Uploaded pictures of hattie onto my profile these ones (all labeeled as 18 weeks/pixi photo) were taken in mothercare still waiting for my ones from the professional shoot, I love the feather boa one myself

Lizzzombie · 22/05/2007 15:04

Shimmer - btw, it took about a week, but now DJ rolls onto his tummy and stays there for ages and ages doing mini push ups quite happy. He still cant roll himself back over again though!

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2007 16:06

Gorgeous photos, EAH, she looks lovely and so much older! I guess she was supported by the cushions but it looks like she can sit on her own. Clever Hattie. How much did you pay in the end?

Hattie2- I rate the cranial osteopath too, he really helped Felix's compressed? head, he wouldn't lie on that side to feed and kept getting sticky eye. Worth a try anyway, I think the hospital uses a sort of brace thing if it's really bad, not sure about that but if something gentler works that would be better wouldn't it? God, I sound like a doomongerer, sorry! I'm sure it's fine

My favourite biscuit is one I haven't tried yet. As soon as I'm out of this trial no wheat AND no dairy I will be eating the ones I saw at my friends from M AND S. Raspberry and honeycomb cookies coated in milk chocolate. How nice do they sound? I just KNOW they are going to be my favourite. For now, I shall stick to my mixed berry oatcake You'd think I'd be losing weight wouldn't you, with all of this deprivation, but no, not an ounce, certainly not a pound. Mabe it's all the wheat/dairy free wine I'm allowed.

Wilkie · 22/05/2007 17:26

MrsC - that is such a coincidence!!! J had a sticky eye too that the CO picked up. AND, on the biscuit front - I really really rate the Fitnesse chocolate and raspberry bars. Absolutely gorgeous and only 90 calories (only downside is that they are Nestle - sorry UD )

BTW - I had a really really erotic dream about Kevin McCloud (off Grand Designs)....where is that puke emoticon when you need it??? WTF was that about?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

ellieandhattie · 22/05/2007 17:43

Mrs carrott she was sitting on her own although she had foam cushion under thedisplay and I was propping her from behind in some!!! I paid £50 for all 4 pictures and got each picture in 8x10 and 7x5 and 4 wallet prints so not to bad, although think my nan is going to pay for them

OMG, Wilkie, I love Kevin Macloud, sad I know but he's so, I don't know, interesting, if a little pessimistic . That is strange about the sticky eye, I think it's a very common problem after birth with the tubes being so tiny, any compressions affect it. MMM, those bars sound nice, are they like raspberry ruffles? Am afraid I insist on boycotting nestle like UD, they are absolutely shocking, at this very moment paying health visitors to encourage formula feeding in the poorest countries so babies die from hygiene issues, and are trying to financially bully some of the governments into dropping their action plans to promote a back to bf plan but ANYWAY tra la la... I bloody love raspberry ruffles, maybe they're cadbury's

EAH- sounds like a good price, was it a fun day? I had those done for both my other two, mainly as I got a voucher for a free one but was 'got' both times when I saw them all on the wall. It's like putting your child in the bin saying you don't want them isn't it, sentimental old fool that I am.

PCF- Hope they all go to bed ok, it's amazing how one tiny sleep can rejuvenate them for several hours

Lizz, sounds great fun living in Brighton. I used to go a lot when a friend was studing at Sussex, she lived in Hove, we had a lot of fun there, in fact I had a very messy 22nd birthday in some club near the front! I love the lanes too, will you miss the buzz?

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2007 21:36

ooops!

Wilkie · 22/05/2007 21:36

MrsC - v v v worried about you

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2007 21:49

Oh don't worry about me, Wilkie, I don't miss the choc too much, I have my oatcakes, and Maya gold

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2007 21:50

I once dreamt I slept with Axl Rose. Now that's worrying.

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2007 21:55

here

RGee · 22/05/2007 22:12

I reckon shagging Axl Rose would be v diiirty, you naughty naughty carrot
(BTW - just got back from night out. Had half a bottle of wine which seems to have gone straight to head). Think I'll return tomorrow morning to talk more sense.

RGee · 22/05/2007 22:12

At least I can type properly. Obviously not as pissed as I feel

canmummy · 22/05/2007 22:23

Hello everyone I've come out of hiding! Guess what I've been doing instead instead of being on MN? Cleaning! And the reason.... I had a cleaner come round this morning to give me a quote for coming regularly. Dh found it so amusing that I'd spent so long cleaning up ready for her coming. Anyway he still hasn't said yes to her so I need to work on that. Lo is back to sleeping regularly till 5.30 again so I feel sane again but I'm practising using her buggy before we take it on holiday next week and she hates it! No going to sleep in there

Pcf - hope your lo's are asleep by now!

Wilkie - you naughty girl! I'm having no erotic dreams as had a coil put in 5 weeks ago and it's lost!!! I'm going for a scan tomorrow to see where it is and if it's in place we can finally do the deed - only been waiting 18 weeks

EAH - lovely pictures and think you got a bargain! I really want a 4th now too! Dh wants me to give our baby clothes away bit I can't bear to yet

Hattie - can't believe your back at work. I really miss it and am going back in September.

