Hi all. Well I've tried to catch up with this thread but its too long. As far as I can tell, chacha had her 2nd DS a month ago, nova had Gene last week & poor beksmum has had a run of bad luck recently. Has anything else major happened whilst I've been away? (apart from not being able to talk about you know who )
GG - about teeth, DD has 14 teeth with no.15 coming through. Mind you, she has an embarrassing lack of hair. Oh well, you can't have everything, can you?
Londoner Hello again! It's snowing here too. Would love to be able to show Ella some proper snow but its not really lying.
Brownie did you used to be browniechick? Good luck with the hair. I get like that sometimes....I suddenly get the urge to get a new hairstyle & won't rest till its done. Any nice styles in the magazines?
Feetheart Hello again. I've just discovered Hotel Chocolat & boy, does it look good!! I'm hoping for one of their Easter Eggs this year, I've started dropping hints! A bit pricey at £17 but you do get a lot of choccy, don't you?
Laylaandsethsmum Hi, I totally know what you mean about getting crappy cards. Its worse than not getting one in the first place. I remember when I got divorced from ex & my SIL suddenly started sending me crappy Christmas cards instead of the usual nice ones. I knew I was persona non grata from then on. Never mind, once you start getting handmade ones from your LOs it makes up for the useless efforts your DH/DPs buy you!! I don't think men get the whole "card thing" like we do.
Congrats to Nova & chacha on their new arrivals. When I'm chasing around after E I occasionally stop & thank my lucky stars I don't have a brand new baby too, although I'm sure its pretty fab. You girls must be exhausted! Is the BF still going well, Chacha?
Got a question for you all. I'm interested to know how many words your LOs are using. Proper recognisable words. Ella "talks" a lot but its gibberish mainly. She does point & say "that" but I think she should be trying to copy some words by now. Would love to hear what you all think.
Finally, why are "forbidden" non-toy items much more appealing than bright colourful educational toys to a toddler????
