I'm so rude, i've not been on here for ages to wish anyone else a happy day - Happy October everyone! and happy birthday Anna and Kai.

We had a brilliant halloween/birthday party. DH thoroughly enjoyed decorating the house and we had fireworks, bobbing for apples and pin the tail on the cat. Our house is finally full of boys toys, after owen having to put up with his sister's cast offs for the past year!

I shall read the thread when I get chance, it completely lost me when i first logged on and started reading Sept!!
Hope everyone's doing ok. Our next hurdle is Christmas - eek

I would love to join this thread..my DD was born on the 16th October '06 weighing 6lbs 2 oz. She was 4 weeks early. She has slightly low muscle tone but is catching up fast and just starting to crawl. She is very very lively so this is a scary prospect! She is babbling away and very sociable, waving to everyone!!

Welcome Mazmack. It is very quiet on here. Where is everybody?
My internet connection is being a bit off so hasn't been letting me post when I have been trying.

LO has had tonsillitus and infection in both ears. It has been a nightmare the last 7 days. Her cold seems to not be letting up- do colds last ages in babies?
I have no voice at moment either think I am catching it.

Got my formal meeting at work on Friday I'll probably get my 1st warning for sickness. They are really stressing me out. Arghhhh.

It's so unfair that you can get formal warnings for being genuinely sick, isn't it!!! I think colds can last longer in babies, as their immune systems are not mature yet

Oh samsam you poor lo. Tonsilitis is the pits. Hope she and you are on the mend soon. ds3 has a bad cough at the moment too . H ewoke with a temperature this morning so hes not going to nursery today.
lo is fine thank goodness and walking round trying to eat bits of my wrapping paper.
dh is sore from his op. Keep telling him to stop being such a matyer(is that how you spell it?) and try giving birth to 5 babys

Been a total nightmare here too - Samsmam. Amber has been up the last 2 nights screaming and crying with her teeth. She has been shivering with pain, it is horrid and you feel so useless. Not too mention irritable due to lack of sleep.

What is your LO called?

Well I am thinking I may be pg again. Have had aching right thigh vein, mega acute sense of smell, fluish symptoms on Saturday and boobies are aching. Will do test on Thursday. Not sure when due AF though because of MC last month. Cycle is usually clockwork so might be due on Sunday. When PG with Amber I tried one of those 4 days earlier tests but it came out negative, tested day AF due and was positive so they are not that reliable. Will know by Sunday for definite though. Really really really need to try to finish this bloody dissertation but am sooooo knackered with LO teeth etc.

GINGEME - I used to love Thorntons but gone off thema bit - although the rum truffles are DELICIOUS. One year I ate over 6 foot of toblerone - isn't that shocking!