We've been to school tonight that dd2 is starting in September and found out the after-school club is full! So got a nursery place for lo but nowhere for older 2 to go. So pissed off don't know what we'll do now. Haven't read too far back as it's been ages since I've been on but will soon catch up no doubt.

Wilkie · 23/05/2007 07:42

Ok Carrot, are you telling me that diiirrtyy Axl is worse than geek (possibly gay) Kevin ????

J is being a royal PITA - another night of waking up at 2-3am shouting and generally being angry. WTF is that about?!?!?!?!?!!!!

It is the Champions League Final on tonight so all those with footie mad fellas join me on MSN at 7.30pm sharp. I'll bring the booze....

Wilkie · 23/05/2007 07:45

BTW, Canmummy - can you tell me more about the coil i.e. what it was like having it fitted, what made you decide to use it etc etc please xx

ellieandhattie · 23/05/2007 08:01

morning, good night here (sorry wilkie ) Hattie did 6pm till 6am and ellie 6.30pm to 6.15am so feeling very refreshed.

I'll be on MSN tonight wilkie as Chris will be watching the footie (yawn!!!) and I was good last noght and avoided the computer and did the cleaning/washing/ironing so am free tonight.

Think I may have put my foot in it with Chris's work I am so pissed off he has to work sat,sun and monday this weekend when there are others at is work who havent done a single bank hols (chris has done every one). His boss phoned last night to change his start time today and Chris was out, he was asking how the girls were and I started a mini rant about how they were fine but they hardly see Chris because he works long hours and sometimes he may not se them for 2/3 days as he has done extra jobs just to help his boss out and now Chris has phoned to say he is off Sunday (apparently his boss has re rostered) didnt mention my rant and hoping his boss doesnt mention it but it seems to have worked (his boss is lovely and his wife died last year whilst out food shopping of an undiagnosed brain tumour so he is a single dad to 2 girls 8 and 10 so maybe he realised how I felt??)

Anyway got to go to MIL and drop her off to her mums flat as she is sorting it out ready for selling and then food shopping as Ellie and I are going on our first preschool outing tomorrow and need to take a packed lunch

laughalot · 23/05/2007 08:28

Well I would join you on msn if the f**king thing worked

RGee · 23/05/2007 08:59

Morning!

LaL - you need to get your PC sorted (says the woman who's PC randomly signs her out of MSN of a frequent basis)! All well with us ta. No more exciting mousing stories of late (except DH rescued a 'live' one at midnight from lo's room. She slept through the chasing round the bookcase)

EAH - well done you for talking to DH's boss! I don't think you've put your foot in it; other people should do their fair share
of bank holidays. Your photos are lovely H does look like a proper little girl. Can't believe they're growing up so fast!

Wilkie - Lee is off out tonight watching footie too. What a surprise that we'll all be on MSN! It is Apprentice night though.

Wilkie / Carrot - I think Kevin would be quite a gentle and tender lover. Unselfish. The opposite of Axl (I imagine in every orifice iykwim). Obviously I've been thinking about this in too much detail.......

Canmummy - get that cleaner!!! Pisser about the after school club. I presume the waiting list is overflowing too.

PCF - hope the lo's are feeling better today. Good luck for the weigh in (it is tonight isn't it?)

Lizz - pmsl that you frequent the same places as the stars *. Shame you didn't have any titty buns with you - that would have been a conversation starter to offer her one . Now I know Jordan gets lots of stick, but I kind of think she's ok. She makes no pretence over who she is. Wonder if she's a Mnetter?

Shimmer - roll on the holidays! We've got a cottage in the Dales at the end of next month.

Vino - am sure your influence is rubbing off. I now buy and use fabric softener and have one load of washing in, and another two lined up! I need to get a grip

UD - hope DH wasn't an arse last night.

Hi the rest of you .
Have we lost LTH and Jodie again?

Had a good evening last night. Yesterday afternoon I went to work to talk to the Director about my role when I come back. The meeting went really well, and I have what I wanted which is great. Then was taken out for a meal too. I start back mid August for a week, then have a week's holiday!

Have a good day. Off to get lo weighed later. She's a big bruiser now!

MrsCarrot · 23/05/2007 09:32

Ew, Rgee, 'gentler and tender lover', thats put me right off . I was just thinking I fancied him more after Wilkie's pictures too...

Crap night. Sore throat. Grumpy.

MrsCarrot · 23/05/2007 09:33

Going to pick things in the garden to gargle.

Wilkie · 23/05/2007 09:36

PMSL RGee 'Axl in every orifice'....could be quite nice - I think our Kev could be gay???

If you are gonna MSN I will not allow you to slope off and watch the Apprentice (we only have one TV that DH is gonna be hogging )

I see that no one else has offered to bring refreshment - come on, what are your offerings please...

MrsCarrot · 23/05/2007 09:50

Gay? Do you think so? Sigh. What kind of refreshments are you after, Wilkie, I have plenty of oatcakes...
