Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh and I fully expect to have an enormous boy (if I am that is)

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 20:37

lol - normally when fil is there you don't get to use the pc at all!

This will give you a laugh. I don't know exactly what the going rate is for a childminder, but when I asked dh how much he thought we were paying per hour, his guess was £15 .

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 20:41

Around here Childminder are about £3 -£4 an hour! you wouldn't pay a nanny that up here

Bless him

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 20:43

(We're paying £4.50)

Jas · 09/10/2007 20:43

I'll drive to your house and look after your dd for £15 an hour

He spent 6hours waiting outside the Indian Embassy o get a visa today, and couldn't get it, so has to try again tomorrow. He is understandably tired, and looking very old and frail
He usually mopes in here with the paperand I can' turf hm out to mn.

Jas · 09/10/2007 20:44

TBH £4.50 is more than some of the childminders I know get.

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 20:46

Guess which of my children is still awake and shouting at his brother for not listening to him when he was telling him something important, his brother being fast asleep at this point

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 20:49

I'm getting £5 per hour for my 2 days looking after friends child, some of which has already been given in goods (ds1's new mattress!). Often have him for a while, and she helps me wihstuff, but she wanted to do this as a proper arangement as its 2 long days The funniest bit is, dh will actually have all 3 kids for a bit as I have to go to parents evening

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 20:51

Well she's worth that to us, and it does include nappies and food, and dd is happy with her which is priceless .

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 20:52

It's the second child BTW

I'd be your nanny for £15 per hr and I'm nneb qualified and everything

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 20:53

Which friend is that mrm - one that I've met? I trust you'll be putting the income on your tax return so that I don't need to shop you to the authorities .

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 20:53

Ladies please - how could I possibly choose between you all .

Jas · 09/10/2007 20:56

Well dame is nneb but will want materity pay I'm closer and won't.
I'd pay £4.50 for the right person. I get £6 an hour for cooking and cleaning for my friend. (I only do 3 hours a week so I think I'm safe on the tax front)

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 20:58

Yep, one that you've met.
Do I have to declare a mattress? That accounts for £75

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 20:59

BTW< I'm doing it because her regulatr childminder cant do those 2 days for some reason, which leaves her up the creek a bit

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 21:00

I also live miles away

So how do I get the GLTC discount then? anyone know?

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 21:06

Well I am far to tired, off to bed with a cuppa and my book.

DH has got an interview for a job he really fancies tomorrow would be good as he is so unhappy ATM

Night

Jas · 09/10/2007 21:09

No idea about the discount.

Good luk for dps job hunting. Will we get test results tomorrow?

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 21:15

Think it'll give you a code somewhere to enter when you buy. Have a click around!

damewashalot · 09/10/2007 21:15

If I get on here and do actually test

It's odd I'm in much less of a rush to test this time, I guess part of me is still expecting period to arrive. If it arrives then I wiil say oh well I was just late but if I do a +test and then it arrives ......you see where i'm going here? you can't lose something you didn't know you had. Does that make any sense at all really must go to bed now.

Jas · 09/10/2007 21:16

Try the link on [[http://www.mumsnet.com/s/mn.Uop?f=g here] to get your discount.

Jas · 09/10/2007 21:18

here
I think it recognises you as a mumsnetter if you use their link???????

Oh, mrm. I hope it is ok. He's not a job changing kind of man is he?

Jas · 09/10/2007 21:19

IKWYM dame.
I will be quite disapointed now if you get a neg result though.

mustrunmore · 09/10/2007 21:22

Nope, he really isnt. Been there 18yrsish! Has turned down other offers in the past.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/10/2007 21:23

Sorry to hear about your other man mrm. Are his future plans definite yet?
