You said you were going away for the weekend for a break, not to have a baby! Congratulations

Is it too early to put ds2 to bed? He has said 'No' to everything today and even said to my friends 6 month old, 'No, Naughty"!!! I'm ready to throttle him and I still have bathtime to do......

FlameDelacour · 23/07/2007 17:53

Feeling like hell. Psycho wants me to go to the GP, still losing weight and now having anxiety attacks lots

CSWS - this'll make you smile. DD was telling Gran about how she is going to stay with mummy's friend, and they have a magic tv

OP posts:
Jas · 23/07/2007 18:03

Listen to Psycho.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/07/2007 18:15

Yes listen to psycho.
What no mention of the playhouse?!

We seem to be light on details for the picnic - off to check the thread for any updates.

Jas · 23/07/2007 18:25

Didn't I mention being pregnant then, macca?

All 5 of us slept in the (3 man) tent on Saturday. I'm still tired!

We had a good time, and 27 of the family managed to get together for a meal so worth the very long drive. It wasn't even too wet.

ChasingSquirrels · 23/07/2007 18:25

Hi all, I don't think I have been on this thead at all, I just can't keep up with the daily chat type stuff, so I am going to bow out. I will still be on MN, dipping into active convos etc, so will probably see you all from time to time.

I would like to say a huge thank you for the welcome I was given and for including me in your established post-natal club.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/07/2007 18:39

Awwww CS . Will prob see you on bf threads, but you're welcome back here anytime .

Jas - just put this on wrong thread....
Just twigged Jas - are those the pics that were stuck in the phone which you thought you'd never get off?

How was camping? (but you've answered this one now)

FlameDelacour · 23/07/2007 18:57

Awwwwwwwwwwww CS

CS You can always just drop in on us when you want a chat. You don't have to say goodbye.

Frizbe · 23/07/2007 21:24

CS indeed, your always welcome

Flame, go to the Docs (frizbe puts on stern voice )

Jas, great photos

Kel, Happy Birthday!!

Hi everyone else to be honest, with there not being that much on here to read through, since thursday, I was expecting to find a new thread somewhere!! or have you all been using facebook? or is it msn??

Had a not too wet weekend in Wales, in the end anyway, just made it in time really, as I left in the morning and got down the M5/M50 just as it started really bucketing it, by the time the 1st lot of northern players arrived 4 hrs after me, they we're declaring the M50 a no go zone, and the next arrivals 2hrs after them, confirmed it had been shut Then people started arriving from Oxford way saying the M5 was shut.....and you know the rest of the mess. Dh took 12.5hrs to get to Wales in the end, he went from Leeds M1, A38, M42, sat in a jam, I called him and said had heard road closed, so he did M6/M1/M25/M4 and got to site at 01.30am, that's one hell of a school run still at least he made it eh, some of our crew spent the night in the M5 jam, and bless em, they still carried onto our game instead of going home nutters the lot of them

Jas · 23/07/2007 23:30

Glad your weekend went ok Frizbe.

Happy belated birthdayKel.

csws - plans this week. Work tomorrow and thursday am, cinema (cheap daytime showing of kids films) possibly Friday, Forest looking at bugs and butterflies Wednesday. Really got nothing interesting on this week, but I am shattered after the weekend.

Oh yes - PWP. I won't pay for a season ticket, but I don't pay full price to get in, I only go when I have tesco vouchers to spend. It would be worth having a season ticket if you have a few people to go with. I go with my friends and stay til it shuts, and all the children play in the adventure parks. Mine are not really interested in the animals any more, and it takes about 1/2 hour to go round.
If I was on my own I would struggle to make it last all day.

He had ana nnual para
dise pass for his 1st birthday, and it wasz £50 then, os I supose it hasnr actually gone up that much. It is a hug amount of money, but not relative to the price of getting in once IYSWIM. And also it means you can pop in for half an hour at a time etc and its not wasting money. Dont forget its got the paddling pool for hot days too, which is really nice.

Jas, those photos are sooo cute, esp the grumpy face first one! We still have some leaving hosp ones undeveloped on the funflash, and some video I still havent seen.

Jas · 24/07/2007 07:50

Did you have some help there mrm?

pwp also has a new ball pool bit if it isn't so nice, but the tea/coffee in it cost more than outside.
If I could count on having a car, I would get one, but if I'm relying on lifts I don't go enough to get my moneys worth.

You could all come to me on Friday if you want, but I'm broke and really don't want to go out.

Just re-read your message mrm and realise Friday is no good for you..

I'm free most of next week

Are you going to the picnic on Sunday? No definite arrangements have been made.

FlameDelacour · 24/07/2007 08:00

You lot had better come to the picnic - I have told B that the big girls are coming

You don't want to make a small child cry now do you??

OP posts:
Jas · 24/07/2007 08:08

I'll be there. But there are no times/places arranged to meet up yet.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/07/2007 08:23

Worst case we can just have our own picnic! I'll email QV and see if I can find out what's going on.

You're coming on Friday aren't you flame?

Have managed to find something for every day this week except tomorrow so far . There's a small toddler group this morning, then Woodside this afternoon. Which forest are going to tomorrow Jas?

Am sending off for some days out vouchers from Tesco.

Went to a baby gym yesterday in an actual gymnastics gym - was cool!

FlameDelacour · 24/07/2007 08:28

Nooooooooooo... Saturday. Friday next week.

Is that ok?

(We really should try proper planning one day...) Was planning to come on Saturday and go on Monday, then come back again alone the next Friday, and go on the Sunday.

OP posts:
Jas · 24/07/2007 08:35

I've just put up a suggested plan for Saturday. Will QV mind me taking over?

Use your day out voucher to get in to PWP, and if you like it, you can upgrade it to a season ticket I think. Tell me when you are going and I may be able to meet you there.
