Oh and BTW I won the dress, she relisted it for me as I did not bid first time, due to cold feet. It is mine!!!! £80 in total inc postage. YEY!!!

SleepIsForTheWeak · 15/04/2007 20:49

Pavlov, well done on the dress it is GORGEOUS! IT WAS QUITE WEIRTD THOUGH HOS SHE HAD LOADS OF PHOTOS FROM HER WEDDING DAY ON THE LSITING?!?!?!?
OOps sorry about caps, didn't mean to shout.

Agalch, you look so happy in the photos, really lovely
I feel the saem about some members of the family - they never fail to disappoint, I now don't expect anything from them sadly.

Jeanie, welcome back! Glad you are feeling better, and she is gorgeous !!!

KZ, Sefton had also developed a bit of a screech like that. Talking of posting things, is picture trail now a subscription thing? Do you know of any other places we can post pics and movies without the commitment besides you - don't want this to become a full time occupation for you!)

Sefton's routine is all over the place at the moment, because we have had so many BBQs etc to go to, and I refuse to sit at hom to get his nap at the exact time BUT the first day I did that routine I types out, he slep for 2.5 hours in the morning - UNHEARD OF! He is still terrible through the night - wakes 2 or 3 times

We went to a BBQ today and he was the only baby and had far too much attention, he was doing cute things then looking up just to make sure everyone was still watching! Takes after his father....

Have my interview tomorrow so leaving him with a babysitter that is not a family member or friend for the first time eeeeeeek but he is happy going to strangers so it should be fine. Bloody miles away though - 1.5 hours each way (but will be working form home so worth it).

Blah blah blah, have had many glasses of wine and bored of watching DH DIY

SleepIsForTheWeak · 15/04/2007 20:50

and please excuse my awful typos!

PavlovtheCat · 15/04/2007 20:55

SIFTW - yes, I do have some reservations, but I said to hell with them, overriding feeling of a bargain, we shall see . Maybe she just wanted everyone to see how great she looked, maybe the ones showing the dress in full glory made her look awful!!! However, I asked for measurements, bust and waist, and was told 15inches armpit to armpit and 13inches across the waist , now, I dont know about you, but those measurements sound like a man's measurements, surely a woman would not say that, but actually give bust and waist size?!! Only a man would measure something in that way?

KZ - I am sorry you are feeling crap hun , sorry Roshi has been so poorly, it must have been hard for you to deal with it and also very sorry you have found white spots. I really hope it is something other than vitiligo...if its early to start, it could be something else? I do not know anything about it, but I will think of you tomorrow and send you positive thoughts for good news

HumphreysCorner · 15/04/2007 22:31

Oh kayzed-hugs to you. Have just been reading up on vitiligo. I do so hope this is not the diagnosis. How sad that other disorders can be linked to it. Be thinking of you tomorrow.

((xx))

kbaby · 15/04/2007 22:44

So many messages. Ive only skimmed through them so apologies to those ive missed.

DS has started clapping and waving this week and is clicking with his tongue which he finds fun along with bouncing.
CC is going ok, bedtime is no problem now and he goes down awake with no crying. Weve started it in the night this weeks, its been tough as one night he cried for 30 mins on 3 separate occasions and we were all so tired the next day, hes also been in a bad mood in the days because hes been tired but then Thursday night he did really well and was so happy on Friday its made me realise that not sleeping at night is no good for him either and last night he slept all night
Weve had a lovely weekend. DD had a climbing frame and slide given to her so weve had the neighbours 3 kids in all weekend and were rabbit sitting as well so DD has been kept occupied with either playing on the slide or feeding the rabbit and DS has had fun watching them all playing. He hates the grass though and has to sit on a blanket.

Us- he looks lovely and has beautiful eyes. Yes DS is stroppy esp as he cant crawl yet and wants to get to something this = major shouts and screeching.
HC- she looks like a mini version of you
Fab video kayzed, how do you add videos?. I hope it turns out to be nothing to worry over

Found out last night that a friend who has a baby 8 months old is 13 weeks pregnant. She must be MAD.

Jeanie- welcome back.
Algach- you look fab and mustve had a brilliant day. Congratulations.

prettymum · 15/04/2007 22:51

agalch!- wonderful pics!! so glad you had a wonderful day! ypu look stunning!

kz- hope everything turns out to be ok with ds and hope roshi gets over the bug soon {{{{hugs}}}}

goodnight xx

JeanieG · 15/04/2007 23:03

Evening all,

Thank you all very much for all your kind words.

