As I have no brain and often no time to read all of the other thread, I thought I'd start a new one for SE meet up plans.

The questions:

  1. Can we all get to Brighton? Is that the best place?
  2. What weekdays could you do without big ones? Failing that, a Saturday.
  3. Who fancies a trip to West Wittering with the big ones in the summer hols? Let's book it in early.

For me - Yep, Brighton good, although I don't know it very well so I'm hoping someone else will suggest where to meet. Also happy if others have other suggestions - Arundel?!?
Best mid-week days for me are probably Tues, Wed or Fri when I can book N in to her nursery for a longer session. Monday also okay but would have to make it fairly speedy to be back by 3.00.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 03/06/2007 10:06

How exciting!! So need to figure where and at what time.

I am going to take the train, as the drive from here is a nightmare. WaspElly and Ange, do you think you will take the train? There are a few direct ones that take 1 hour 20 mins.

Emmymummy · 03/06/2007 10:40

Can we go to the pier and eat fish & chips? pllleeeeeeeeaassseeee?

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 12:01

That sound lurvely EM - as long the weather holds ... .....

Oooooh, lots of us can go - how exciting!!

Ellie, Joe, Phoebe & I will be training it (if that's ok with Ellie) as wouldn't want to try parking in Brighton....

EllieK · 03/06/2007 12:57

that's fine by me
done the underground with Matthew a few times so i'm sure the normal trains will be simple in comparison!

AngeG · 03/06/2007 19:17

yeah train sounds good to me. Don't know about times or anything though?

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 20:28

Just look them up online. Should be a relatively straight-forward journey for you!

AngeG · 03/06/2007 20:37

Thanks Dippy will do Can't wait to see you all again xx

AngeG · 03/06/2007 20:38

EllieK · 03/06/2007 20:40

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 20:43
Grin
EllieK · 03/06/2007 22:04

ok, new rule for the meet up, all attendees must have princess leah bunches

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 04/06/2007 10:21

Not sure my hair is long enough. Might have to buy some of those fake ones!!?

Bramshott · 04/06/2007 11:19

Fantastic! EM and I are driving together I think.

So we just need to decide what time we'll meet and where. Rather than trying to find somewhere to get lunch that we could fit 8 buggies into (!), maybe we should bring a picnic and head for a park??

I guess the earliest we could probably make it would be about 11.00 . . .

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 04/06/2007 11:21

EM suggested fish and chips by the pier!!? I'm v.much up for that!!!

AngeG · 04/06/2007 11:29

Fish and chips sounds good to me...rather not carry picnic stuff as well as pushchair and all the other stuff!! Haven't perfected the art of travelling light yet

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 04/06/2007 11:34

Oh I have - went out with DD1 and DD3 on Sat morning - stopped unexpectedly at a friends and had a cuppa - Didn't even have nappy with me!!!! Just DD1, myself & DD3 in sling .....

AngeG · 04/06/2007 11:38

Is that not a little too light

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 04/06/2007 11:42

Yes - It certainly was - Felt a v.neglectful mummy!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 04/06/2007 11:42

Picnic would be good, but carrying stuff is a pain, esp on the train.

Ange, where is your nearest train station? Or are you driving?

Waspelly, what about you? Are you training it?

Really excited about meeting up.

AngeG · 04/06/2007 11:48

I was thinking train with you SOKL Don't really fancy driving. Where will you get on train? Is there one which goes straight to brighton? Don't really fancy changing trains if possible!
