Lol about the pool. I forgot that you lived in it last year

Booby, her dh and cj are coming to stay with us next weekend!
Who do you feel sorry for most?
lolol

BigHotMama · 11/06/2007 13:12

Do you live in a mansion NBG? Lol Have fun girls!

Well done for Slimmer of the week Arabica! Are you doing SW? I am and its great how much you can eat...having SW chips for tea yumyum.
How long will Esja have to have physio? Poor love, must be hard watching your baby going through that but keep thinking its helping her too.

Hope your ok melsy, just your luck that dd1 is poorly too, things can only get better chick!

Jackson is driving me doo-lally today, he wont sleep and is really hyper! He normally has a nap around 11-12ish and is still playing, growling, dancing and shouting. Argh!

olivo · 11/06/2007 19:52

Salut - ca va? finally back to work and dd back to nursery - still not drinking her milk at bedtime and not eating properly but sickness seems to be over and two new teeth have appeared as well !
LOL at all these growling babies - i wish dd would. but... MIL heard her saying mama yesterday so i had a proud mummy moment!
nothing much else to report, just thought i'd drop in!

Snowboo · 11/06/2007 21:38

Hi ladies! Gosh i need a day to catch up with you all!

Hi Monkey and Baby Boo! Welcome

Not stopping as i'm on a mission to find a buggy that Austin CAN'T climb out of. He has now worked out how to: Open drawers/cupboards in kitchen, toilet door whilst i'm peeing(and hiding ) climb out of walker... Oh the list goes on. Won't bore you any longer.....

Hi Mels, hope you are feeling a bit better and dd is ok now xx

Will catch up later xxxxxx

burstingbug · 12/06/2007 23:22

NBG!!!!!! Cod has a thread for you here , something about a book and not having your address

I've also msn'ed you too, tried emailing, but it was rejected

Nbg · 13/06/2007 08:02

Thanks BB.
Got it

olivo · 15/06/2007 12:08

anyone out there?
another boring day at work, loads to do but cant be bothered - up at 5 with dd all week. just biding my time till 2pm when i take dd for her first visit to the nursery she will be starting in september. i just pray its as good as the one she is in now; i'm gutted that she's leaving there, they are so lovely but it has to be done. we are going for snack time this p.m so that should suit her!!
off to buy dd a tricycle after that - it says 12 months and up but hey, we're nearly there and of course, she IS advanced
hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

rattleskuttle · 15/06/2007 13:15

hello olivo, looks like it will be sunny this weekend.

haven't read the latest on the thread, will catch up soon.

i've just had a mechanic out to put new brakes in my car this morning, and am busy this afternoon so i'm trying to work out when i can get out to buy a present for dh for father's day.

dcs have covered themseves in spaghetti bolognese so i suppose i'd better clean them, lol

MonkeyandBabyBoo · 15/06/2007 15:15

Hi Olivio and rattleskuttle!

I'm having a boring day at work too. Good luck with the nursery viewing Olivio. I've just chosen one for dd and she starts next month - had a couple of settling in sessions and got a half day session on Monday. I thought I'd be used to leaving her by now but I still cried when I left her on her session on Monday - I only left her for 2 hours!!

Anyhoo - hopefully gonna leave work early so have a nice weekend ladies

olivo · 15/06/2007 20:09

just enjoying my own company and a nice glass of wine - dh away for a few days and dd was in bed early so its me and a date with the TV for once!
new nursery was reassuring (although its going to be £290 a week, term time only - yikes!!), dd made herself at home at snack time and was happy to have some different toys to play with - the other babies were cute too!
hope everyone has a great weekend!

melsy · 15/06/2007 20:17

aww sweet little girly olivo that she enjoyed it at price !!!

