Thats a good title charlee and very correct, I turn my back for 2 seconds and ds is in the kitchen (we have a long hallway). Im feeling so rough today struggling to look after ds on my own but Ive tidied up his playpen so atleast he isnt getting into all sorts of trouble, his new favourite game is to pull all daddies dvds out and fling them roubd the carpet!
Nj - excuses, excuses

Staceym11 · 17/07/2007 10:25

Cool thanks charlee!

NJ your just making excuses coz you talk too much

my bro is good thanks, hes still off work coz they had to shave the bone during his op as they left it too long and some of the bone had died, anyway they pinned it with a gap to regrow the bone and it hasnt grown back just yet so hes off work and told not to ride again yet (which is severely p*ssing him off!) Hes ok tho, the internal bleeding has stopped and his lung has repaired itself so hes on the mend, hes just fed up with benefits (he quit his job the day before the accident for a new one, which obv he never got a chance to start...so no one will pay sick pay and incapacity benefit people are idiots and keep saying 'you've been employed for some time tey should pay you' 'ys but i quit the day before my accident' 'oh so what about your new employer?' 'i never started' 'oh well we have a problem'!!!!

arrrrrggghhh its just so stressful, their problem is they should be paying him and they're not!

ok ok now i was moaning about monster posts!

CharleeWeasley · 17/07/2007 10:28

Staceym11 · 17/07/2007 11:29

mygirllollipop · 17/07/2007 11:30

Staceym11 · 17/07/2007 11:35

lol i need someone to have both of mine! theyr both PITA's!!!

saralou · 17/07/2007 12:03

would love to look after your babies, but i'm knackered too! my story of sleep deprivation begins sunday morning when ryan decided to get up at 4am, i then had to go to work for a 14 hour shift got home went to bed, only to get up at 5 am for another shift, although only for 8hours, both shifts were the shifts sent from hell (oh how the nhs sucks!) and then last night we had thunderstorms which scared poor ds1, who then refused to go back to bed and screamed until he woke ryan up! then ryan decided he wouldn't go back to sleep either

i am loving the new threadand its title... thanks charlee!

Staceym11 · 17/07/2007 12:06

why you going out at midnight? sounds mad to me!

oh and stop being smug or il come give you my child and see how you like it!

it doesnt matter how much ds eats (usually mroe than dd) he is stil a nightmare at night atm! arrrggghhh!

podglet · 17/07/2007 13:02

I bet I know where Charlee's going - she's off to buy Harry Potter!!!

Love the new thread title, DS has just been in the bathroom (in a flat so not far away) singing to the radiator - strange boy

Ds is sleeping really well (sorry Stacey and mygirl and Saralou) he goes down at 7, occaisionally wakes up at 5 for a quick bottle and then is up between 6.30 and 7. He is napping less in the day though. I however am not sleeping, DP's snoring is awful and I just can't seem to settle.

Have had such a row with Debenhams today - I ordered a dress from them coz they didn't have my size in store, it arrived with a broken zip, so I took it into the store to be mended, 2 weeks later I went back to the store, to be told the dress had been back a week (no phone call). I checked the dress over and it had a great big make up mark on the front I demanded they dry clean it (it is dry clean over and I wasn't going to try and get the mark out) and they eventually agreed last friday. The girl was supposed to call Friday pm to tell me when the dress would be back and didn't. I went in on Saturday to be told she was on a day off. She rang yesterday to say the dress would be back yesterday pm so I arranged to go in 1st thing this morning to pick it up. I arrived this morning to be told that the dry cleaners had rung yesterday to say it wouldn't be ready until this afternoon . I have now demanded they refund my bus fares and my delivery charge, which they have agreed to. I will also be requesting the Head office address / number to complain too, but only once I have the dress safely back. Sorry to rant but I need the dress for Saturday and I am now v irritated!

AlfieJacksmummy · 17/07/2007 13:06

Oh is harry potter out today!!
Podglet - what a nightmare for you and I dont mean this in a horrible way but im glad its not just me, things like that happen to me all the time and I think im cursed.
Ds goes to sleep abut 8-8.30 and sleeps to abut 7 so im quite happy with that, however my dp nores really bad too thats why I think Alfie will prefer to be in his own room (think I might join him!!)

saralou · 17/07/2007 13:56

if dp's snore, grab nose and shake head ... wakes them up a treat! then they have trouble getting back to sleep due to being attacked and know how you feel!

i'm a bitch when i'm tired!!

