RGee - have a lovely time. Will miss you....

.....in fact, missing you already.....

Although the average age of the thread will plummet now that you have gone on hols....

katwith3kittens · 22/06/2007 22:30

Wow ... cant believe how much has gone on in the last 24 hours. You know its just one of those things, try not to get too hung up about it. It was not spoken in malice, an apology was made, that should be the end of it. being sent your way.

Mrs LTH, what on earth were you thinking ? I cant believe the same woman who posted a worried 'I ran for the bus ... now I'm paranoid about etc ' last year now ran in the mothers race. HERO.

I backed out today but the mums at DD school are just so keen I just cant compete. The ones that raced all go to the gym three times a week and are there in their trainers with perfect hair and manicures (sounds a bit like the old me of a year ago ) DS sports day next week, maybe I'll get into practice for then (or alternatively I might just sit and watch !

Did I tell you I've started a baby signing class ? Its a bit complicated but hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon.

katwith3kittens · 22/06/2007 22:32

Oi ... dont forget oldest member of the thread is still here !

IsItPimmsOClock · 22/06/2007 23:24

Gosh it's taken a while to catch up on all that's been going on here.

MrsGP - very glad you've reappeared, it wouldn't be the same without you! Please try not to worry about what certain people think. We all know there was nothing rude or offensive meant in what you said. They don't know you. You know your own thoughts and opinions and that's what matters most.

BTW - can't see your photos. I need to see how the other J is getting on! Having said that all my photos seem to have disappeared

RGee - have a fab time, try not to miss us too much!

Dragonhart · 22/06/2007 23:43

Mrsgolf - Glad you are still here. Would be so sad if you or anyone else left. Love chatting to you all on here. xxxx

Have you set the photos to be seen by your mates as well as your profile??

Rgee have agreat holiday.

Kat - I did sign class with Luke and have just started going again with the two of them. I loved it and Luke did too. He has stopped doing most of the signs though as his speach is getting better and only does the one for Please and thankyou which is really cute. I would recomend it to everyone as I met some really nice people there and I am cirtain that it helped Luke's speach.

Good to hear form you Loosh xxx

UD- Hope Z is ok. Luke fell off our bed when he was tiny I was brushing my hair in the mirror . He banged his head really badly on the wardrobe and it went massive. Doctors said it was just fluid but it looked like he was growing another head! Poor lad!

Well, I think even EAH would be pleased with my tidy house Just a bit more to do tom but after the torrential rain today which flooded our garden, I dont hold out much hope for the bbq. Everyone will be sqeesed into our lounge. THink we will have to send everyone to the pub and let them come to our house in shifts!

RGee · 23/06/2007 08:56

Quick post before setting off.
Pippa has a tooth! Front left bottom tooth appeared overnight with no trouble .
See you next Saturday!

Dragonhart · 23/06/2007 10:39

Wow Rgee! A dream tooth!

Look here

We will be like sardines in our living room!

MrsGolfPro · 23/06/2007 10:51

Crappy crap crap DH. Thought it was today?

If so, I prefer this weather report for you here

J has started having 2 hour-hour and a half naps in the day now which is working out so much better cos he goes to bed so much easier. He has one at 8.45am and one at 1.00pm.

Going to our friends tonight for a much needed meal and catch up, mum is having J overnight. We'll be in Epworth Vino so I will wave at Rev Vino and Mummy Vino as we pass.

Hope everyone else is OK. It was torrential rain here yesterday which flooded the street, thunder and lightening which was really 'cracking' loudly.. I was out driving in it which was really frightening cos I couldn't see so I had to pull over to wait until it eased off. Got home to find DH and J had slept through the whole thing!! Is it a man thing?!?!?!

Very jealous at these little teeth appearing. J has no signs of any whatsoever.

Dragonhart · 23/06/2007 10:56

No, Sunday unfortunatly so even bbc weather says rain. Bought a couple of waterproof gazebos so will stick close family out in the garden [grin[

smallone · 23/06/2007 15:18

Hello everyone - that biblical storm we had the otherday knocked my wireless out of whack but I'm back now!

Whoa didn't it all kick off while I was gone?! Glad the dust seems to have settled a bit now tho. Glad to see Mrsgolfpro has joined us. This is what happens when you get a load of hormonal women in one place I expect . Seriously tho there's not a lot of point in having a discussion group if no-one is allowed to speak without getting pounced on is there?

Anyway enough of that - back to babies! still not really weaning yet, left it a week after the "banana incident" and tried some carrot today, which was met with enthusiastic sucking off the spoon which then turned into a grimace - don't think she's a fan!

On the tooth front I think she may be teething. Has started moaning/whinging with her mouth closed most of the day. Started waking up REALLY crying. Any thoughts?

laughalot · 23/06/2007 15:38

Smallone sounds like teeth im afraid.

Mrsgolf welcome back glad you have returned home.

Well crappy day weather wise its raining its poring laughalot is snoring. Bt came out to fix our phone except it wasnt the phone it was the sky cable that connects into the phone the nice bt man said there would be a charge by bt of £ 116 I kindly told him that there wouldnt be a charge because I wouldnt pay it . On a happier note we got Aidans bike today for his birthday and I love it.

laughalot · 23/06/2007 15:39

smallone · 23/06/2007 15:56
