Us those pictures are just divine, what fantastic blue eyse he has, and look at him standing up! Toby is nowhere NEAR doing that....

HC, you are right she does look like an angel, how sweet!

Hi 1st - [waves]

Hi everyone else, gorge day eh?

KZ, big bosom hug to your poorly head and having to deal a) buying a house and b) it being 12000 miles away with a leccy station near it. Streeeeeeeessssssssss........

AnnieOleTing · 13/04/2007 14:20

Hi All,

Don't have time to reply to everyone, but I hope things are better for you Us, and HC, and those of you feeling poorly.
Koshka, Bloss, HC, and Us, FANTastic photos!!

Nothing much to report here, had a lovely Easter, lots of barbeques, and beer gardens.
Have found a way of keeping both babies amused for the duration of a pint, hummous and breadsticks... just hummous for Kayley though. And don't forget the wetwipes...

Had my first injection today for my new fancy drugs, but once I lifted the pen off my thigh, it all dribbled everywhere. So I don't think any went in. WHoops! Try again in two weeks, hopefully it'll go better. Still feel fine though.

Kayley is crawling AT SPEED now! And loves to stand, she can easily pull herself up holding on to something or other (usually my legs when I'm eating something on my lap).
Still wakes several times a night though... YAWN...

Ooh COngratulations Mrs Algach!!
And you too Jersey, you brave woman...

Best go, have a lovely weekend everyone

Annie

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 14:31

First - thanks for advice re work, home routines are fine, but work, well thats another story, still dont know what hours/days I will be working long term, had to put in formal flexible working proposal. Done that, now waiting.

LO slept for 2.5 hours this lunch time, ate a huge pot of fish and tomato/vegetable sauce, some pasta pieces with pesto, two peices of brocolli, and half pot of rice pudding . I would say she is on agrowth spurt yeah?

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 14:32

oh, and 4 teeth on top now, well, three and one coming through (not the front two tho, one front and two eye teeth! odd eh?

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 14:40

Got to add some piccies, the one in the highchair is her falling out of one (not quite as strapped in but moved her feet!), It was funny as!

ball pool beach and out to dinner!

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 15:43

ok, urgent important wedding dress advice needed please ladies...!
What do you think of this...is it a bargain, should I buy it? My theory is, it is sooo cheap that should I not like it, I could re-sell it?!!

here

Ceebee74 · 13/04/2007 19:34

Haven't got time for a full post atm, but hi to all.

PAv - the dress if gorgeous - if it is not too late, buy it!

Also, just wanted to share that have just found out my brother's gf is pg - they have been TTC for 2 years so it really is fab news. Not sure how far gone she is but he just said very early so maybe 5-6 weeks??

Will catch up soon x

Wallace · 13/04/2007 20:45

love the phots hc, us and pav

pav - he dress went with no bids - buy it if you can, i's lovely

still no teeth

almost crawling! shuffles around backwards on his tummy.

sorry I haven't much time at mo!

HumphreysCorner · 13/04/2007 20:45

Pavlov-yes, I really like that dress. It is the sort of style I would choose. Had my dress professionally cleaned amd it was a fortune so you are getting a good deal (especially if you can get it for £50 + postage). Your DD is very sweet-reminds me of Sophie but I do believe Sophie could be bigger than your DD now

Ceebee-what lovely news about your brother and GF. That is a long time to be TTC-hope all goes well.

Annie-did we know about your injections? Have I missed it if you mentioned something?

Have used all my points today and am desperate for choc buttons.

Sophie had a little feed before bed tonight.

Love to all

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 20:57

I just posted this elsewhere but you got to see how much my LO ate, I reckon she will be as big as Sophie soon Humphrey!

7:00am - BF x 2 (as she missed two feeds at night!)
8:30am. Toast and philly, prolly half a slice? Baby muesli, most of a pot.

10:30am - BF, one x lots (due to missed feed!)

1:30pm - large (tommee tippee baby pot) of fish, tomato and veg, two bits of brocolli, two bits of pasta and pesto, one peice of cheese, 3/4 pot of rice pudding

3:00pm. BF.

4:30pm 1+ 1/2 pots ypghurt (did not like the veg and lentils I cooked!)

6:30pm - 3/4 pot porridge
7:00pm - BF - sleep.

Growth spurt or what?!!

