Hi Girls

Happy Birthday to Alex !!

Happy birthday yesterday too to Ella and Zack!

Us ? re your holiday, what a bummer. Hope Zack was well enough to enjoy his birthday.

KZ ? what fab pics of Roshi and Chili aaaaaaawww! Love the ones of them together. Great that DS got on so well at the new nursery, must be a big relief.

Snap on the Antelop highchair, and the pelican bib (Emma?s is a Tommy Tippee) ? they are both fab aren?t they.

Hi Wallace and Sleep

Ceebee ? hope Josh is better now, poor wee man

Annie ? enjoy Harry

Thanks again for Emma?s birthday wishes - had a good (though slightly gin and rain-soaked!) day on Sunday, she opened most of her presents then, and SIL and BIL came over. She had a great time and loads of attention ? was on good form but got a bit overtired of course towards the end. Her actual birthday was quite quiet, we were both working so she was at nursery all day, but they did her a birthday card (which she painted the cover of!), and she had a candle in her sausage and mash when she got home (then promptly burst into tears, bless).

Better get on, have good evenings all xxx

Hi all

Happy Birthday to Alexandra

And happy belated birthdays too to Ella, Emma and Zack!

And happy birthdays for tomorrow for Kayley, Abbey and Amelia!!!

BIG Impy hugs to all the birthday babes. Hope you have and had great days.

Fab pix KZ - it's lovely to see the development of the little queen. I don't remember seeing pix of Chili before - he is quite the handsome little chap too, ain't he?!

Sorry you're going through bad memories Twinkle - didn't realise you had such a tough time, poor thing. Hope seeing the consultant helps.

Well my boy has turned into quite the little heart breaker. Apparently he was holding hands with one of his little girl friends at the nursery and then, when she saw it was time for him to leave for the day, she started crying!!! Bless. We're now calling him Don Juan! No major developmental breakthroughs - no cart wheeling or reciting Shakespeare yet - still lots of cruising around furniture and babbling away about who knows what! I loves it!

Well night ladies. Impy xxx

Ceebee74 · 17/07/2007 20:53

Happy Birthday today to Alexandra and Happy Birthday for tomorrow to the 3 girls - Kayley, Amelia and Abbey

Impy - holding hands - how cute. The only interaction I know Josh had with a girl is a report in the accident book because she bashed him over the head with a toy phone - he obviously needs to work on his chat up lines!

First - glad Emma had a good day - what a lovely thing for the nursery to do.

Wallace - good to hear from you - hope the new house is fab.

Josh has improved a lot today but still will not touch any food - don't know whether it hurts his gums? Had to give him an extra bottle of milk this afternoon as that is the only thing that he will eat.

Thanks for all the messages today. Alex had a wonderful day, we went for a coffee with my mum, the lunch with my dad as well, then we came home to wake up dh. We opened pressies, had some birthday cake and then .......
......... > ....
............. dd took 3 steps all on her own !!!!! boy was she pleased with herself .

Better try to put her down , she's fallen fast asleep in my arms. All those steps must have worn her out !!

CB - Josh looks pleased as punch with his presents.

Happy Birthday to Alexandra! (who does she belong to though? )

Impy - if your Ryan is Don Juan then Aidan is Casanova lol. He loves the girls at nursery (but unfortunately they don't always feel the same way). Apparently he and a little girl were sitting in their highchairs blowing kisses at each other over lunch the other week. He does tend to get a little over enthusiastic though, and I think he's confused between French and Glasgow kisses at the moment (evidenced by the red mark on said little girl's head after they spent time in the ball pool together).

Aidan is 21 1/2 pounds according to our scales today so he's gaining nicely again. Will probably go for one more official weigh in and then they can butt out and mind their own.

Happy Birthday to Kayley, Amelia and Abbey for tomorrow!!

