Is it the rent you're talking about flame?

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/08/2007 10:50

We seem to be having a tv and 'boo-boo' day today .

FlameBatfink · 23/08/2007 10:54

Sorry - rambling a bit... yup, the rent. They say we still need a guarantor - my mum worries so much about it I worry what the stress is doing to her (she has no reason to worry). Thread in legal/money going into more detail.

Joy for your day

Aaaaaarrrggghhh why won't my son eat. He's getting worse. I've just made him a cheese sandwich (1 slice of bread) he had 2 tiny bites out of it on his own then wouldn't touch it. I offered it out to him and said 'one more bite' so he did, had 2 - 3 chews on it and pulled it out of his mouth shaking his head and wouldn't touch anymore so i binned it and he's now stood at the fridge crying for a yogurt, which he isn't getting.

Its every meal time this is happening now and i know he isn't exactly wasting away but i just wish he'd eat more.

I just can't wait to go to work today cos he's driving me insane. From the second he woke up he's been pushing his luck.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/08/2007 12:47

I think it's teeth with dd Phoenix, so could it be the same for lew? We just had a lovely session of pouring water over our toast and smushing baked beans into our hair . Think we might go and have a communal bath now.

2boysmacca · 23/08/2007 12:59

Welcome to the wonderful world of toddlerhood Phoenix. It doesn't get any better

Just had a lovely bath myself. Ds2 in bed, ds watching Cars (what a surprise).

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 13:05

Yep, have to agree with Macca. His diet and fussiness will now decline until, oh, about adulthood

We've been up to the shops, but its freezing. Now back in; ds2 asleep, we've been sitting in big jumpers dpoing a phonics workbook, and some jigsaws. Real winter activities!

Got dh some boots off freecycle;collecting tomorrow He gets a shoe allowance of 2 pairs a yr from work (can choose any type as slong as toetectors), but footwear only tends to last him a coule of months as he's so heavy wearing for some reason. Am hoping these ones are in good condition!

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 13:52

Bugger. Grimmest day so far this year, and the dvd player has finally packed up.Dh is coming home an hour early today, so I'm hopping he can fix it (should be able to, seeing as its part of his job!). I'm sure it'll be my fault, whatever the problem with it

Chloe55 · 23/08/2007 15:18

PG - Oscar goes through phases like this. They last a few days then he eats well again. I find that we both seem to be much calmer if I just remove the food he doesn't eat without actually saying anything to him (I do it though hidden gritted teeth) but if I get frustrated he tends to be more defiant.

MRM and Flame, sorry about your days.

Flame - I'm just about to Paypal you and send you my address.

Phoenix · 23/08/2007 19:38

Winter activities??? It's been red hot here today

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 19:44

I know, its been sunny at Mums too Still pissing down here.

Dvd is,it seems, knackered, but he's going to give it another shot later on, so fingers crossed. And the freeview box hung for about 40 mins.Methinks there's a ghoster in my electricals today

Just bee nt ocollect some magazines off freecycle.Just up the road; got a huge box of craft/cardmaking ones (need more inspiration these days, both for me and for ds1's craft activities) and got 10 issues of Pagan Dawn while I was at it. He says he's a distributor, but gets too many to distribute; fair enough. But he's got an entire barn full somewhere!!!

And my friend is getting me a toybox for upstairs tomorrow

Jas · 23/08/2007 19:44

Phoenix.

I had to fork out for soft play this afternoon, the eather as that bad

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/08/2007 19:51

Well I reckon I had the shittest day of us all so far. Around 8 hours spent breastfeeding, 3 or 4 hours being screamed or shouted at or having my nipples pinched for no particular reason, and an hour or two where dd was actually happy - either in the bath, or eating dinner whilst watching ITNG. Notice there is no mention of a nap .

dh has just landed (but not local airport) so I've asked him to try and get chocolate on the way home, as I have none in . He's just flown back from Belgium FFS - he should have chocolate with him anyway .

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 19:52

We did soft play. I let them take all the cushions and seats off the settee and make caves.

Jas · 23/08/2007 19:57

Sounds better than my version. (£12 for 1.5 hours activity, then dash home to get a parking space so e can load up and go first thing tomorro)

css - You definitely get the shitty day prize

I have no chocolate and no ine, but am going to go and atch tv no (an hou of Stephen Fry being manic depressive, and 2 hrs of House)

Have a good eekend all, in case I don't come back tonight.

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 19:58

BTW, does anyone want Creep on dvd?

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/08/2007 20:00

I'm guessing I should know where you're going Jas?

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 20:01

Ooops, didnt see your day summary csws.Poor you.
See how much better your day was when you were with me?

Thats alot on soft play. I think m,ine is £7 or something now ds2 has to pay, and thats bad enough. They're going to the woods tomorrow, whatever the weather!

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/08/2007 21:01

dh is back. He's brought milk chocolates, instead of dark chocolate .

mustrunmore · 23/08/2007 21:19

Well, here's a welcome home for chocolate here, hint hint

FlameBatfink · 23/08/2007 21:34

Will post properly a bit later, but JAS - one of your nappies is gonna be out of stock for a very long time... can you pick another colour for me from here You can't have black, sunrise or ocean

CSWS - sky+ ITNG - many hours of peace then

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 24/08/2007 08:08

Bloody hell CSWS, that is a long time to be attached to your child - is she a bit poorly?

Gorgeous day here yesterday, unfortunately I spent most of it working and cleaning

Still no period and was in bed for 8.30pm again last night. I keep getting a bit of a stiff neck though so am guessing it must be more virus than pg.

mustrunmore · 24/08/2007 08:12

Well, I've never heard of a stiff neck being an early sign of pregnancy
