Thanks anyway EAH. But I think I would have been scared to borrow clothes anyway. Ruth is a bit on the rough side with her clothes and has already riped three cardies (one that my nan knited for her!), 2 pairs of trousers and put her toe through a sock! They were not cheap clothes either as they were all presents! Think she is going to be a tom boy!

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 20:39

Where would you recomend looking EAH?

Wilkie · 01/06/2007 20:43

How much do you wanna spend DH? Monsoon have some gorgeous stuff and their sale must be starting soon...

ellieandhattie · 01/06/2007 20:44

I have a little shop in my town that does these sorts of dresses so tend to go in there(they are normally £25ish but thats normally a dress and bolero so not to bad) if not marks and spencers sometimes (bit random in there though) monsoon is good but like you said expensive have you tried boots/adams as they randomly have nice dresses if not look on ebay as I am going to ebay mine when Hattie outgrown them as some of them been worn 2 or 3 times

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 21:26

Love this dress but it is just too expensive!

Quite like the two patterned smock tops on here with the linen trousers

but also like the pink rose dress from Next and I suppose I could get a dark pink cardi.

this dress from Marks is nice too

Suppose I dont want to spend more than about £30 in total so incl hat, cardi etc

LAL ? red pepper is a HUGE hit with J. I cut them into quarters, deseed, put under grill skin side up until the skin is blackened and charred. Then put in a plastic freezer bag (or similar) to cool down. Once cool, remove from the bag and peel skin off. Then Puree. Great with potato or parsnip. HTH.

UD ? J won?t go under his play gym any more. He has a huge play mat that he lays on with his toys and rolls over onto his front constantly with no restrictions. Loves it.

Currantbun ? fellow cold sufferer. How are you feeling today?

Shimmer ? I started J on babyrice with Apple and Strawberry from Boots. He really liked it and took it better than plain babyrice. But you can happily add pureed fruit to plain baby rice too.

Trixy ? has the CO made any difference?

Welcome Smallone ? why have you only just posted?? We are a friendly bunch (well, most of us are but watch out for that Rgee?.. )

Wilkie · 01/06/2007 21:28

DH - what size are you looking for?

thanks for asking Wilkie

< blows in tissue >

I feel worse today, and I have identified its beginning with my name change!

So I have returned to carrot, only my profile only has photos, I sounded like a wanker.

Hello everyone and Small one

< sniff >

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 21:37

So sad 2happy. Never know what to say though.

Hurray carrot has returned! Boo to currant! Hope that you feel better soon (and you Wilkie). Sending mentholy vibes your way!

Wilkie · 01/06/2007 21:38

DH - Just done you a search here

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 21:41

Cheers Wilkie. But really what I wanted was a dark coloured dress, like a pink or red or something. She really suite dark colours but not pale ones so much. Suppose though I could get a light dress and a drak coloured cardie.

ellieandhattie · 01/06/2007 21:41

DH - I love the rose one in next and the marks and spencer one, personally I prefer my 2 in dresses for weddings etc but would have top/trousers in my bag as emergency

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 21:41

dark coloured cardie!

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:43

Hello, sorry for the thread crash, i'm EAh's friend.

Dragonhart, i've got a lovely Next dress in 6-9 months, cream with flowers. DD wore it once to her naming day, think i have a cardi too and some little ballet type shoes. Will look them out if you're interested.

ellieandhattie · 01/06/2007 21:46

ellieandhattie · 01/06/2007 21:47

may order the 2nd and 4th one for hattie!!!

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:49

Hello EAH

Was indeedy from Next, cardi from next too, and shoes from Monsoon!

H does not NEED anymore clothes

Move away from the mouse and credit cards

Dragonhart · 01/06/2007 21:50

That would be great Eddas. If you have a photo of them or could email me one? My email is [email protected]

Love the pink one EAH (5103). Might send off for it anyway! Bargin.

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:53

I'll email you one now, doesn't show it off much though, will try to find it(requires dh to go into the loft) and get a better piccie tomorrow

ellieandhattie · 01/06/2007 21:55

Eddas - she does need a few summer dresses in 6-9 months as all of Ellies are wrong season !! Although will probably go to primark/matalan (but those adams ones are cute!)

Right am off to bed now so night (eddas send a big kiss to g and h from me)

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:58