The dress, I was so undecided I did not bid, and now wish I had, so I am about to email her! I am, just nervous in case I dont like it, in case it is not 'wedding dressy' if you know what I mean. I did not want a dress with big hoops and frills, but really, I think maybe deep down I do?!! Cos it doesnt have a hoop, and is not boned, it might not be a real one!! Oh dear! How much stress can you get with a poxy dress!

IamBlossom · 13/04/2007 20:59

HC that's good about Sophie feeding.........do you feel better?

Yes Annie mentioned some new drugs she was going to be trying, me thinks some of it at least needs to be going in though Annie, not leaking down your thigh??

Pav, gorge dress, love the way it fans out when she sits down, it says bids have ended, have you got it? And I am so jealous of where you LIVE!! Fantastic pic of the beach, looks amazing. And that first one of you all with the little flower, she is very sweet.

Algach. Pictures. Now. Put down your HUSBAND and post some pics of the wedding, can't wait.

CeeBee fantastic news about your brother and his GF so happpy for them!

Friday night is red wine night, doo dah, Friday night is red wine night doo dah doo dah deeeeeeey....

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 21:01

Wallace - good to hear form you, you ok?

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 21:05

Iam - I dont actually live by that beach - Live in the middle of Plymouth City Centre but beach is about 20 min drive, it was during the week before hols atarted at about 4:30pm, we took LO for her tea there and it was very quiet - it is hard to get to, not signposted, just an old professor type bloke and his wife who looked like they had lived there all year! Ph and some people fire juggling at the other end for a bit! I am lucky tho, am from London, so now get best of both worlds.

PavlovtheCat · 13/04/2007 21:16

Iam - enjoy the vino! I ahve a bar set up now in the front room, on top of fire guard, we have a box of wine...oh dear!

So, I am off for a night of indian take away and wine, atmosphere of incense, candles, Jack Johnson tunes. Must dash, poppadoms have been brought out and are being fed to the cat!!!

MaeWest · 13/04/2007 21:20

Off to bed soon, try and get some sleep before partytime starts . Think it's teeth, poor boy.

algach - congratulations, glad you had a lovely day. Def want to see photos! I love weddings, makes me feel all sentimental .

HC - read your other thread about bf, hope you manage to find a way through it. Sophie is a very lucky baby to be getting b-milk at 9 months.

usandnosleep - good to hear from you too, lovely photos of your little dude. Standing up as well! Hope you and DP keep talking. The number of times I've blown up with DH over the past 9 months due to knackeredness is slightly embarrassing

OP posts:
IamBlossom · 13/04/2007 21:25

well I let RIP at DH this week during an episode of the apprentice after 2 large gin and tonics - I HATE racism, and as soon as anyone says anything like "I'm not a racist but...." my hackles go up. DH looks at that Trey bloke on the Apprentice and mutters something about the Taliban and shooting somone and I just exploded. Went on for about half an hour about how stupid a thing to say it was, and how it offends me, and that if he professes not to be a racist, why does he say racist things and propagate racist beliefs etc.... and if he passes it on to my kids whether consciously or not how devastated i'd be etc. Cue WW3. Fine next day, but jesus I did really let rip....

Twinklemegan · 13/04/2007 22:41

Sleep ? Aidan?s nowhere near that routine! He is always desperate for his morning milk at around 6ish and a 2-3 hour sleep in the morning . We?re lucky if he has an hour. It?s interesting how many drinks are recommended from cups. Aidan is perfectly capable of drinking from his Tommee Tippee beaker but he hardly takes any water at lunchtime so I?m really anxious about trying any of his milk in the beaker ? especially since he waves it around all over the place. How are other people getting on with this (I know Roshi is doing great with her doidy KZ ? I?m thinking of getting one for Aidan).

Us ? yes Aidan is VERY strongwilled. Nappy changes are a nightmare now as he just will not keep still and just wants to crawl around the bed. Spoons get grabbed and chucked on the floor. And if you try to take something from him that he wants ? cor that boy has got a temper! Pretending to use the phone? Aww ? that?s so sweet! And lovely pics ? can?t believe how well some of your LO?s are standing ? Aidan?s only just learning to do that.

HC ? Sophie is gorgeous!

I really must get around to posting some more pics of Aidan when I've uploaded them. Perhaps this weekend. Did I say before that his first tooth has come through?

And that irritated screech does sound SOOO familiar

Twinklemegan · 13/04/2007 23:12

WOW - how amazing to see a video of one of our July 2006 babes! She's obviously strong-willed bless her (though I'd pretty much gathered that already )
