Ok, now very intruiged by the olives....will try him on a bit later.
And well done with the avocado Arabica, i can only wish my two would try it. Austin will eat anything apart from avocado.

So can he have prawns yet? Tried with cod but he threw it up in a second. That was a month ago.
Well he slept really well at last! Pink, he was very poorly, projectile vomit everywhere and seeping nappies. Went on for 4 days but is so much better now.

Right, have to go ds1 is attempting to do my washing up and Austin is taking OFF the clothes ive spent ages putting on.

Snowboo · 18/05/2007 09:13

By the way nbg, is that a pic of your bum or bump?? LOL! (I'm preuming its your bump otherwise you've got reverse legs...)

Nbg · 18/05/2007 09:14

pmsl snow!

Its my bump.

PinkTulips · 18/05/2007 10:13

they're already pitted so i just squeeze them so they break and he eats them himself.

grapes i just cut in half for both of mine, they're big fans, lol

very cute bump nbg, have you had the scan then? all good? (i guess you have a thread but i'm too lazy to hunt for it now )

OP posts:
Nbg · 18/05/2007 10:15

nope, scan is at 2:45 today.

BigHotMama · 18/05/2007 12:34

Lol at your ds eating an onion bhaji Arabica!
Mmmmm Jackson loves mashed avocado and banana together, he mainly plays with grapes but some of it goes in I think . Might try cornfalkes as only give him readybrek with blueberries/banana at moment for his breaky. How mad Caleb eating Olives? He must have a required taste already lol . J loves mashed potato with melted cheese and any veg thrown in. Also chomps on toast and rice cakes. Tried scrambled egg last week but it was a disaster with most of it on the carpet . Must buy one of those mats to go underneath!

I have managed to lose 9lb over the last month, have been running (well if you can call it that ha!) and doing the davina dvd, can see a small difference but my belly still looks about 5 months pg, I have got 11 weeks to go for my hols so am on a mission to get to pre-preg weight b4 then which is just over 1 stone. Any tips girls?

Arabica · 18/05/2007 13:02

Hi BHM. Well done on the running. Was a runner but unfortunately my back is too knackered at the moment, partly because I still have over 3st to lose. I think I'm going to join Slimming World again, for the 5th time!
Am afraid Esja eats rather more baby food jars than DS used to. So although she does have her fair share of home-made ratatouille she also has quite a lot of Hipp Organic vegetable lasagne and rigatoni napoli. Eeek! Baby food in jars! (Arabica stands back and waits for flack)

purpleturtle · 18/05/2007 13:09

rather than flack from me Arabica. Ds2 won't touch a jar - and it would be so convenient when we're out and about if he would, just occasionally, eat from a jar.

Got to go, he's eating a Connect 4 piece.

PinkTulips · 18/05/2007 13:18

dd ate loads of jar arabica and i had far less excuse than you

caleb won't take anything off a spoon at all which is fine for the most part but annoying when he wants to eat yogurt with his fingers or i need to give him calpol!

BigHotMama · 18/05/2007 13:48

Arabica, I'm clinically obese and need to lose about 4-5 stone in the long run but am happy to lose a stone for now, cant believe how hard it is after having a baby. I've been doing a bit of WW and SW at the moment and find doing the exercise is really helping me. (Can you imagine a 16 stoner jogging with her slim mates? I have to stop and take a shorter route while they bounce away like spring chickens? Red sweaty betty thats me!)

We sometimes use jars if no time to cook, especially when we were on holiday. I've started to do cook a load of veg at start of week and freezing it in little pots for rest of week. Sometimes ds refuses my cooking which really p*sses me off but at mo he will eat anything as long as there are no lumps.
Any idea how do you get them to eat lumps?

And yeah somebody mentioned Eeny earlier? Not been on here for ages, hope she is ok x

Nbg · 18/05/2007 13:49

Help me girls.

I dont want to go to hospital
Am so anxious.

PinkTulips · 18/05/2007 13:58

{{{{hugs}}}} nbg, it'll be ok.

{{{hugs}}} back.

olivo · 18/05/2007 14:19

hello everyone.
NBG - good luck at the hospital, let us know how it goes.
Arabica, good to hear from you - glad you and Esja are well.
BHM - well done on your weight loss - i'm well impressed with the jogging, i havent exercised since before I was pg. Nvere seem to have the time or the energy both at the same time
LOL at all the food everyone's dcs are eating. my dd has been off her food a bit recently, but blueberries are still going down a treat, and peas, one at a time!!
i'm still feeling exhausted and have been pretty low the last couple of weeks, feeling tearful and fed up; can't put my finger on it but can't wait til i'm not working full time.
hope you all have a lovely weekend; we've got the first of several 1 year old birthday parties tomorrow and the weather seems to be improving - hurray!

BigHotMama · 18/05/2007 14:37

NBG try and keep positive and just think in less than an hour you'll be out of there thinking it wasnt all that bad. Dont forget to drink plenty of water too. Good luck chick x

Olivo, sorry to hear your feeling down. Its probably trying adjust with going back to work and juggling time for your dd, I remember feeling like I had no time for ds or myself when I went back to work and couldnt wait to finish. Its hard bloody work doing what you do and sometimes you need a bit of time out, why dont you book yourself in for a massage and get pampered? I had one few weeks ago and felt wonderful afterwards.

I've actually got dressed today and am going out the house lol. Dont want to think what the window cleaner thought of me yesterday, still in pj's, unburshed hair, no make up (scary!) and ds crawling around the floor while mommy on MN .

Arabica · 18/05/2007 14:56

Lots of luck NBG.
Got to dash as Esja is eating Grazia. I wouldn't mind, but it's a page I haven't read yet. She may have developmental delay, but not in the magazine-munching part of her brain.
Hello Olivo and anyone else I haven't greeted!
Have there been any August 06 meet-ups whilst I've been AWOL? We did talk about it before we had the babies IIRC.

Nbg · 18/05/2007 16:10

Just to let you know everythings fine.
Got due date of 28th Nov. Placenta at the front and thats it!