Beadmum · 17/07/2007 23:34

im so sorry im late with the birthday wishes

happy belated Birthday to emma, zack & ella for yesterday, Happy Birthday to Alex for today.

ceebee - josh looks very pleased with his gifts

kz - gorgeous photos, what beautiful children you have

glad all partys went well at the weekend.

dh and i were trying to decide on holiday and were going to take dd to greece/spain but now my mum is going to look after dd and dh and i are going to paris. struggled with the idea for a bit and still feel a bit guilty and worried people will think im selfish but thinking of it that dd will not know any different at this age, is this true or am i just trying to convince myself?

charlotte is cruising round all the furniture now but not brave enough yet to stand alone so no unaided steps for a while i think.

Better get off to bed as dd is getting into a habit of waking at 6am these days

Happy Birthday to kayley, amelia & abbey for tomorrow xx

TheGoddessBlossom · 18/07/2007 13:25

HAPPY BIRTHDYA TO KAYLEY AMELIA AND ABBEY!! So exciting all thse birthdays. And congrats to Alex for her steps!

CB - Josh looks adorable with his birthday pressies!

BeadMum - she will not remember you went away without her - why not go? You'll have a lovely time, and who better to look after her than your Mum?

KZ - wow Roshi's speech is amazing. I can't even get Toby to wind his hands round and roung to that song, never mind sing it...Poor little mites in the hospital, god that must be so hard...glad Roshi's ulcer is healing well...

I am already planning H's 3rd birthday party in September, as well as Toby's christening/1st in August. AND.....drumroll....made fish cakes for the boys from scratch yesterday...this cooking malarkey is a piece of piss.....

Met a woman in the playground yesterday who had three daughters of 3, 2 and 11 months.....can you imagine? She looked to be coping supremely well though, even when the 3 year old through a humdinger of a tantrum about not being allowed in the sandpit....not that I was watching or listening in you understand.... I'm such a nosy cow....or people watcher as I prefer to call it.....

blimey has a new thread started that you haven't told me about? Where is everyone???

Twinklemegan · 18/07/2007 21:47

I've been wondering that myself Bloss - it's so quiet today!

kbaby · 18/07/2007 22:25

Kayzed- I love the pics. She is beautiful.
And ceebee- he looks as if hes having fun with those pressies

On the subject of our house move. I finally said to DH that he could go for it on the condition that the savings stay in the savings acc however, weve put 1 offer in which has been declined and we will put another one in but its not the asking price and the estate agent said she will only accept the asking price. In my opinion its not worth it so after all my tooing and frooing we prob wont move after.

Blos- still doubt ill make the meet up. Dh wont come as he thinks were all odd and its too far to do in one day with 2 dc. Ill be meeting you all and possibly having a nervous breakdown at the same time.
Pavlov- bless your DD.

Ds is now saying ?look? he says it while pointing like a maniac. He also did a poo in his paddling pool today much against DD?s disgust. Shes never moved so quick

Happy Birthday To Junior!! Hope you have a fab day Prettymum.

Belated Happy Birthdays to all the babies i have missed so far

Not sure what to do about the dd's birthdays yet.Eilidh is on the 1st and Niamh is the 7th of August so will probably just have them on the same day.Eilidh is too young to notice and Niamh won't mind as long as she gets candles to blow out and some presents.

Ds1 will be away to his adventure camp holiday thingy so he will miss the birthdays. He's gutted poor thing. He has an interview for McD's next Wednesday so fingers crossed he gets a job.He is staying on for 5th year at school but is desperate to work for loads of cash lol.Be nice not to have t bankroll him i tell you.

I have a dad and his little boy coming Saturday morning to do contracts for a before and after school place starting in August. All of my info sheets/permission slips etc were on the old PC whch died and i hadn't backed them up so will have to work on that today at least to get them done.

My friend is through on Saturday also and we are doing lunch and going to the Bryan Adams concert WooHoo.Can't wait!!!

Better go start the bloody paperwork i suppose.

