I'm here too, not sure how long for though.
Welcome Faylisa, the more the merrier here

We have a swimming pool!!!
DH got one of those giant paddling-pool type things really cheap, it's great you can just about swim in it if you don't mind going round in circles DD is too much of a wimp to actually swim in it yet, but we stuck her on a blow up matress and she floated around, fishing out rubber ducks eetc. Baby Sputnik had a textbook day, ate, played, slept, hardly cried at all. So, nice day in casa Sputnik

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 20:49

I polished off the rest of the biscuits But they are finished now, so as long as I don't buy any more crap...

I'm only 5'2" so my weight doesn't have anywhere to go. I was just having a look at the C4 website and they are looking for people to be on "how to look good naked" I would love to do it, if it wasn't going to be televised! Think of the free clothes! I wonder if I could do it and just not tell anyone... I think I would just be mortified about my work colleague seeing me in the nuddie!

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 20:56

With my stretch marks and wobbling size 20 arse I can only enter "how to look good - when you are a zebra"

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 20:58

And sadly for DS he seems to take after mum, he is gaining 1lb a week! Weighed in at 13lbs today, fark me

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 20:59

Faylisa we can be fat together. I am working on getting to an 18 as well! Although I am almost there, 20's are baggy but still can't get an 18 on. I just ate 5 chocolate biscuits, might be a few more days then

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 21:00

LOL at the zebra TA!

faylisa · 15/08/2007 21:10

mmmmmm chocolate biscuits - now I'm hungry!

justbeme · 15/08/2007 21:22

sputnik · 15/08/2007 22:14

Er Anne Nonimous?

Actually can I borrow that name? I am apparently so invisible DH just turneed the light off when I was still in thee room

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/08/2007 22:20

LOL...hello my name is Daisy and I'm a chocaholic. I weigh 12st3lbs ( I'm only 5'2"). I want to weigh 9st, but will settle for 9st10lbs.

my ds is infuriating...he doesn't even have the grace to realise i'm pissed off with him. he always eats with his fingers inspite of constantly being nagged at not to and he talks rather than eat so can sometimes take half an hour longer than dh and i to eat a meal. he's been warned that if he doesn't behave at the table his dinner will go in the bin [harsh cow emoticon]. so after the usual mucking about tonight, i took his plate from him. I'm hungry he wailed. you should have listened to me then, i said. he ten shrugged his shoulders and asked if it's going in the bin can i feed the carrots to the gerbils? AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

there isn't enough wine in the world to wind me dowm after the two days I've had.

i started this message at 6:30, but i haven't sat down until now to finish it. You've probably all gone to bed!

riabutterflew · 15/08/2007 22:22

the powders foxy mentioned earlier (befre I caught up so sorry if someone else has mentioned it) are Ashton & Parsons and are fab. As are Teetha for teething.

Have no time to facebook today, or anything else as DH feels we need more quality time and has started to put the kids to bed earlier (which is fine but will go tits up when he goes back to work. Also finding time to have as quality rather than me iunwardly seething and wanting to kill him is quite difficult!)

Am off to catch up.

Charlie999 · 15/08/2007 22:23

Aw Daisy - he isn't giving you an easy time of it at the moment is he . God, is this what I'm in for in a few years time? (I have very little patience so perhaps I better start learning some )

Tomorrow is another day - and you have your mum and sister with you now

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/08/2007 22:28

yes, I do, its been great seeing them last week and now again this week. Her kids are fab as well. They put my little monster to shame!

Hi Faylisa, you found us then? . things can move pretty quickly on here, so you have to just jump in with both feet!

Congrats on the birth of you LO by the way. My DD was born on the 5th and my DS is at the "farking awful five" stage of life

right, gotta go be sociable with the rellies!

Have a good time tomorrow...we want to see some photos of you holding each others babies on facebook...on second thoughts that will confuse things even further!!

OP posts:
riabutterflew · 15/08/2007 22:36

my name is not really ria and I am a fatter cow than the rest of you.
I am 5ft10 and have exceptionally heavier than normal bones.
Cannot put it off any longer, am around 16st12(holy cow!but that's what I was pre-PG) I drink too much, eat too much junk food, chocolate and crisps and sliced white bread toasted with I can't believe it's not butter. I am allergic to salad, healthy food and exercise. If I ever get down to 13stone it will be a bloody miracle but I would be very happy as have not weighed that since I'm not sure when, probably between DS1&2. All that said my clothes range between size 20 & 24(on a bad day), so considering some of the celebrity shite you see when they weigh 8 stone and are a size 10 or similar (sorry if that's anyone out there, I have no experience of either so just believe it to be untrue!), I don't think it's that bad really (other than the morbidly obese aspect and the fact that I couldn't pull if I used both hands!)but it still gets me down.

Have you been up my way yet daisy? Can't make a meet-up though as can't cope with driving that far. I am a wuss.

sputnik · 15/08/2007 22:38

Daisy, try and see the funny side Seriously though, if he sees it bothers you he'll probably just try and wind you up more.
Did you try giving him a 5 minute warning? I find it usually helps focus their minds

riabutterflew · 15/08/2007 22:39

BTW, things get far worse than five! DS2 is a truly terrible three (tho that might be cos people think he is a girl cos he has curly blonde hair?) and as for 10 - don't ask, just stock up on prozac and cheap wine while you can! (also teach them chess - I so love winning.)

Til tomorrow (if there's time between murdering invaliad husbands and scaring kids etc)

riabutterflew · 15/08/2007 22:40

last night it was my typing, tonight it's my spelling. Bugger even more.

Have a good meetup tomorrow, Rx
