Morning all - new thread as the old one's about to hit the 1000 posts limit.

Not so great this morning - feel like an egg-bound chicken IYSWIM. Grrr - especially as I managed to avoid it all the way through pregnancy. And not sure if there's anything I can take for it while I'm feeding?

OP posts:

Rosylily · 25/04/2007 13:15

Kitty I thought your children do look like you and like each other too.

kittyhas6 · 25/04/2007 13:22

really?
Where are you going to escape to Rosy? Can I come?

Piffle · 25/04/2007 13:27

Foxy I'd love to go to bed earlier as Finn is usually great from 7-10.30 - 11pm.
However ds who is 13 stays up til 10 and then farts around brushing his teeth and stuff so he is usually same time as DP and I tbh

I'm looking fwd to that picnic, am going to try and see if Dp will have all the kids
I'll be expressing and freezing long in advance

foxcub · 25/04/2007 13:32

Piffle - I am taking my monsters to the picnic!!!!!

Kitty I think DS2 and DD 1 and 2 look like you

divastrop · 25/04/2007 14:17

kitty-my ds1 is 9 and i do suspect that,if he does ever get married,it wont be to a woman

dd1 who is 8 could pair up with your ds1.she is lovely but very scatterbrained and a total gobshite.

my ds2+your dd2,obviously.(he bounces out of bed in the morning and runs around like a loony making lots of noise all day till he collapses back into bed at 7pm).

my dd2 will never be allowed anywhere near a male if dp has anything to do with it.

Ronnie+Elsie sounds like something to do with 1950's eastend gangsters.cool.

i need to escape, rosy, can i come?this town is so small when you've grown up in a city, and now i can no longer visit my mother i start to feel 'closed in' after a while.

i used to jump on the train and escape to morecambe or blackpool when ds2 was a baby and the older 2 were staying with their father.

divastrop · 25/04/2007 14:19

oooh,i forgot,i had some good news this morning(if it's true).i saw the local gossip and she told me my next door neighbours are moving either this week or next.

foxcub · 25/04/2007 14:26

Diva - that's fantastic news!!!!!

well done

Rosylily · 25/04/2007 14:34

Yep everyone come too, I'm going to see take that Though actually not til october or something but if I don't get him used to a bottle he'll never take one which is what happened with the last two. Hv recommended getting him used to a bottle by 8 weeks. So it's a long term escape plan.

Very jealous about the picnic, I wanna come too!

kittyhas6 · 25/04/2007 14:34

Great Diva, fingers crossed for you.

What makes you think that about your ds1 then?

foxcub · 25/04/2007 14:42

Is he the "youngest gay in the village?"

...sorry that was inappropriately flippant!

divastrop · 25/04/2007 14:42

he's just very 'girly',he hates football, has mainly female friends etc.i just couldnt ever imagine him having a girlfriend iyswim.

DollyPopsOut · 25/04/2007 16:51

Had a lovely glass of wine in the sunshine with my friend and her 9 week old baby - reckon he'll marry DD2 as they are so close in age. Feel very mellow and slightly pissed, which is pathetic on one glass. Got to sober up now to get DD1 from nursery.

Fox - where and when is the picnic?

XXXX

DollyPopsOut · 25/04/2007 16:52

foxcub · 25/04/2007 20:04

Jaysecond · 25/04/2007 20:37

foxcub · 25/04/2007 20:48

aren't you getting any sleep Jay? what's happening?

Jaysecond · 25/04/2007 21:06

its just Jensen, being a bugger thats all, i wont go into details on here, i dont want to bore/depress anyone, i have started a thread in behaviour/development on it all.

I am still about though, but reading more than writing, cheers me up no end to hear all about everyones days/babies. Am sure i will be back when things settle down xx

divastrop · 25/04/2007 21:27

jay-i read your thread,i didnt post on it as i dont have experience of bf and the only things that ive found have worked for colic had already been suggested.i just want to say i hope things settle for you soon and you can get some much needed rest.you seem to be coping really well considering,and i admire you for continuing to bf.{{{hugs}}}

TheBlonde · 25/04/2007 22:24

Hi all, I have vagued skimmed the thread but sleep deprivation is affecting my eyesight so I can barely read

Jay - hope things improve for you soon and you get some rest

Those who are listening to Paul McK - when I get time I will be listening to his get thin CD - let me know how the life changing goes

Nipples still agony here. Doc gave me Nystan but I'm finishing up with the Daktarin first.
Daytime feeds have been a little better today but last night was dreadful - lots of tears

Mossie - I write down all the feeds DD has, it's my only hope of recalling when I last fed her, I also note poos

I only caught a mention on the thread but are the karaoke neighbours leaving??

TheBlonde · 25/04/2007 22:24

Forgot to add, MIL arrives any minute so will be offline for a while probably, have a good week all

divastrop · 25/04/2007 22:34

theblonde-so rumour has it,although i dont 100% trust the info that comes from the local gossip, she did tell me where they are moving to so who knows???i will be watching eagerly for signs

LaidbackinEngland · 25/04/2007 22:39

Diva - hope your neighbours bugger off soon, and you get a lovely old couple who make you cakes and offer to do your garden

Jay - you poor thing - hang on in there girl ! Hope your mum can have him - a nights sleep sounds definately deserved.

Mossie - I love the Cornwall/Devon accent. One of our dear friends who died recently used to called DH "my handsome" the whole time...it was lovely !

Amos and DH have gone upstairs for a snooze, so empty my 4th lot of washing of the day. FOr a house full of boys they seem to change their clothes an awful lot