Have a good day allxxx

TheGoddessBlossom · 19/07/2007 09:33

Happy Birthday Junior! Have a great day with him PrettyMum.

Got root canal at 12.10 today with, if recent dentist trips are anything to go by, little to no anaesthetic Wish me luck.

On a brighter note..................................my sister is pregnant again! The one who was pregnant at the same time as us lot last year!! And when I heard I didn't feel remotely broody, which was a good thing I think. Mind you if she had said she was having her third it might have been different....I am really torn at the moment. Dh says it's up to me.....went out with a friend yesterday who is pregnant with her third, she is getting a bit nervous about it tbh. And she can afford a housekeeper so god knows how I'd manage....mind you people do don't they? Algach what do you think? ARRRGGHHH.....

cor that was a self obssessed ramble....

Have a great time at Bryan Adams Algach!

xx

agalch · 19/07/2007 09:39

Bloss good luck with the root canal,i had one done bout 6/7 weeks ago i think it was. Just scream that you are not numb enough.Wait at least 10 mins after they numb you up and don't let the dentist start until you are ready(((hugs))).I am terrified of the dentist so i know how you feelxx

I manage fine with 4 dc i have to say.But i have 2 much older boys then a huge gap so not the best person to ask maybe lol. I don't have a housekeeper(i wish)or a cleaner(am looking for one tho) and i childmind full time too.If i can do it you could too!!!

AnnieOleHouseElf · 19/07/2007 10:57

Morning Girls!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNIOR!!!!!!!!

And Happy Birthday for yesterday to Amelia and Abbey and Thomas

And of course to my own gorgeous girl
We had a nice day, marred only by the presence of the ILs, but the babies seemed to like them... Most of Kayley's presents were Joey-aimed, but she did get some nice clothes, and a pink monkey! We went to the pub for lunch, sat outside in the sun, then it rained, so we skuttled inside. Cake and champagne later at home then.
Kayley's favourite thing at the moment is pushing Joey's potty around (the aforementioned tossed-in-the-air one), so it's still not being used for what it's meant for.
Joey gave her a bubble blower which he opened himself and played with himself.

Bloss, at you thinking of a third! Let us know what/when/if you decide. All I can say is it's great having them close together, though I wouldn't know about having them far apart, and I've only got the two. Can't be any harder can it?????? Good luck at the dentist NOT
And Congrats to your sister!!

Harry Potter was really good! Not as good as the book, of course as they have to leave out loads, but I really enjoyed it. Am now reading the Half Blood Prince, leading up to the new one... can't wait to know what happens!!! I'm avoiding all those threads though, as I don't want to spoil it. Though I do keep making MrsWeasley's coffee...

Right I am rambling now. Best go and do the work I came in to do!!
Have a good day girls!!

Annie

Yes KZ, if i suffered like you did with the pukes there is no way on this planet I would even consider it. Have never puked in pregnancy though, felt mildy hungover for a week with both and that's it. Actually have enjoyed both my pregnancies, it's the getting them out bit I suck at....would deffo go for a c-section if I did have another though.

As you say Annie it can't get any harder - Algach, no you don't have a housekeeper, but you do seem to have a dreamy DH who helps out loads. I would have to accept the status quo on the "not much help from DH" front if we had another, but I think I could cope - I keep thinking yes, in the short term it puts you back two years on the nappies, early mornings, non-walking child front, but long term how nice to have three kids......I really don't know, I change my mind every day....

root canal turned into five injections which didn't work and a patch up filling job. Hopefully it will do....mouth hurts, ouch. Trying to think of soft things to eat, and have just eaten a cheese and vegemite sandwich on one side of my mouth....

TheGoddessBlossom · 19/07/2007 16:29

dentist said I am one of only two people in his 20 year career he has failed to get numb, the other being a 25 stone guy in SA whose gums were too wide for his needles.... a dubious claim to fame methinks....