Im having a pity party on another thread all for my lonesome self this evening.

rattleskuttle · 16/06/2007 22:24

hello monkey. my ds was born on the 24th of august.

that is soooo expensive, olivo

my belly is starting to go down and i don't know why. i'm not dieting or exercising any more than usual but it's definitely getting smaller and flatter. also i've only just got to the point where i can touch the c section scar and it doesn't bother me. i know 9 months is a long time and i wondered if i'm taking longer to get back to normal because i'm old(er) - 42, or is it 43, i can't remember, lol.

BigHotMama · 18/06/2007 09:00

Rattle, I go all squirmy when I touch my scar it just makes me feel a bit eurgh! Cant explain it, still feels numb around the area too. Wish my belly was going down, you lucky lady! I'm working hard to shift my flab, its such hard work!

Well had a busy weekend, went to see George Michael in concert at Manchester friday night and am still in the clouds, he was FAB! Singing sat night and yesterday went out for meal for Fathers Day, was stuffed but still managed to squeeze in choc fudge cake and cream, ds loved it too ha!

Am having a virgin vie make up party on friday night and have to decide on whether I want to become a consultant, so am trying to research all week on their products and if its worth taking the plunge. Would be nice to seel something I enjoy rather than concrete or tools .

Hope everyone is well x

PinkTulips · 18/06/2007 16:11

rattle, i have a scar on my face that's 6 years old and i still can't stand it being touched and dp had his appendix out at 13 and still can't stand touching the scar. i think deep cuts are just like that, nothing weird about you

well we found a house after the weekend from hell house hunting last week. it's unfurnished so we might be sleeping on the air matress at first but it's dirt cheap and gorgeous so well worth it (and what an excuse for me to furniturre shop for the next few years!) we'll be moving at the end of the month and lord knows how long it'll be before we can get broadband connected so might be offline a while.

OP posts:
melsy · 18/06/2007 16:34

ahhh great news pink ,youll have fun planing and designing it Im sure.

Ewwwwwwwwwwww dont talk about scars , I have a new one right errr well you know. YUCKKKK

still feeling wobbly , think Im just really low/tired from everything going on ,it all soudns crazy when I explain it to people I havent seen for a while , did nursery pick up this afternoon, only 2nd one in 3weeks and everyone's been wondering where Ive been, it was like listing some crazy womens life. I had another offer to help with picks ups so might call that one in when things are bluergh.

Might need some hand holding this week , biopsy results arent till Thurs afternoon. I keep having to gulp at the thought.

Everyone send hugs to booby whos feeling wobbly too , oh and NBG'S little ds, hes got the D&V bug .

Snowboo · 18/06/2007 21:56

Aw Mels, i've got my hand out for you to hold as and when you need to hun. Hope you feel better and i'm sure your results will be fine. x

Pink, thats great news!! Well done. SO how far from where you are now? And i just love furniture shopping! But i do tend to buy things that won't fit in the house

Well i've got a job interview on Thurs and am having serious panic attacks at the thought of it. Not sure if i'm doing it for me or just because. Seemed like a good idea to start but the more i think about it im bricking it. Just might canx it tomorrow. On the grounds that i'm a nervous hopeless wreck...

NBuGgeration · 19/06/2007 09:38

Fab news Pinky! You dont mess about do you
Hurry up and get internet connection when you get there!

Snow, just do what you feel you can. If you think its too much dont put yourself through it.

Well as Melsy said, Ellis started with sickness and diorreah on Sunday when Booby was still with us.
Yesterday she called me to say CJ had started with it. Then later last night dh and dd got it
DD was screaming in pain. I couldnt bear to see it so I had to leave her with dh and sleep in the spare room where Ellis decided all he wanetd to do was lay on top of me!
Then this morning Booby has text me to say she has it now and CJ is still puking!!!

Thankfully I'm ok lol!

Snowboo · 19/06/2007 10:39

Oh Nbg, i really feel for you! Austin had it a while ago and it has awful to see him projectile vomming all over the place.
Hope your lot feel better quickly!
And poor Booby, big hugs to you too.