Algach- how gorgeous are you?? You all look really happy and what a lovely place to have your special day.

KZ- I stupidly didn't mention to the school that he was being assessed, as places are based on an examination results so I didn't think it would make any difference. However, now I think it's probably for the best he isn't going there as he probably wouldn't be able to cope with the demands, homework (2 hours each evening , and I can't even get him to complete his homework once a week now), etc. I tell you, this is THE hardest thing I have had to do as a parent to date.

How is Roshi this evening, hope she is feeling a bit better. Your little girl is soooo beautiful, I just want to eat her. As for the screeching and diva demands, she sounds just like Abbey.

What is vitiligo?

Hi Pavlov-nice to meet you. The dress is lovely by the way.

HC-I reckon she was just having too much fun and having to stop and go ALLLL the way to the bathroom is a nightmare. If you think that's bad, my DS pooed in a cup not so long ago . Still never found out why?? Kids are very strange.

SIFTW- good luck for your interview tomorrow. Hope all goes well. That's a big drive you have there though, I just to think 30 mins travel time to work was bad. I used to take snacks for the journey!!

Bloss-your weekend sounds ace. I told my friend about that Thomas place cos her DS absolutely adores him, but we are way too far away. And as for a bikini, I was delighted with myself for wearing a dress last night!!

Hiya to everyone else, I'd better stop now otherwise I will sit here ALL night and I've still got to iron uniforms and sort out packed lunches. I am soo glad kids are back tomorrow. We have had a lovely time during the holidays, but I need a rest, am knackered.

Night all, hope weather stays like this

Jeanie

PavlovtheCat · 15/04/2007 23:14

Off to bed in prep for work tomorrow.
Oh I hate work. Is one week back too soon to be ill? LOL only joking. I do feel under the weather, but first day of appointments (straight into it for me, two days and then bamm! there you go!) so I cant even think about it!

PavlovtheCat · 15/04/2007 23:15

Sorry, whole point of that last message was to say goodnight!

Good luck tomorrow KZ - I hope its positive news...

Ceebee74 · 16/04/2007 11:47

KZ ? glad the doctor gave you some good news. How is Roshi today? Is she better? Love the video ? I watched it on Saturday morning, it made me giggle, and then had a reenactment in Mothercare Saturday afternoon as we had to buy a hat for Josh and did he want any of them on his head??

Pav ? glad you got the dress, it is gorgeous. Sorry you are finding going to work difficult. I went through that in January when I went back as I was so upset mine and Josh?s ?baby bubble? was ending but, I know it sounds trite, but it does get easier and I now actually enjoy going to work ? just hate the job I have to go to iykwim.

Mrs Agalch ? what lovely wedding photos ? it looks like you all had a fabulous day to remember forever ? back to reality now though??

Jeanie ? so glad you have come back. Sorry things are rough with you Please come on here and say whatever you want, that is what we are here for. Gorgeous photos.

HC ? sad about the bf but well done for getting this far Lol at the poo incident (I know you didn?t find it funny though) ? I do think she was probably having too much fun to do mundane things like go to the loo.

Twinkle ? love the image of Aidan in the shopping trolly ? Josh is like that and could fall asleep on a log (as the saying goes). Saturday afternoon, he fell asleep on a rug in the garden ? and our garden is not flat and smooth by any means!!

Lysettes ? welcome back, hope the paed confirms it is nothing serious.

Kbaby ? glad the cc seems to be working?just keep thinking it will be worth it.

Josh?s latest trick is to play with his willy as soon as I take his nappy off ? which is fine most of the time but obviously not if he has had a big poo that has spread! I have to take the nappy off, keep his hands still and try and wipe all the same time ? great fun!

Also, big news?.Josh has 2 teeth coming at last (me posting that he hadn?t any obviously did the trick) ? his 2 top front teeth are coming through together ? still not out properly but can feel the sharp edges so they are on the way?aren?t babies supposed to get the bottom ones first though??

HumphreysCorner · 16/04/2007 11:48

Morning girls

Sleep-hope your interview goes well and safe journey.

kayzed-that sounds like reassuring news thank God. Where are the new pics?

