels. And the track to go with them. You can usually find at least one loop the loop track for sale at toysrus. I have yet to meet a boy of any personality type who doesn't enjoy hot wheels.

Jas · 10/10/2007 07:12

Thanks

Flamesparrow · 10/10/2007 07:41

So I'm being ripped off with a £5 bottle of wine in exchange for 5 1/2 hours childcare?

Yesterday was good but exhausting. She arrived and announced I'd upset her on another thread recently

Funeral today. Exhausted, feeling sick, DS's bum isn't being entirely co-operative and DH put his nappy on wonky so his one pair of clean fitting jeans are now wet and I have to leave in a min to get him to nursery I'm so tired, I keep crying (and I don't think it is funeral related crying). My head is pounding.

Sorry

OP posts:
Jas · 10/10/2007 07:56

I hope it goes ok today, Flame.
At least today you can cry freely and no one will wonder why. Just let it out.

2boysmacca · 10/10/2007 08:18

Flame. Hope it goes well. Agree with Jas, use it as a way of letting all your emotions out. We all feel better after a good cry.

I've lost my voice much to the amusement of my children.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/10/2007 08:19

What, the nappy buying woman was another mn'er?

Hope the funeral goes ok .

mustrunmore · 10/10/2007 08:19

Flame. You'll be ok, i know.

Jas, agree re Hot Wheels. Whats the budget? Toys r Us had the dinosaur track thing half price, 19.99.
Or a micromachines set.
Or anything Playmobil. They do some good little cars and sets for 5.99. The microworld ones are good; like a boys magnetic polly pocket!!
Or any vehicles really.
Or how about a book? ds1 is really into trying to read himself

When do you need it?

2boysmacca · 10/10/2007 08:20

Also agree with hotwheels, or any cars the movie cars or books (harry and his bucketful of dinosurs go down a treat here) or "how to catch a star" or any Thomas and friends books.

mustrunmore · 10/10/2007 08:23

Scooter? Fold up ones £10 in argos (£20 for flashing one).

Jas · 10/10/2007 08:32

Budget is about ten I guess. Scooter sounds great for dd2 for Christmas

I know he koves Cars the movie stuff, so that or Hotwheels I think (Also has to be not too big as parents are taking it toFarance when they go next week, so have to hve it by Thrsday next week.)

How big is the wooden pirate ship? I need Christmas presents, too

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/10/2007 08:36

Why isn't ds1 getting the ship now?

mustrunmore · 10/10/2007 08:38

Its in a box about the size of... er, trying to think...2 shoeboxes? Plywood, all still flatpacked and needs putting together (got all instructions!)It also has a castle backdrop with it. The box is plain white, so not very attractive, but the ship will be great! I got it in Argos last year in the sale, so you can have it for what I paid (ish; cant remember exactly I know it was reduced from 29.99 to 16.99, but then I got a bit more off at the till I think as it was the last one! £10?)

Think argos do girly scooters too!

mustrunmore · 10/10/2007 08:40

Oh hello csws, sorry! Er, because he's sooo into playmobil, and because dh decided it wouldnt be prudent to take the ship to work to put it together, given the current climate And because I figured that playmobil takes up less room.

mustrunmore · 10/10/2007 08:41

Er, Jas, what are you getting Boy for xmas? I've got a Little People airport sitting here if you want it! We swopped it for our garage with neighbour, but the ds's arent that fussed about it really Ypou're very welcome to it if you want it.

Jas · 10/10/2007 09:25

I've got a little people garage (free as replacement for recalled Polly Pockets)and a Little people road and rail set for ds (second hand, but vgc). Airport as well would probably be overkill

I'd like to buy the pirate ship though. ANY CHANCE OF ME COMING tO PIcK IT UP FROM YOU NEXT WEEK, SO THE PARENTS COULD TAKE IT AND THEn DB COULD ASSEMBLE IT AT HOME(oops)?

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/10/2007 09:28

Me me me - let me come too. And you could bring your dolly stuff for me at the same time Jas.
