And dairy-free too if needed.

It's not been the best month for a lot of Januaries has it?

same as wilkie, DS4 has 7oz bottles which goes up to just over 8oz's with milk....but its still a 7oz bottle to me.

theUrbanDryad · 10/09/2007 10:02

morning all. bit of a rubbish night here - Zac seemed to be feeding really frequently but struggling to latch, when i woke up this morning i found out why: there was a massive bogey on my pillow! nice! they don't tell you about that on the Dr Sears website do they?

just had a mad panic as Z was just sick all down his bib - i caught it all but then had to get the bib into the washing machine pronto and i couldn't get into the cupboard where it is cause dh's fucking shoes were in the way!

i think i freaked out LTH this morning by txting her and telling her i had a dream about her. she probably looked like this when she got the text!

hope everyone off on hols today has a lovely time - i'm very , would love a holiday!

theUrbanDryad · 10/09/2007 10:03

LadyTophamHatt · 10/09/2007 10:15

LadyTophamHatt · 10/09/2007 10:30

well I thought it was funny.

i didn't really, i prob end up shooting one of the spectators...

eandh · 10/09/2007 10:37

quick post from me we're all packed just waiting for hattie to wake up (unusual long nap this morning!) an we're off.

Hope everyone has a good week and I'll see you on friday night when we're back (am not allowed to take laptop ) I'll probably be more knackered than before we went but it'll be worth it.

DH hope all goes well with the bf/ff

theUrbanDryad · 10/09/2007 10:37

but is Cod's real name Jill??

Dragonhart · 10/09/2007 11:40

Thanks Wilkie and LTH. I can only get her to take a small amount so was hoping that it was the larger ammount and then it would appear that she was getting more IYSWIM!

VinoRouge · 10/09/2007 12:31

All this talk of waxing has made me think I should be brave. Strictly a razor girl here!

Rgee - hen w/e sounds lovely and relaxing. He he about DH needing a sleep. Hope Pippa's bruise is ok.

My DH actually hoovered downstairs while I was out yesterday. V impressed. Then again I had taken E to the car boot with me so he could have an undisturbed lie in. I did a car boot on sat and sun and taking away my pitch fees I made 70ish quid. Not bad! I got a big bag of 9-12 months clothes for Ellen for 2 quid from the stall next to me - the people were nice and the clothes smelt freshly washed and ALL PINK!

UD - I had never heard of cruising shoes until last week. I won;t be bothering with any. Ellen doesn't wear socks or shoes - normally just barefeet.

LadyTophamHatt · 10/09/2007 15:14

Ds4 wears this type of thing (but his have trains on, not tassles!!), they're really really soft and have no hard bits to restrice his feet.

Then usually stay on really well but while I've been serching for a picture the little monkey has managed to get them off for the 1st time.

LadyTophamHatt · 10/09/2007 15:14

yes, it might actually help if I posted the link too.

idiot

Dragonhart · 10/09/2007 15:50

I had some like that for Luke and have bought them for Ruth too. I did try to get Luke cruising shoes but his feet were too big and they didnt make his size

Speaking of shoes, had to fork for another pair for Luke last week. They look massive on him, but lady said that old ones were squashing his toes (I hadnt noticed but it was actually quite bad . They arent cheap either so put it off as long as you can!

geoRGEEweasley · 10/09/2007 18:36

Hi all. I am absolutely starving!!!!!!

Don't have any shoes here either. Not sure I need shoes given the impressive bum shuffling that's been taking place this last couple of days. My floor needed a nice old polish as well
And this talk of waxing made me cross my legs! I am a reet wuss so have to be happy with an untamed pant moustache (tmi?)
LTH pmsl at wilie!
Dragon, we have a Wii and I love it too. The bowling is my favourite, but I haven't tried boxing. Have you given the tennis a go? It doesn't half knacker your arms though - I always end up almost throwing my arm out of the socket.

I've just bought a Britax Eclipse Si.

Where's my tea?

LadyTophamHatt · 10/09/2007 19:23

with alll these boys we've got a Wii would be a fantastic xmas present fro them all, wouldn't it??

They've all got soooo many toys and it'll only get worse at xmas. getting a Wii would reduce the toy mountain by about 900%.

geoRGEEweasley · 10/09/2007 20:34

They would love a Wii LTH. My 6 year old nephew loves it. I reckon you would too!

katwith3kittens · 10/09/2007 22:07

Sorry to be such a bore ... but arent the majority of games 18+ ?

We bought a playstation a couple of years ago for kids at Christmas and bought singstar for us, a kind of kari-oke (? sp)

Its FAB !!!

Dragonhart · 10/09/2007 22:07

You all be fighting to have a go LTH! It is such a good christmas present. Really good fun for adults and children.

Try boxing Rgee. You have to use two remote things and batter your opponent. Great fun!

Dragonhart · 10/09/2007 22:09

Kat- there are lots 3+. TBH the ones that come with it are ace anyway.

Dragonhart · 10/09/2007 22:14

Oh no, just re-read my last few posts and I sound just like DH when he was trying to persuade me we couldnt wait til christmas for the wii! I am turning into a wii bore

theUrbanDryad · 11/09/2007 09:40

AAARRRRGH - how long does it take for top teeth to come through? Z woke up at half 12 last night sobbing in pain, then he bit my nipple! owch! so i said NO and left him to cry for 30 secs, but then he wouldn't latch on again - he was so upset, we gave him some medised and some calgel, but he just would not go back to sleep. we eventually got him back to sleep at about 3.

So I am giving Ruth one ff a day now in the afternoon at abut 3 but she is only taking about 75-100ml.

She is having a bf in the morning, the ff at three, then a bf before bed. Along with milk on her cereal and cheese and yoghurt most days does that sound like what everyones lo are having? Luke was such a greedy guts that I never had to worry with him!

DH been working loads over the last 2 weeks (one and a half days off in almost three weeks) and it all ends tom then back to normal shifts with afew extra here and therre. Will be so relieved to have hm around to help. All you mums who have partners away a lot must be super women!

Pink- I am dying to take LUke to one of those soft play things. WHen can you start taking them? Did he enjoy it?

BTW LTH, checked the Wii box and it says 7+ but I think that is because of the games that come with it not the wii as we also got a game with the extra handset which is 3+.

LadyTophamHatt · 11/09/2007 20:33

I've convinced Dh its a good idea to get them a Wii.
Ds2 is a sports mad nutcase so he'll be happy.
Ds1 will go loopy at simply having a Wii in the house.
Ds3 will give it his best at an of the games and will LOVE watching it.

Me and Dh will complete night after night on it...

and I'm hoping DS4 will enjoy it as much as this baby

katwith3kittens · 11/09/2007 22:02

That is so lovely ... but dont watch it if you are BF !!!

DS2 just woke up so had him in my bed with laptop nearby and I giggled out loud, so much so that I made him jump ... and he bit my nip... with two teeth OW !

JodieG1 · 12/09/2007 08:12

Morning all, just a quickie from me to say that I've been accepted to start training to be a mother's support which means I can then go on to train as a full breastfeeding counsellor!! I'm so pleased Will try and catch up later, getting them ready for school (or should be but had to pop on and tell someone!)