Here are the pics I promised from yesterday. Sophie and Emma (5 minutes before the poo incident)

Have a good day all.

Ceebee74 · 16/04/2007 11:49

Xpost there HC - what great photos. Is that your garden? Am jealous as it looks so big!

AnnieOleTing · 16/04/2007 12:57

Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!

My boss is 'working at home' today, and I've done all I can here, so what should I do?
a) go home to my babies and the in-laws and get a bbq going
b) go shopping down oxford street or somewhere
c)go and sit in the park on my own eating ice cream
d)stay at work and go on Mumsnet all afternoon...

Decisions decisions...

We had a lovely weekend. Despite the in-laws arrival, but there's been no incidents yet!
DS was TWO yesterday!! I can't believe he's two. We had a few childless friends round, sat drinking wine in the garden, then the in-laws arrived and we went to the park for a picnic. Then back home for some cake and champagne. And then, the in-laws babysitted while me and DS went to the pub until closing!! Telling our mates how great it is having kids, while they were telling us how great it is to be able to travel and go out whenever they want... I think we won!!
So it was all lovely.

HC your girls are so beautiful!! I can't believe your DD1 would do anything naughty, a bit like the Queen, she never poos surely??? Beautiful girls.
Re my injections, it's for my RA, but I'm fine really, just hoping these new drugs will mean I can stop taking a million other tablets a day and feel good.

Ceebee, great news about Josh's teeth! generallly the bottom two come first, but it doesn't matter. Kayley still has none at all, and no signs of any, so he's not the last! She'll be nine months on Wednesday.

KZ, hope Roshi is better, and DS will be fine.

Jeanie, welcome back . Glad you are feeling a bit better. You're very brave to get through all that. Abbey is absolutely gorgeous!!! But you know that!!!

First, don't you just love summer!! Beer gardens and barbeques. Mmmm.

Mrs Algach, CONGRATULATIONS again!! You looked fab, as did all of your clan. Now get up them stairs to bed... . I still can't say my married name all the time, and it's been five years nearly! You're still YOU!

Time to go. I smell chocolate...

Annie

HumphreysCorner · 16/04/2007 12:57

Ceebee-too big really. Plot is 265 feet long and 62 feet wide. Was just a field when we bought it to build on and it was easier to manage pre-children. As is everything.

lol at Josh playing with his willy-have heard they all do that. And teeth now-bless him.

AnnieOleTing · 16/04/2007 12:59

KZ I don't know what Higs are so here's some instead

x

HumphreysCorner · 16/04/2007 13:01

Annie-x posts. Deffo c)ice cream in the park alone. Happy 2nd B'Day for your DS-sounds like a heavenly day!

xxx

AnnieOleTing · 16/04/2007 13:09

HC the ice cream is very tempting, but I do need some new clothes for summer. Oh but it's too hot for shopping...
Oh the decisions...
Your garden does look great, your very own park!! Get some sheep, they'll cut the grass for you!!!

SleepIsForTheWeak · 16/04/2007 13:54

ice cream alone yes!

KZ, glad your doctor doesn't think it is anything to worry about, but I understand how worrying that would be for you

Had a morning from hell.... stuck on trains etc, back late to the babysitter, sigh. Interview was OK, but annoying cos the man who was supposed to interview me couldn't make it so this really young guy did it (Don't you just hate that? I think he was more nervous than me!) but he was "very impressed" with my portfolio - blah blah blah - we'll see.
The whole thign - tranpost and baby sitter cos me over £100 which makes me feel sick, but guess it will be worth it if I get the work. Jeanie, I will work from home so the travel thing will be fine! Prob just have to pop in from time to time.

Sefton didn't seem that bothere when I left, or that interested when I got home! The little traitor!!!

IamBlossom · 16/04/2007 14:03

Annie - can't you stay at work and mumsnet whilst eating icecream and phone your babies for a chat? that way no inlaws - shop online too! There you go, only thing I haven't helped you with is the tan...

KZ honey, so glad the doc was a bit reassuring, has it allayed your fears??

HC, that paddling pool pisses all over ours! Don't let H see it for gods sake. Just got ours all operational again for this afternoon for H and guests arriving at 3pm....Both boys asleep, bliss...

IamBlossom · 16/04/2007 14:04

Sleep that is so annoying couldn't they have phoned! What an arse!
