thanks guys! lovely other bubbas too. I love Charlie's Liverpool FC bodysuit, GMM - Bethan has a Guns N' Roses one which some friends bought for her - can't wait for her to grow into it.

Sorry my pics made you cry, Pesha! We watched a bit of the Genesis concert too. Funny what music brings your childhood back - for me it's stuff like Vangelis (my parents must have bought the album when Chariots of Fire was released), which gets the ol' tears prickling every time when I hear it now.

lazyemma · 17/06/2007 10:00

Also, tried to get Bethan to do a handprint on the father's day card I bought for her to give to R. Smeared eyeshadow all over her hand but it wouldn't transfer to the card! So now she has one green hand and I've had to draw round it on the card instead, which looks a bit rubbish. Bah.

elkiedee · 17/06/2007 10:16

Has anyone else done that survey on their child's nursery? What bizarre questions! I have a huge number of books in what will be Danny's room, that won't fit on my 40 bookshelves, that I have to sort out to put in storage first, but I haven't put that on the survey.

mammyjo · 17/06/2007 10:54

Morning all. Thanks to all for sharing your pictures, they are all gorgeous. April thread babies have obviously inherited a beautiful gene from somewhere!
Had a really nice meal out last night with dh. The food was fantastic and we just chatted and relaxed. Shame he is back to his old self again this morning. He told me that he hates it when F cries and he just loses his temper quickly. I just said that he needs to get a grip and calm down. I certainly dont like the noise of her crying but you just have to deal with it dont you? Bloody men. He has gone off with ds to a boat show in a big park near here. I was meant to take F too but the weather is not great and I dont fancy sitting under a tree to feed F in the rain thankyou very much. He is not happy with me for that either!!

CD, hats off to you with your 10oz! I got a medela electric pump a couple of weeks ago and have only just started to use it. Its very good, but I still only managed 2oz in 2 separate attempts!! You really are super boobs!
If I express two or three small amounts in 24 hours, can I combine them into one bag for the freezer? Also, when would you express? I know this sounds stupid, but F tends to only take one boob per feed. I would be afraid to express off the other at the same time in case there wasnt enough for the next feed IYKWIM. Any tips greatfully received.

Have a good day everyone xxx

mammyjo · 17/06/2007 10:55

Elkie, what survey?

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 11:07

OMG GMM WHERE DID YOU GET THAT VEST I want one for my LO before DH tries to make her a Fulham fan!

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 11:19

Morning all...lovely pics (to everyone who linked on the thread - haven't viewed the emailed ones yet but sure they are lovely too)

Well off shopping in a mo (need to go to a supermarket today, didn't get chance yesterday). Going out for a meal this evening to a Harvester for Father's day.

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 11:54

Have just looked at all the emailed pics and they are fab.

Octo - I think Erin took a bit of a fancy to Ernie, she did a huge smile when she saw him .

elkiedee · 17/06/2007 12:37

mammyjo, there's an ad thing coming up when I look at threads on mumsnet, it says "Pregnant or New mum? enter into draw to win £250" and I had a look at the questions - how much I'd overspent on nursery, and whether I would put antique furniture or football memorabilia, or other strange things, in the "nursery". I just thought some of the questions were slightly bizarre, but it doesn't come up now when I click the ad, presumably as I've already answered questions.

The 8 month old baby girl next to Danny in the weigh in room at the health centre on Friday morning obviously took a fancy to Danny, she leaned over and put her hand on his face and tried to steal his used wipes (ugh).

Looks like my milk really is drying up now, just had a miserable failure with expressing - usually I get 20 to 30 ml (ie not much) and 30 ml = 1 oz, this morning it was rather less, and only from one side. Going to try and see if I can get any of into a bottle with a teat and down Danny now as he's about due for a next formula feed, and then have a bath, will try again if I get time but have been offered a lift to IKEA which needs to fit in before closing time, and dp may well get annoyed if I start trying to push him to chase his tail around too.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 17/06/2007 12:40

Afternoon all.

Lovely pics of the babes! We have lost our camera, and are awaiting a new one, so will get some up to date ones soon.

Mammyjo, glad you had a good evening, although sorry things are a bit pants today with dh.

Ellie, hope you had a fab night.

CD, when do you ever stop??!!

Totally forgoten everything else!!

Had a good evening - yummy curry and a few glasses of red wine. Went to bed late and let dh lie in, so feel pretty knackered. K slept ok but is in a shit mood today! Seems starving hungry all the time. Necked 6 ounces 2 hours ago fgs!

Better go, as need to wander around with screaming baby!1

mammyjo · 17/06/2007 12:51

Hi SOKL, glad you had a good evening. Am hoping dh will be in a better frame of mind when he gets back! He just seems so bloody miserable lately and its driving me mad!

Elkie, see what you mean about that survey. Bit strange. I dont have any football memorabilia in dd's room or in the entire house for that matter!

Hey Ellie, how was your evening?

elkiedee · 17/06/2007 13:08

aaaaarrrrgh! men are bastards. I asked Mike to sterilise breast pump stuff (not anything else) while I had my bath. He toook the few drops of expressed milk which I'd carefully put into a Milton sterilised bottle with a Milton sterilised teat (having waited 15 minutes for them to be sterile after washing up and putting in solution) and threw them away. Instead of an apology I get a load of abuse, he ignores the fact that baby has woken up and started crying while he's shouting at me, it's only when I answer back he suddenly notices. Most of the time he's very good, ok, but yesterday afternoon he was a total pig and this morning he hasn't actually helped me that much, he's done very little without being asked, I notice baby's still screaming upstairs.

I'm sick of living with someone who threatens to end our relationship every time we have the slightest disagreeement, who seems to think that doing a lot of practical things justifies a huge amount of emotional crap etc etc. I can't go out to IKEA in this state, and I can't really say to a mutual friend that I can't get ready because he's being such a tosser.

EllieK · 17/06/2007 13:09

good, bumped into a lovely lady that was my mentor when i was at school (i was a straight A student but when mum left i lost focus, they gave me a mentor to encourage me), we kept in contact but i'm rubbish and hadn't responded to her cards etc.

Elkie
maybe getting out of the house would be a good thing, even if it does mean pretending all is ok for a short while?

Afternoon, all 3 girls asleep and I am having a cuppa!! Yey! Have been feeling a bit this morning due to tiredness; but perking up a bit now - although feel a bit anxious that DH is back to work tomrorow after a week off; but I know it will be fine once I stop panicing. I am soooo silly!!!!!

I am just about to send out some pics (email) of my girlies & of me at the Wedding wearing "the outfit!!" Thought I should join in all the "boasting" that has been going on recently!! Everyone's children are soooo gorgeous!

How is everyone doing today? Once girls wake up we're off out to the park for a little while with some friends, then home, tea, bath, bed & we'll do the last coat on the walls in the spare room - Then it'll be all ready for Ellie & Joe!!

EllieK · 17/06/2007 13:12

Awwww, elkie hon!

{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Getting out of the house for a couple of hours & spending all of DH's cash in Ikea sounds like just what you need to do right now - So go do it!! Your friend will understand if you're in a bit of a moody - we all know what pigs men can be!!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 17/06/2007 13:17

You're a star ellie - have already sent out my email though, so I'll just see if anyone emails me who didn't get my pics .....
