pmsl @ the scissors

Anyone can come visit - you just have to give me oodles of warning and/or step over the cr*p.

Who did I find hotels for then?!?!?!

"Please ensure that all clothing and personal items are clearly labelled with woven name tapes and labelled in appropriate upper and lower case letters (e.g. John Brown)."

Do you think maybe this school is a bit too anal, even for me?!

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 22:50

pmsl!!! I'll never forget the very set requirements for needing names embroidered in the right place on my pe t-shirt and netball skirt for senior school.

Attention to detail is good though - if they give that much of a sh*t about nametags, think what they will be like with her education (Or they will be spending all the time checking the nametags and not teaching )

Which school was that?

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 05/10/2007 22:56

Tomorrows, so 3rd choice already anyway.

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 22:58

Tis ok then

Your climbing thing didn't go for as much as it should have did it mrm? Wrong time of year. If I'd known it was going to go for that little I'd have bid and sold it on again next spring .

Jas · 06/10/2007 07:01

No lie in

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 06/10/2007 08:08
Sad
Jas · 06/10/2007 08:31

Never mind. We're up now I'm going to make the dds come shopping with me this morning
I'm just off to wake dp and make him get up too[evil grin]

Have fun at the open day.

Anyone wat to meet me at Ikea next week? I was thinking of going on Tuesday, as I need to get a few bits, and I can get ds' feeet measured at Mothercare while I am there.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 06/10/2007 13:42

Hmmm - not sure about Tues. What sort of time, and which one is it you go to?

Well, have been to the open day, and whilst there was nothing actually wrong with the school, I will be quite disappointed if that is the best that we see. Spoke to a couple of other parents there who were also looking at one of our preferred schools, and got the impression, from one set in particular, that they vastly preferred the other one too (and they have visited it already). They certainly thought that the facilities there were much better. Will have to wait until 19th to find out for ourselves!

mustrunmore · 06/10/2007 13:56

Dont think we'll make it back in time for nursery really; I hate being stressed re time! It takes about 45 mins on the bus, so I'd want to leave a bit before that to amke sure. It could be done I suppose. I dont know!

csws, I'm happy with the price, given that we got the replacement one for free anyway, and I obviously didnt buy the old one brand new. And at the end of the day, its a weeks grocery money!!

mustrunmore · 06/10/2007 14:02

Flamesparrow · 06/10/2007 14:30

Ooh yes - convert the video

also lmao @ the waitrose prices Anyone else wanna do a life swap kind of thing, where we get someone else's budget to live off for a month? I'd probably end up with MRM's though and have the same month I normally do!

OP posts:
CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 06/10/2007 14:33

Err, let me think on that for a minute........Ok, I've thought, and the answer is.....NO (unless I can have PPH's budget)!

mustrunmore · 06/10/2007 14:34

You're just mean CSWS - you could be like that woman Jarvis Cocker goes on about and learn to live like common people

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 06/10/2007 14:36

You need gaffer tape for your outift? Have I missed something?