NatalieJane · 18/07/2007 09:09

Bloody hell, remind me never to mess with you Sara!!

Thanks for new thread Charlee
Stacey, it sounds like he is on the mend, what a PITA with the job situation though?

I will also be joining the sleepless club, G isn't too bad he only wakes up once, but he makes so much noise in his sleep I wake up every 10 minutes - or so it feels like it, must admit though because I wake up, turn over and go back to sleep it doesn't make me too tired in the mornings.

DS breaks up for the summer tomorrow lunch time, who wants to put money on his loving grandma coming and picking him up in their new car and taking him out for a day even just once over the summer, when she knows he is stuck in with me all the time? No one? Didn't think so..... GRRRRRRRRR.

Right I am off before I moan again!! And before I fill my gigantic screen with words....!!! Can't blame a girl for trying to talk her way out of talking too much!! LOL

AlfieJacksmummy · 18/07/2007 09:10

pmsl - saralou, I told my dp that I was going to try it and he said 'I wont hve any trouble getting back to sleep'
Feeling slightly better to0day but still feeling rough, dp says he likes my new husky voice, think I might do chatlines for a bit of extra money!

Staceym11 · 18/07/2007 09:14

well no better on the sleeping front tonight, not doing anything today now, just got no energy!

saralou · 18/07/2007 09:49

were a sleepless bunch! we went to see the latest harry potter film last night, didn't get home till 11.30, was 1 am before we went to bed, ryan thought he'd wake up every hour, then did a BIG poo at 5.30 (which exploded everywhere) this morning and have been up ever since!!

honestly i only ever do that to dp when i'm driven to it and i can't bare the snoring a minute longer if he'd just let me fall asleep first their wouldn't be a problem... that man can snore whichever side he lays on!

AlfieJacksmummy · 18/07/2007 09:55

Ah bless all you sleepless mummies. Alfie went to sleep about 8.30 last night and slept till 8.30 this morning, but before you think im being smug, i hardly slept cos of this damn cold!!!
Im the same Saralou, if I go to sleep first im usually ok although he does wake ds up as well tho!

mygirllollipop · 18/07/2007 09:57

If it's not one it's the other! After giving DD4 calpol (runny nose, sore throat), it was DD3 up all night. She normally has daddy on a night as I deal with DD4, but last night she wanted me, screamed blue murder until she was lying on top of me, DD4 was awake at this point, wanting fed, they were up for half hour then fell asleep at which point I was wide awake and DH was in a huff sleeping on the floor! (DD3 and 4 in our bed). Had a really dry mouth and woke up to a lovely sore throat. Sigh.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 18/07/2007 10:13

right i will be asuming this persona again until my children decide that sleep is good!

NatalieJane · 18/07/2007 13:40

Awww I feel all good inside, it is my sisters 21st on Sunday, really wanted to go and see her (and enjoy the piss up!!) but can't with the kids and DH is working over the weekend, but I have just brought her the most stunning pair of earrings I have ever seen, nearly got myself a pair as well but DH would have hit the roof, they are white gold square studs with a diamond in the middle of the square, they are beautiful, very classic and non-fussy, I want some, my god she had better not like them and give them to me And, (BTW, I have no idea why I am telling you this next bit) I got her this card from me and DH on the front it says something like, 'Now you are 21 there will be more candles on your cake, so just in case....' then inside it says 'we got the firemen in!!!' and there is a picture of a hunky fireman with no clothes on with a hose pipe that spins around in just the right place, IYKWIM?!! and the song "You can leave your hat on" comes on, it is fantastic Made me giggle anyway!!

I have decided that schools are complete rip off merchants, why don't they ever have just one teacher to a class now, last year he had 3, this year he has 2, next year he has 3 again, I have just spent about £30 on pressies and cards and gift bags and everything else you have to get for them, bloody rip off.

Anyway, I am a gonner, xxx Oh I forgot, we got the tickets for our hols today, it is getting very exciting

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 18/07/2007 16:57

NJ you should try baking the teachers muffins or similar, nice and tasty quite cheap and you get some yourself for your effort!!
