Looking forward to sharing news of our babies as they reach their first milestones and grow into little people.

I don't think it's definite @theotherendofthesockportal but they are struggling. Better safe than sorry!

J is on the Ella's kitchen pouches as at the moment I am so flat out at work I can't even think about cooking, I'm barely remembering to eat myself. It's foaling time so it's just absolute chaos!

He is eating half a pouch for breakfast and then half a pouch at around 5.30pm. He absolutely loves every one we have tried so far, even ones I have thought we're strong smelling and I would turn my nose up at! He is constantly wanting more when we are feeding him so he was definitely ready.

Hazandduck · 27/03/2018 05:35

@Durez the pouches are brilliant especially if you are really busy. I plan to use them when I don’t have time to purée everything, and will probably introduce finger foods after we get back from holiday when she will be 6.5 months x

Hazandduck · 27/03/2018 05:38

Can I also ask why am I awake at this godforsaken hour when my baby is asleep?! 🙄

DuRezidal · 27/03/2018 05:39

Snap @Hazandduck

butterybollocks · 27/03/2018 06:10

Me too @hazandduck and @durezidal. Although in my case it's because the baby is asleep on me because he's full of cold.

lydiangel83 · 27/03/2018 07:08

@Hazandduck @DuRezidal @butterybollocks I often am awake during the night in the rare hours that baby is asleep! So annoying! I think i really need to learn how to relax and sleep better, I've always been bad. Women's health physio said I need to learn to relax pelvic floor apparently I hold a lot of tension in there?! Who knew?!
I'm desperate to wean Liliana and she is definitely ready for it but paediatrician said if dairy intolerant then need to be careful and he will talk to us about it in a few wks :-/ in the mean time she will sit and frown at us eating our food, she grabbed a handful of my stir fry the other day she is very interested in food

butterybollocks · 27/03/2018 07:11

How's the no dairy trial going @lydiangel83?
Freddie sits at the table drooling and staring at our food. He's interested but not trying to grab our food yet.

lydiangel83 · 27/03/2018 08:10

@butterybollocks it's actually ok - I'm hoping I will lose weight tho quite a lot of vegan treats around!! I just miss all the Cadbury's easter choc! She does seem calmer as a result although still not right, I can hear her guys gurgling away sometimes - poor thing

Zampa · 28/03/2018 22:44

We have a roller! Little madam waited until I'd left the room then flipped from back to front. I'd only gone 5 seconds.

I thought it might be a one off but she's repeated her trick several times today.

Gone are the days of leaving her in the middle of the dining table ... Blush

Freddie rolled today too @zampa! Must be something in the air! We'll be dismantling the changing table today.

Zampa · 29/03/2018 07:20

Well done Freddie!

Ooh rollers! Tilds gets sooo close then gives up and rolls back lol x

Motherhippy16 · 30/03/2018 08:51

@lydiangel83 pret a manger do a yummy dark chocolate coconut bar and Sainsbury's do a lot of vegan chocolate in the free from section. They've also started doing a goodfellas vegan pizza which is really yummy! X

Motherhippy16 · 30/03/2018 08:56

Yay for the rolling babies .... Ellis us no where close yet but we have def hit the 4month sleep regression.... last night was the first night he managed 4 hours straight in over a week. He's been up every hour pretty much and from 3am the only way to get him to stay asleep is if he sleeps in my arms. He still has lots of trapped wind so cant settle and just wakes himself up bless him. What s everyone got planned for the long weekend? Chocolate and wine?! Grin CakeWine Flowers

Hazandduck · 30/03/2018 17:32

Oh @motherhippy that sounds tough! Hope Ellis starts sleeping better soon :(
Not much planned, we have made the horrendous mistake of watching 47 Metres Down this afternoon, well I am never going in a shark cage that’s for certain! 😂🙈 We’ve been out for Taco Bell today and had my crazy niece and nephew for a sleepover last night, they were all in our bed this morning bundling on us (Matilda included!) she loved having them here! Not much else for the long weekend just seeing family and eating too much.
How about you @motherhippy? Much planned? Xx

Hazandduck · 30/03/2018 17:33

Can’t get over this crappy weather ugh 🙄

lydiangel83 · 31/03/2018 07:52

@Motherhippy16 there are a lot of tasty vegan treats but not the same as a Creme egg!! We also have awful sleep up every hour, last night we were rejoicing in 2.5 hr stints. Funny what your standards are, we were at friends last night who put baby down at 7:30, wake baby up at 10:30 for a bottle then he is down until 6:30am. I nearly cried!

lydiangel83 · 31/03/2018 07:53

*their baby I should add - not ours!

lydiangel83 · 31/03/2018 07:54

@Hazandduck yes weather is awful. It is making us stay home and have a clear out bough! We wanted quiet wkend just the three of us but still manage to have parents coming tomorrow and Monday!

butterybollocks · 31/03/2018 09:43

We're also staying home and trying to sort out the house. I've found a charity who take baby stuff for mums in need so I'm getting stuff we've finished with together for them. Fed up with the weather though, I want to be out doing our allotment and was hoping we could have gone to a farm park.

@lydiangel83 ime no one gets away with consistently good sleep - good babies can be crap toddlers. Or they'll have another one and that one won't sleep. We have friends who were a bit smug about baby sleep and how parents created sleep problems, rods for their own backs etc.... Until their second child came along Grin

lydiangel83 · 31/03/2018 10:45

Haha @butterybollocks yeah I'm holding on to that! Plus we don't know whether our baby is in pain or not so I couldn't just let her cry

izzibee29 · 01/04/2018 04:54

Wahoo for the rolling. Our Frederick loves to sit up unaided and roll sideways after a few minutes but that's all the rolling he does. Happy Easter Mamas. Enjoy that Chocolate x

Motherhippy16 · 01/04/2018 06:47

Morning all. E is completely in the 4 month sleep regression..... he is so unsettled.... @lydiangel83 every 2 hours last night. He's just gone off to sleep on me again. Annoyingly e sleeps better on my th which helps me at the weekend but not during the week.
Am full of cold and so is e.... the first one since he has been born but still going to parents today and down to the beach tomorrow do a walk. Much love to all x

Zampa · 01/04/2018 08:08

We went to a farm park on Friday @butterybolllocks. Mistake! The sheds were ok and the tractor safari but 20 minutes of feeding the animals in the fields in the rain and wind was enough. Both girls were crying by the time we got back to the car and the the rest of us weren't far off!
