Well, ds2 has his milk about 4 or 5, depending how early he wakes... must be instantly though . Then if i'm alone, he refuses to go back to sleep, and whinges, sometimes plays a little bit. Then its brekkie by 7 at the latest. Dh somehow forces him back to sleep in our bed if he's around, god knows how. Like csws, I cant put ds2 down to make porridge or even have a wee[ hmm] but dh can. Although if he doesnt put him in the highchair, he follows him to the loo and screams to be let in(dh refuses to leave the door open!).

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 22:00

Another ouch!

I'm following up the various leads - although the grant situation seems a bit thin on the ground round here... I seem to be needing to be a ethnic minority or out of care! Emailed the journalist woman too

Ebay I'm avoiding right now, mainly because of the cloth nappy hoohah going on with them! I'm waiting til they are talking sense again

Frizbe · 27/02/2007 22:07

right I'm off ladies, shameless is calling me! catch you all tomorrow

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 22:09

pmsl @ you lot on the nappies!!!

THANKYOU

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 27/02/2007 22:10

Frizbe - she has a bf in bed with me when she wakes, and then I give her a cup of rice or oat milk when we come downstairs which she keeps until after breakfast (and if I'm lucky she even takes a few glugs of ).

She'll often be fine whilst we're upstairs - this morning I had a shower whilst she ransacked the bedroom and watched tv all before breakfast, but she still starts again as soon as we come downstairs!

mustrunmore · 27/02/2007 22:17

Can i just give you an insight into brekkie with ds1 now he's feeling better? Firstly, he'd only go down to eat if he could wear my swimming goggles (which I had to guess by 'I'm looking for that rubber thing in your drawer with the fish on'!)
Then, as I handed him his bowl... "this weetabix is having a bath in milk. I know someone else who did that; Cleopatra"

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 27/02/2007 22:20
Grin
mustrunmore · 27/02/2007 22:24

We were also woken at 2am by the sound of him rooting through his toybox by torchlight Not impressed. When asked what he was doing, he said he was hungry and might find a snack in there!

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 27/02/2007 22:25

Good to hear he's got his appetite back. Do think you should try keeping food in the kitchen cupboards like everyone else though.

MrCSWS · 27/02/2007 22:46

CSWS

For meet up, i see no problem

Good night, love u

PhoenixGirl · 27/02/2007 22:47

Awwwwwwwww

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 22:50

Aww, we love you too MrCSWS

DD wouldn't know who cleopatra is (unless she's been on dora...) - really should talk to the child more!

@ the snacks in toybox - DD always dropped biscuits in hers when she was younger!!! I would go to give it a clear out and find half a pack of rich tea in various stages of floppiness - DS just inhales and they are gone

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 23:06

any opinions?

PhoenixGirl · 27/02/2007 23:09

I jst rated them

Prefer the 1st one.

Will ask dh when he comes down.

PhoenixGirl · 27/02/2007 23:13

dh says the second one. Actually can i change my mind. I like the second one after looking again.

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 23:27

I'm not entirely convinced by either - so you can change your mind all you like

PhoenixGirl · 27/02/2007 23:27

Righty ho i'm off to bed now (and dh wants the laptop so i'm been kicked off) night night x

Flamesparrow · 27/02/2007 23:29

night night

Chloe55 · 28/02/2007 08:39

I prefer the second one - I have commented as to my reasons why.

Well ds has gne to nursery, lets hope he eats there because he has been waking up about 6 times in the night what does he expect if he doesn't bloody eat!!!

Have a banging headache, can't be bothered with work and especially can't be bothered to go for a run after - but after putting on 2.5lbs at weight watchers last night I haven't got a choice!

mustrunmore · 28/02/2007 08:42

We both like the first one. But dh likes it because he can see it beter without getting up off the settee

Flamesparrow · 28/02/2007 08:52

It won't show me the comments

Chloe for non-eating and your head

Flamesparrow · 28/02/2007 08:54

I think I prefer the first one because it is less floaty... sort of that its a fluffy name without too much fluffy writing too?

I dunno... do we actually yell YES at the design in general!??!

CanSleepWeirdShifts · 28/02/2007 08:56

I like the first one.

Chloe - are you sure he's not still teething?

Chloe55 · 28/02/2007 09:05

I think he is possibly teething CSWS, normally the teething doesn't put him off food though - I actually think it is a little bit pyschological because he eats bananas without an issue - and I gave him one of those orange bear biscuits yesterday which he wolfed down, he just shakes his head at more or less everything else at the mo. The waking in the night is probably a mixture of teething and hunger though.

Flame - I basically said that the first one stands out more but I actually like the 2nd one because it looked more bumfluffy. Either look good though, I like the design.

Jelley · 28/02/2007 09:16

I prefer the first one, too but the general design is good.

Back later, we're off for ds to have his first of the meningistis injections (don't know if he need two or not)
