AngeG · 16/06/2007 15:17

Afternoon Ladies,

Sorry meant to get on after I fowarded smole's email earlier to say I had sent it.

SOKL - Hope your weekend without B is ok! Bet it's a bit strange

CD - Hooray...for someone having older two DDs, hope P settles so you can get some painting done. Hope you and DH ok.

Eddas I agree with you, you should make an effort and go out

Lucewheel - I don't envy you the unpacking task. Don't over do it.

Bugmum - Definitely get someone else to do the bottles...We've used Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Izzy seems ok with them.

Hello everyone else

Katy44 · 16/06/2007 15:31

Hi everyone,
AngeG & Ellie thanks for forwarding on the pics of Jesse. He is very cute, but I have to say probably still a little small to be riding that bike
Well we spent all of this morning at the hospital waiting for T's blood test. He finally got examined by 2 paediatricians who said if he was jaundiced it was extremely slight (the yellow had pretty much gone today) and so they wouldn't do a blood test as even if it revealed he was jaundiced they wouldn't actually treat it as he's healthy and alert in general (so it must be very slight). I've just got to keep an eye on it.
After 2 or 3 days of not sleeping at all during the day and waking very frequently at night he's spent this afternoon asleep so I'm hoping this is a turning point and I might get some sleep tonight. I thought things had been going pretty well so far but since yesterday afternoon I've been crying with axhaustion and almost fell asleep sitting up in the waiting room this morning!
Sorry for such a self obsessed post, very of those of you whose LOs slept through the night last night, maybe the psychic vibes just haven't quite reached him yet, please can you get them to focus!!

EllieK · 16/06/2007 16:08

that was rather premature Katy, I've only just sent them

Oh yes, sorry I got them from AngeG and she asked you to forward them on to anyone not on her list.
Have had an hours sleep and am feeling less brain dead now! He's been asleep most of the afternoon so lets hope this is it!

Hi all. Just popping in quickly, having a busy day today. Off out tonight for dinner in a nice local restaurant so looking forward to that. My mum is babysitting for us so I can go out without worrying that the dc's will be ok. With her I know they will both be fine! Its for our 8th wedding anniversary. The way I have been feeling lately its a wonder we have got this far!!

elkiedee · 16/06/2007 17:18

Congratulations mammyjo, I hope you enjoy the celebration.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 16/06/2007 17:35

Hi ladies

Ange, it is lovely not having B around tbh! Means dh can actually spend some time with K, which they both seem to be enjoying.

Katy, hope T is ok, and that you get some rest - you sound knackered. x

Mammyjo, hope you have a lovely meal tonight. Me and dh got married in 1999 as well.

All ok here. Must fly, got people coming over soon. Probably won't be back on 'til tomorrow, so don't get up to too much, have lovely evenings and see you tomorrow. x

EllieK · 16/06/2007 18:10

EllieK · 16/06/2007 19:04

OP posts:
EllieK · 16/06/2007 19:08

ok, tonight
my friend Cath from work has some mates who will be out on a stag do tonight
she was told to get the girls out
so i'm going out
my cosin is coming too so that if cath disappears i have someone i know there
but my cousin and i are only just back on good terms, we've been estranged for a while
we're going to a nightclub that i've only been to once before
so i don't know my way around
and there'll be loads of blokes i don't know
when i'm at the least confident i've been in ages
and stupidly i know i'll still be wishing i was out with stephen all night, even tho i know it's over.

oh how i wish i was getting drunk

off to find some nice knickers and a non-grannified bra, just in case i get hit by a bus you understand

OP posts:
EllieK · 16/06/2007 19:10

and now i have the breast pads dilemma

i know i should wear them cos i will leak

but then i need to wear a bra
and can't wear a halterneck top

or do i just hope that it'll be too dark/men too drunk for anyone to notice and sneak off to express a bit when i feel let-down coming?

OP posts:
EllieK · 16/06/2007 19:23

and now you've all buuggered off
