You have to leave the room too TA? Was it that bad??

N'night

Where's everyone else?

Oh, bet you are all looking at THAT thread!

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/08/2007 21:04

If anyone is still around...I've uploaded some photos of my handiwork to my profile. I'm thinking of trying to sell the baby vests on ebay or here to try and make some money.

Honest opinions please....and would you buy them?...and if you would how much would you be prepared to pay?

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/08/2007 21:04

What thread foxy?...what have I missed?

loonylovegood · 19/08/2007 21:14

Oh bugger! Annobal told me on my facebook that now I have crocs I should shop in Boden. Now I am ordering stuff off the website! Annobal if you are here you are a bad bad person!

Love the vests daisy! I wouldn't buy them as I am a pretty nifty tie dyer myself, but they are very cool! You could prob charge about £5 each I would have thought.

Talking of handiwork, has everyone seen my jewellery?

foxybrown · 19/08/2007 21:14

The 'DH Obsession ...' one.

Oh don't make me link it!

I feel mean laughing - I mean what if its true?!

faylisa · 19/08/2007 21:15

I've just looked at THAT thread - Oh dear!!!!!

Daisy - honest opinion is that I like the vests but am not so keen on the T-shirts. My favourite would be the graduated colour vest (top left). As for what to charge that's really hard - you could try sticking a few on ebay to test the water - if they didn't sell then it's only cost you a few pence in lost listing fees.

Otherwise - how about trying to make up and sell 'kits' for a kids tie-dying party? I thought that was a really good idea.

sputnik · 19/08/2007 21:17

That thread has to be a wind up, hasn't it?

foxybrown · 19/08/2007 21:17

Oh I am about to blaspheme!!

Ocado sucks!

That's better.

They sent me blueberries with a sticky, white gluey substance CONTAMINATING them. TBH looks like the glue machine went a bit mad. But it is wrong. And they didn't offer me a voucher!

Also, driver forgot some stuff.
Bananas bruised to buggery.
Bread rolls were mouldy.

Sainsburys would have given me a voucher [sulks]

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:19

Hi all! Back from hols in Devon , and am feeling a little more relaxed than before, i say little cos its the lack of sleep that is really getting to me. Back probably tomorrow when have chance to vagely catch up with things...... love to all

foxybrown · 19/08/2007 21:21

Welcome home! (By that I mean back to MN and us!) xx

Am off now. N'night all xx

loonylovegood · 19/08/2007 21:21

That thread is v odd! I think I would never be able to look dp in the eye again! I do sense a troll though!

OMG foxy! Aren't ocado supposed to be tip top? They are usually really good at customer service. Have you emailed customer services? I used Asda last time I did online shopping coz they sent me a voucher and they were great! On time and really nice fruit. Not usually an Asda fan, but was v impressed!

loonylovegood · 19/08/2007 21:22

Hey SG! Hope you are well xxx

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:23

Internet food shopping Foxy, it all sucks! I have had similar problems with Ocado produce and Tescos - (agreeing whole heartidly) I put it all down to the shoppers - you either get a good one or not IYSWIM

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:24

Yes thanks Holly how are you & the LOS? Night night Foxy xx

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 19/08/2007 21:25

hi
quick post - need to turn computer off and re arrange office to make room for treadmill that is being delivered next week for me to run on like a fat forest gump to try to loose the 3 stone of excess weight I have acumulated during pregnancy (yes I bought some scales today and I'm not liking what they are telling me!)
Daisy - love the bodyvest thingies - there isn't enough funky boys stuff out there IMO.
Foxy - bummer about your shopping
Seansgirl - welcome back
Hi everyone else!

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:27

WOW! DKMA am very impressed I too have shed loads of weight to loose - about 2 stone on top the 2 stone that I wanted to loose in the first place ! AM probably going to slimming world again when DD starts school in the nexty few weeks!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 19/08/2007 21:27

oh and I've managed to get some photo's of my little fella on facebook!
Seansgirl - you gotta get on there - you just gotta!

trendaverter · 19/08/2007 21:27

I am back from a little lurk

Thread HAS to be a wind up
Daisy - love the vests, brilliant, not so keen on the t shirts
Foxy - I stopped using Ocado for the same reason, they were 45 mins late, no voucher or anything, Sainburys are always brill (at least my one is).

My fart smell is still lingering. No more fried onion fajitas for me!

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:29

DKMA Facebook? Have I missed something? Or did you mean the treadmill?

Seansgirl · 19/08/2007 21:30

TA Hows DS and the reflux (sorry not had time to catch up - too much washing and unpacking going on here)

justbeme · 19/08/2007 21:31

hi daisy - like the vests - agree about the ebay idea/kds party idea or how about selling a few as a pack as thats how vests are mostly sold ?

trendaverter · 19/08/2007 21:33

Ahh he's good SG!
As long as we thicken the milk it's no problem at all. In fact I think (oops) that the GP may have diagnosed wrong and it may have been teething all along.... no idea.

All I know is, chuck some carobel or gaviscon in and he can eat no problem!

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/08/2007 21:33

Hey SG...glad tyou sre feeling a bit more relaxed and at one with the world. I'm having a pretty stressed out time as well nd think I'll ask doc to increase my dose of ADs.

We're having a Tuesday weigh in (or weight loss announcement) as suggested by bumper. I'm going to do SW as well and had a red day today...except I had fried eggs with my bacon and ate lots of crackling from the pork and had a big bar of galaxy and a magnum today and am now laying into the red wine....so not a good day diet wise.

Off to find that thread!

thanks for the comments on my tie-dying. I was thinking of sticking to baby stuff as it is cheap to buy, quick to do and bright vests etc are difficult to find for newborns and little babies.

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 19/08/2007 21:37

LOL TA...it's a good job you're not BF or you'd have the smell all over again tomorrow. DD definately gets fartier and smellier after I've eaten curry or spicy food!

She had a poo today....first one since Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) .....it looked like very thick, very smooth carrot soup and could probably be used in my tie dying as it colours everything in sight a lovely orange colour

OP posts:
trendaverter · 19/08/2007 21:38

Daisy... may be best not to mention that you use poo to tie dye the vests in your ebay ads

Or on the other hand - you could always promote them as organic?