Ds1 has had his 1st migraine. Poor love spent two days in bed. I really hoped he wouldn't get them but its sods law i guess.

Well i have an ear infection brought on by stress with this job! Part of me really wants it but the other part is screaming no. I think it may be nerves. Have started getting panic attacks in a major way and am finding the whole thing very stressful.

olivo · 19/06/2007 14:00

NBG and Booby - I can sympathise - holly and i had it abuot 10 days ago - i've never washed so much bedding and sleepsuits in my life! she is now fine and back on all her milk and her food although her sleeping habits are now interesting ! I am fine too and a few pounds lighter !

Snow - sorry to hear you're so stressed; my advice is to think really carefully about work - i wish i'd thought it through better before coming back. I'm hating it to be honest, really stressed out every day and not enjoying it one bit. and poor dh bears the brunt of my bad temper at home because of it
anyway, dont get me wallowing in the doom and gloom of crappy work! teh sun is shing and dd has a new tricycle that she loves so the minute i finish here, we're off out for a walk with it!
hope the rest of you are well.
oh and pinky, good luck with the move.

dressedupnowheretogo · 20/06/2007 09:20

well we have all come out the other side with the d and v a few pounds and ounces lighter was weird watching cj sleep all day

good news we have sold our house stc so should be in new one for cj's bday yeah

ive been signed off again for another fortnight and gp has put me on antianxiety/depressants to see how i go i hope it helps i also need to sort cj sleep out ask nbg to vouch me shes placid but hard work

h and i also cut all of ellis hair off on sunday if possible he looks even more gorgoues

Snowboo · 20/06/2007 14:52

Did the meet up ever get organised? Or have i missed something? Or a lot??

Well i have canx my interview due to the stress bringing on a very bad ear/throat infection. Have been given four different tablets to try and clear it. Only thing is i feel spanked from them so my mum has had to take time off to look after the boys! To make matters worse dh is away for the weekend so i'm all alone.... Why oh why do these things happen at the most inconvenient times?

So i need to rebook my interview, at least i have more time to decide if its what i really want.
Thanks for the advice Olivo, have taken it on board.

NBuGgeration · 20/06/2007 15:06

Snow, Booby, her dh and cj came and stayed with us at the weekend.
A few weeks ago my dh went to meet up with them at Centre Parcs. I would have gone but it was when I wasnt well and at my parents.

Ellis pic is on my profile with his new hair cut

Everyone here is better now, apart from dh who's been left with aches and sore stomach.
DD is a bit reluctant to eat atm as she thinks its going to make her be sick again . I hope that passes soon as she looks really pale.
Ellis jut took it in his stride. I swear if he could talk he would have said "Oh yeah, puking, bring it on. I do it best"

olivo · 21/06/2007 12:17

that's it, i am officially fed up!I am off work AGAIN, this time with laryngitis - my voice has totally gone. I have only managed 4 whole weeks out of the 8 i have been back for, my colleagues must be so fed up with having to cover my lessons. I have been signed off till monday and plan to catch up on some sleep while dd is at nursery.hope things are better for everyone else.

Snowboo · 21/06/2007 13:18

Oh i wasn't saying it cos you'd met up, just wondered if anything had been arranged. My head is all over the place atm so thouht i may have missed something

Olivo, you really aren't doing much for my 'get back to work' plan I feel so rough at the minute that i can't imagine how you are finding it with work as well.
Hope you feel better soon! x

olivo · 21/06/2007 16:28

sorry snow ! i was kind of excited to go back to work, but then reality hit me! i think the ideal for me,if we could do it, would be three days but as from september,i'm going down to 4 days a week, so will have wednesdays off but dd will still be in nursery - so that'll be the 'reclaim my sanity' day. (ok, reality check, do the housework, mark my books, prepare my lessons and sleep!)
I slept for THREE hours this afternoon - it was bliss
