christ on a bike. did not mean to imply I thought anyone else was a fat cow, that would just be me.

Am taking my gob and related fingers away to amuse them with unneccessary food before I put my foot in any further!

sputnik · 15/08/2007 22:45

LOL Ria
I remember we first "met" on the exercise thread, so I know you have the will! Any chance of getting the walks going again?
Dunno if it's just me but I find if I exercise I have more willpower to resist eating too much, as I think I don't want to have wasted the effort IYSWIM

TheQueenOfQuotes · 15/08/2007 22:49

hello everyone - just a flying visit - DS3 is doing great - had him weighed last Monday (when he was 10 weeks old) and he was 13lb 10oz (7lb 6oz at birth!).

Some recent (last few days) pictures here (think the site is down for maintanence at the moment - so you may have to nosey later)

and pictures of him as newborn here on my profile (I'm Fannyannie incase you're wondering LOL).

sputnik · 15/08/2007 22:52

Hi QofQ, that's good news.

bumperlicious · 16/08/2007 08:46

Can I just say DD slept from 11.00pm til 6am this morning! Why does she always do these long sleeps on DH's shifts and only go 3 hours o mine?!

trendaverter · 16/08/2007 08:50

Not fair Bumper! But well done anyway!

I had feeds at 12am, 3.30 and 7.30 - ugh I am tired today

bumperlicious · 16/08/2007 08:53

Sputnik, I'm the same as you with exercise. If I've been really healthy I don't want to ruin it. I actually have a lot of determination and will power when I get into it. It's just getting out of the rut I find difficult.

Right, feeding DD then off to bumps and babies !

bumperlicious · 16/08/2007 08:56

I was up at 6 myself though, as I needed the loo then couldn't get back to sleep I could have been asleep till 8.30 if I hadn't have woken up. Also, why is it that when I have have has 7 hours sleep (a complete luxury) I still feel knackered? I think I would need to sleep for a solid week to feel human again!

trace2 · 16/08/2007 09:11

loonylovegood · 16/08/2007 09:20

Fark! I just weighed myself! I am 14 stone! Shit! I am 5'10" though! I need to lose about 2 stone, must join a gym!

trace2 · 16/08/2007 09:23

hope you all have a nice meet up, would love to come but way tp far

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 16/08/2007 10:18

Hi
Hope all of you meeting up have a great day! I'm very but like you Trace I'm just too far away.
My wifi has been playing up - so my computer is now in the hall by the front door - on the floor! Not the best for typing!

Brilliant idea Bumper - can I join your weight loss club?
I'll need to buy some scales - I have no idea what I weigh.
I used to be a size 10 and weigh just under 10 stone - but I was in the gym 5x a week and riding my horse 6x a week - so not sure I'll ever have the time to get back to this?! Bloody hope so - got tonnes of clothes that I'd love to wear again!

Like you Bumper I do have great willpower when I get into it - but am in a sugar addicted rut at the mo.

foxybrown · 16/08/2007 10:58

ahhh! About to leave when lo puked up all over me! Can't turn up covered in baby sick!

sputnik · 16/08/2007 11:22

That always happens to me. Followed by poo explosionbhh

riabutterflew · 16/08/2007 11:31

phew. glad i don't seem to have offended anyone. it's bad enough my rl friends shunning me without losing my virtual ones too.

Now, what can I eat today!

have a good meet-up

bumperlicious · 16/08/2007 11:41

Ok, just had flap jack at Bumps and babies, but in my defence it was homemade and had organic oats! And I bought one for DH so I don't feel so bad...ok, I am not going to lose 2 stone by eating flapjack!

Hop you all have a fab meet up. Really excited about the next one. Sorry to all those who are too far away. We'll have to have another one further north.

Glad you are back Ria. How are you managing with you DH and co.?

DKMA are you missing your horse?

loonylovegood · 16/08/2007 11:59

I've bloody well had enough! Why is my child the only one at toddler group who has paddies all the time! She had 3 small ones and one huge meltdown in the space of an hour and a half! It really makes me want to stay in and never go out again. She is such hard work. I was so ashamed, she was screaming so loudly that everyone was staring.

AAARRRSSSSEEE!!!

She is not watching cbeebies for the rest of the day as a punishment!

Hope everyone has a lovely meet up. Are you coming to the next one bumper?

loonylovegood · 16/08/2007 12:00

Sorry bumper, just read your post! Looking forward to meeting you !

faylisa · 16/08/2007 12:18

Morning everyone - I'd love to try and come along to the next meet up - when and where is it going to be?

I'm feeling utterly exhausted today - I put CBeebies on for DD so that I could have a sit down - and she turned the TV off and said she didn't want to! That must be a first - she's always pestering me to let her watch it and when I want her to, so that I can collapse on the sofa, she decides that she doesn't want to. Do they do it to torture us?!?!?!?

loonylovegood · 16/08/2007 12:27

Hi faylisa!

Yes, I'm sure they do do it to torture us! My dd is now screaming for cbeebies, do you wanna swap?

We are going to have some lunch and go to bed. I need some time away from the little brat!

bumperlicious · 16/08/2007 12:48

Faylisa, it's 29th August at the Horniman in London.

I wouldn't feel embarassed Holly, I'm sure everyone's child has done it at one time or another. Having a baby has definitely made me more sympathetic to other mothers!

My BF is having a suspected miscarriage at the moment. It's so sad She is 10 weeks and passing clots of blood. She has a scan this afternoon. She is dealing with it brilliantly though, I just don't know what to do or say to help her...

faylisa · 16/08/2007 14:34

Bumperlicious - thanks, I will def try and make it along.
