nappyzone · 26/07/2007 21:50

Hello i was looking for the Nov babies but for some reason possibly severe sleep deprivation was looking for nov 07 not 06 - so here i am - im mother of 2 aged 4 (starting school sept) and 8/9 months ds who is crawling and whining and following me about whining so i cant escape - he had 2 teeth but from sat am until now has managed to sprout another 5!!! i kid you not - i swear he will have his molars by august lol! I shuld have slept but too am a sorry to say harry fan and now i have finished the book i can go to bed to sleep although i find myself mumsnetting again! Hello all anyway. Oh worse still i have a defo date to return to work - sept - just after the stress of dd starting school arghh!

mygirllollipop · 27/07/2007 09:17

Welcome nappyzone - I keep giving DD4's DOB as 2007, I done the same with DD3 made her born a year later (before that month had even arrived!).
AJM - how is your house/s?
We got DD4 her first pair of shoes yesterday in an effort to make her feet more normal (she still stands on the sides of her feet sometimes).

NatalieJane · 27/07/2007 10:43

Morning all Two weeks today at this time we will be at the airport, and the logistics of getting three suitcases, a buggy, hand luggage a 5 year old and an 8 month old, and possibly the travel cot all in one piece through check in will be over No idea how we are going to do it but who cares? LOL

Welcome Nappyzone I can never decide if all the teeth coming through at once is better for the baby or worse, it saves dragging it all out for them but it must bloody hurt to have that many coming through, thinking back to my wisdom teeth coming through, I don't think I'd have lived through it if more than one was on the move at once

AJM has been quiet, hopefully, her house/s were both OK and she is busy moving, fingers crossed.

Stacey, has anything been decided about the job/moving?

AlfieJacksmummy · 27/07/2007 14:16

Hi, im, still here. Just back home for a fleeting visit, sorry i havent read your posts. We are still planned to move monday so just come up to do some packing, luckily the waters have gone down alot and our road is no longer flooded but we have no running water for possibly 2 weeks so we are still staying at mums, they have put bowsers at the ends of roads but they are always empty with people being greedy, there is none in the shops and the army are about giving some out but you have to be at the right place, right time!
Hope all is ok x

CharleeWeasley · 27/07/2007 18:07

Hi all

I have been quite bust with the kids so i haven't had time to keep up with all the posts.

Welcome to our Newbie

Im very jelous of everyone going on holiday, our isn't book untill October.

On a not so nice note.
My mum got told yesterday that she has to have her 3rd heart operation. It's very risky but they said if she doesn't have it done she wont live longer than 6 months so she has no choice Im so scared but trying to be strong for her.

I am getting a bit slack at posting latley but do forgive me i am trying to help the family out as much as i can to make things easier for my mum and trying to hurry the council into moving us so i can be closer and so we can get jack out of this house of horrors!

I hope everyone is ok. xxx

Mygirl i will emial you if i still have your address!

morning girls...

get this for a selfish b***d... on my diet, which is really hard and miserable and taking lots of will power/self control (of course at work yesterday their was 2 boxes of chocolates, jaffa cakes and crisps that someone had given to us and i had cottage cheese for my lunch.. grrr) and that man orders a dominoes pizza for his dinner. then his card was refused so asked me to bloody pay!! i did not!! arse!!! i think thats the meanest thing any one could do! and he makes me out to be the bitch for refusing to pay and making him walk to the cashpoint instead!!!!aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ok rant over!!

on a happier note i am on the last day of the diet today (yay i can eat food tomorrow!!) and so far i've lost 5lbs in 2 days!! pleased with that!!

saralou · 28/07/2007 10:25

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 29/07/2007 12:51

hello everyone. well dh hasnt yet spoken money, but if we get the 26k that hes on now (which he should otherwise the move isnt worth it at all!) then we can get a mortgage for 80k, we've got a 20k deposit from this place. so thats 100k for a house which is more than enough!

i'm getting very excited now, keep looking at houses and schools etc! dh is talking to the bloke tomorrow about it all and discussing money. iv got to ring the housing association to find out how we go about selling this place (they should buy it straight back as we've only been here a year) and ring the mortgage company and find out about a mortgage in principal, then we can start looking properly for a house and the ball should be rolling! it'l prob take till mid sept but thats soon enough for me, all i gotta do now is find madam a pre-school!

poor ds has got 2 teeth coming through and a sore throat (although thats quite a blessing as when he screams no noise comes out, )

ho hum!

podglet · 29/07/2007 20:20

Wow, how exciting Stacey, Nottingham is lovely. Fingers crossed for you. Poor old DS though, hope he feels better soon!

Sara, pleeeaase can I have a copy of that 3 day diet thingy? I am desperate to wear this blinking dress I have bought for my friends wedding in Sept. Can you email it to me?

DS is beginning to pull himself up now and is very pleased with himself

Charlee - really sorry to hear about your mum, hope the op goes well. Thinking of you all.

AJM - good luck for tomorrow - hope you emerge from the packing boxes soon!

NJ - mmmm doughnuts
