Holly yes I tried to access your profile and it won't let me. You are special

loonylovegood · 13/08/2007 21:55

I am pretty special (in all senses of the word)! I don't know why they are maintaining my site, I've only been a member for a couple of days!

loonylovegood · 13/08/2007 22:00

I'm off, the internet keeps crashing and I can't be arsed to keep resetting it. Night all xx

trendaverter · 13/08/2007 22:00

righty ho
am off to wake a sleeping baby for a feed (yes, insane I know) then am off to bed. Night all!

daisyandbabybootoo · 13/08/2007 22:10

Hey Ria, have I missed you? Welcome back anyway . We were starting to worry about you and I was going to CAT you today as I don't have your e-mail. Its good that they are holding the job open for your DH though. don't be a stranger!

I've been trying to edit some photos so I can post them on facebook (is facebook the new mumsnet?) but I have crap software and can't airbrush the layers of fat off ......I was actually trying to crop my friend off the only decent recent photo of me that I have as I don't think she would appreciate me putting her face all over the internet.

Been trawling through all our holiday snaps and am even more aware of the fact that I need to lose weight, and lots of it.

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 13/08/2007 22:11

has everyone gone? sob

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 14/08/2007 07:53

still here by myself then?

Babyboo slept from 8:30 last night to 7:00 this morning , but she has puked everywhere this morning . I think she was just so hungry that she gulped it down too quickly.

Planning a creative day today, doing art projects and baking as the weather is just crap here. Give me till lunchtime before I'm tearing my hair out and screaming at my lovely DS!

daisy, join the club. i'm so miserable with this extra layer of fat. anyone want to do a virtual slimming club? we could do a weigh in once a week (don't have to divulge weight if you don't want to, just how much you've lost) and swap ideas for healthy meals, exercise. We could do it every Tuesday night on this thread. What do you think?

bumperlicious · 14/08/2007 07:59

ooh, hello - wow, what a sleep! what's your secret?

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/08/2007 08:05

I like the slimming club idea. I've actually put on weight over the last few weeks , but I'm trying to do Slimming World and bought lots of fresh fruit and veg yesterday.

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/08/2007 08:08

no sectret bumper....no idea why actually, she's been sleeping for longer and longer over the last couple of weeks. I think being in her own room is helping.

Charlie999 · 14/08/2007 09:27

Morning ladies

Lucky you Daisy with all that sleep! I was up at 1am cos I felt sick, 3am cos the dog wanted to go out, 4am cos DD needed a feed, 5am cos cat was getting hungry and it was light , then 6.15am the alarm went off....but my lovely DH told me to go back to sleep and then bought me up a cuppa before he went

Pissing down here as well but got to go to Sainsburys...

Welcome back Ria...

Trace - Hope you're feeling better now. how do I find you on Facebook?

Listen to you lot all worrying about your weight....I was fat before I got pg, got a lot worse (obviously) and now am still 4kg heavier than pre-pg weight - and that was a lot....probably the reason I ended up having a CS. Impossible to diet in this house....I have NO willpower (although I did give up smoking last year, so just need to motivate myself)

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/08/2007 09:38

Hi Charlie, how are you? Has the bleeding sorted itself out? I hope you're taking it easy regardless. you should do an online shop so you're not straining with a trolley or carryng heavy bags!

daisyandbabybootoo · 14/08/2007 09:40

I've been neglecting my motherly duties this morning, but kids are amusing themsekves and DD has gone back to sleep.

should I be concerned at the amount she is sleeping? she slept for 3 hours yesterday morning and four hours in the afternoon (I had to wake her up to feed her), was up for two and then slept all night Is this normal?

trace2 · 14/08/2007 09:51

Hi Guys - your pics are lovely Daisy - I daren't go onto facebook at the mo - got LOTS to do!

My bleeding has stopped now thanks. Went to docs yesterday and no ultrasound report as yet, so don't know if / what will be done. Obviously my main concern is the strength of the scar when/if I get pg again.....hopefully will hear in the next few days.

Right, off to get shopping in from the car....took ages to get round Sainsbury's as all the little old ladies stop to look at DD who smiled at them all today

I don't know what to make of the sleeping lark Daisy - we have days like that and then days of the complete opposite!

Had a text from Mytwocents today, she lost her phone in hospital and had to wait for me to get around to texting her .
She had a bit of a nightmare birth, 17 hours of labour then emergency c-section, anyway baby boy born 9th july, 8lb 9oz, name of Zephyr. They're doing fine, she hopes to rejoin us in a couple of weeks when she gets a new computer
