Hi all - quick note!

Charlee - glad you are feeling better hun - say hi to your mum too (we swapped a few emails when DS1 was in Brompton)

Sara - vanity, thy name is woman! AM dreading monday and the return of that hideous diet!

Stacey - glad sorted with the house.

Off to friends hen party tomorrow. It's over in London (Uxbridge / Hayes for Sara's ref) - really looking forward to it but will miss DS. DP has got him all day for the first time - keep your fingers crossed for us all!

OK, turned out not to be such a quick note. Have lovely weekends everybody.

saralou · 10/08/2007 19:49

oh god podglet, your not off to royales are you?????????

have a fab time

podglet · 11/08/2007 08:31

God I hope not I used to frequent that place when I worked in the three tuns in Ux. I only went coz the bar staff got in cheap i.e free. Used to go with members of the Queens Colour Squad from the RAF base... ah, those were the days.... My mum refers to her youth as BC - Before Children!!!

saralou · 11/08/2007 08:41

ooh, i used to frequent the three tuns (and most pubs in uxbridge!) quite often.... and the raf men... mmm nice uniforms!

bc indeed, i was a whole different peson!!

CharleeWeasley · 11/08/2007 08:53

Just found out my grandad is in the hospital he is deteriating rapidly, my mums with him, i don't want to see him suffering so im not going in. I think this is the end for him, he has Aspestosis and Ephasemia, his lungs have both basicly collapsed the dr's have been saying he's only got days to live for about a yr now but i think this is it.

NJ - hope youve had a great holiday (im not mad im messaging for when she gets back )

The house is starting to feel a bit more like home now after some painting and scrubbing, just feeling very miserable and tired and generally pi**ed off. sorry I dont just come here to moan, honest

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 12/08/2007 08:52

oh charlee, my thoughts are with you and all your family..... i remember when my nan died (over 2 years ago now) it was horrible!

it may be a silly question as most people's lo's wil have outgrown them by now, but is anyone intersted in an activity centre ffp (£5.99 payperdrop) its one of the sit in ones from mothercare, just want rid as have a walker too and dont have enough room to keep them both in new house!

or a baby gym (musical thingy one you can attach to cot too) for £10 inc. post?

littlemissmischief · 12/08/2007 09:35

Stacey - have you put it in the for sale thread, there are always people asking for them on there

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 12/08/2007 09:36

yeah just did and the activity station gone already! just want rid of all the clutter now, so i can buy new clutter after we've moved!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 13/08/2007 17:49

why am i here all on my own im so bored!!

just made a big mistake....walked to town, with ds in single buggy and dd walking!! how come every time i do it i swear not in the near future, its horrible, i just end up shouting at her and she ends up whinging!! arrrrgggghhh!

CharleeWeasley · 14/08/2007 08:02

Morning all

Thank-you for the kind words R.E my grandad, im am obvioulsy sad but also relived for him, he was in a great deal of pain and wanted to go, apparently he was very peacefull at the end which is nice to know. My mum and i arranged his funeral yesterday i think he would have been happy with what we are doing.

It pi**ins down with rain here and i got up at 7am as my fridge/freezer was ment to be delivered but it is still not here and they have just rung to say it could come anytime between now and 11.30! bloody delivery people!

The kids are fine, i'm having fun with Harry who is climbing on anything and everything including up the stairs at an alarming rate so it's all stairgates back up, sigh!

Harry has been off his food just latley he doesn't eat alot of solids so he's living off 4 7oz bottles a day but he is still growing fine so im not to worried.

Jacks doing ok, developing another cough so keeping my eye on him but he is still being a PITA so again im not to worried.

I have preordered DS an X-BOX 360 Elite for his birthday it should arrive a week before hand, so i am officially going to be a computer widow and i wont even be able to MN the time away as he is going to hook the bloody thing up to the p.c to play his friends online! (they only live down the rd but apparently thats not fun enough!) Ho hum .

i take it you mean for dp not ds charlee?? or ar you indoctrinating him young???

podglet · 14/08/2007 08:48

Hi all,

Charlee - so sorry to hear about your Grandad but glad (IFKWIM) that it was peaceful for him at the end. Have a hug ...

DS seems to think I am a climbing frame and won't pull up on anything else but me. When I won't let him, he throws a strop, kicking his legs against the floor I wish he would use something else though, little pinching hands hurt!

Hen night was fab - no Royales Sara thank God we went over to Ealing for tapas in the evening. I got home at midnight - dirty stop out! Wasn't looking forward to the train journey home (an hour out of london) but got looked after by 2 lovely chaps who had been to see the rugby - one was a little "tired and emotional" and fell asleep so the other one and I chatted away!

Hope everyone else is ok on this rainy day.

littlemissmischief · 14/08/2007 08:49

Charlee - I'd tell him where to stick it!

Feeling really weird at the moment, not feeling poorly just generally unwell its weird, also feeling knackered!
Just got the post, it was soaking wet! Its dp's bday nxt wed just got a certificate and badge from Alfie for him its really cute! Any ideas of what we could do on a budget?? Need ideas!

It is peeing down here too was gonna go to town for some window shopping but dont want to get soaked hmm decisions, decisions

mygirllollipop · 14/08/2007 09:37

Charlee - sorry about your grandad.

I have a baby size handprint bruise on my leg (three guesses who from).

We're supposed to be getting the keys to the new house today but then again we were supposed to be getting them yesterday too. Will be offline for a bit when we move as we can't get cable.

NJ - hope you enjoy/ed your hols.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 14/08/2007 09:49
