Tesco it is! Ribena is BOGOF! That has sealed the deal! I already have 4 bottles in the cupboard, do I need more? Of course I do!

Holly - if you spend over £50 - use the code XX-3FRH at the checkout and you'll get a fiver off. Even if you don't want to spend £50, make sure you're basket has more than £50 worth in it, checkout to get the discount and then go back into your basket and amend to get rid of the things you never really wanted and you'll still get the fiver off

Charlie999 · 26/07/2007 12:27

Another code for a fiver off for the next shop is XX-3LX7

Can you tell I do this every week

andiem · 26/07/2007 12:31

God Daisy your'e good I send my DS down to watch telly and go back to sleep. We didn't surface till 9 this am but had a disturbed night...that's my excuse anyway.

Dh finding me being on mat leave very hard as I am the morning one so usually sort everything out he now has to get himself up and sorted he hates it and he hates leaving me in bed oh well he has until march to get himself into a routine maybe there should be a contented big husband.......

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 13:00

morning daisy, andiem and charlie!

goos shopping tip with that code charlie.

if that book existed, i'd buy it! although i have a fairly good idea of what makes a contented husband ...

which is why mine is such a misery

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 13:00

goos? thats good - 1 hand typing

annobal · 26/07/2007 14:01

Hi everyone!

Ocado usually send me codes which are usually £5 or £10 off.

Had a bit of a disaster yesterday - after our shopping I was very sore and looks like my stitches have come apart - ouch. Hence have today stayed mostly in bed...

annobal · 26/07/2007 14:03

Daisy - I did CLBB with both of mine and they are always up by 6.30. In fact I really struggled with DS2 to get him to sleep past 5.30

sputnik · 26/07/2007 14:07

Ouch, don't overdo it Annobal!

annobal · 26/07/2007 14:14

Thanks Sputnik, how are you?

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 14:15

OW!!!! [wincing emoticon]

sputnik · 26/07/2007 14:20

I did 0 routine with DD and she sometimes doesn't get up til after 8.30 (sometimes it's 7 though).

But I'm intrigued by Gina though. The paediatrician last week advised me to wait at least 2.5 hours between feeds then no more than 20 mins each side with DS. Not exactly a routine but I am finding things a bit easier that way. If he looks hungry at other times he gets fennel or chamomile tea. He has no worries growth wise though, he's already a porker.

sputnik · 26/07/2007 14:21

I'm not bad thanks Annobal, feeling happy as I managed a 1 hour workout followed by a bath this morning

annobal · 26/07/2007 14:55

Well done you! Am very envious as am hard pressed to walk for 10 minutes at the moment! Am looking forward to getting back to the gym - even if it's just to have some time to myself!

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 15:04

very impressive! Will be going back the gym next week - but only for the services provided by the creche while I sit in the cafe!

Obviously as soon as 6 weeks are up, I'll be back working out!

andiem · 26/07/2007 15:07

ouch annobal sounds sore

can't wait to get back to swimming, at the gym we can park them in playpens in their car seats by the side of the pool so I will be doing that

loonylovegood · 26/07/2007 15:30

Exercise ! Not a fan myself, a walk to the park is about the extent of my physical exersions!

Ouch annobal! Have you had the stitches looked at? Hope they are ok!

Hi everyone, Thanks for warm welcomes, also thanks for advice Derlor. Had a good night last night but probably only because DD had a really agitated evening and wore herself out. Let's see what happens tonight! Is anybody finding that food they are eating is coming through in breast milk and making baby act differently? Am wondering if this is the case??

daisyandbabybootoo · 26/07/2007 16:09

Hello

Ouch Annobal that sounds nasty, poor you ...are you getting it checked out by the doc incase its infected?

my charming daughter...it doesn't matter where i drape the muslin, she always manages tp possett down my cleavage. And i wonder why i smell of sour milk?

My exercise so far has been a two hour walk to the park and back on Monday and jumping around the pool with DS for an hour on Sunday. I want to get back swimming but I'm stuck for a babysitter. I'm not sure what the local pool's policy on babies in car seats is.

Well I've gutted the living room (piling up all the misc bits of paperwirk to sort out later) and thrown out loads of crap (where does it all come from?) dusted, hoovered the house from top to bottom (except DDs room as she was sleeping) and done four loads of washing and started on the kitchen.

DH will think he's walked onto the set of Stepford Wives when he gets home later!

daisyandbabybootoo · 26/07/2007 16:25

I've just bought a load of size 1 nappies and wraps from the nappy lady classified ads. I'm so getting into this real nappy malarkey, but some of the trial ones I got are size 2 and she looked scary in them this morning!! She could hardly move her legs as well and looked very perplexed by it all.

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 16:26

just goes to show how MN is responsible for the demise of the domestic goddess! Good for you Daisy!

yes, finky, for sure! everything comes through (apparently they sleep better after we've had a couple of glasses of wine )

finky · 26/07/2007 16:32

Is it too early to test that out now Foxy?? Our size 1 nappies cover about 80% of DD's body Daisy. Bless her - she can hardly move her legs!

daisyandbabybootoo · 26/07/2007 16:37

I think my DD will rapidly be developing a penchant for chocolate and gin and tonic!

I pigged out on chocolate one day last week and she did seem to feed a huge amount the next day

Does anyone give their LO water? I used to give some to DS when he was FF, but am I right in thinking that BF babies don't need extra water? Or is it OK to give them some?

finky · 26/07/2007 16:42

hmmmmm - i think DD definitely does not love curries or chinese food. Bland boring things for me then! or maybe just wine and choc. Although i have heard champagney breast milk makes for a very content baby. A hard thing to test but someones got to do it!

foxybrown · 26/07/2007 16:45

I'm introducing wine slowly - just one glass a night. Trouble is, my DP drinks the rest of the farking bottle, so I have to wait for him to come home with another before I get my 'just got the kids to bed and i really need a drink' glass .

There's a whole list of things which may or may not cause wind. curry is definately on mine, as is chocolate. have successfully substituted it for jelly babies and flapjack. And Hob Nob creams, which I discovered this very afternoon. Yum!
