DS got his first shoes today too, some blue clarks ones - they are very cute!!!

Well my sister has spoken to DH tonight and he was very drunk and very emotional. Said that he doesnt know if we can get back together it may be time to go our separate ways but whatever happens he will make sure me and DS are ok. He said he hoped we could sort it out. my sister reckons he is now full of regrets - she believes he hasnt had an affair and said to let him have space to think it all over for a few days so thats what I'm going to do. Still going to get advice in the morning though as I want to know we will be ok financially but I do hope we can sort it out. He just has to make a promise not to lie to me again and to steer well clear from her in future and it may work. He said there have been problems for about 5 months but he has never spoken to me about them so this will be another hurdle to tackle as he needs to learn to talk to me more. He literally cried down the phone to her so we will see what tomorrow brings.

Right off to bed now, CSWS hope Pippa is ok now. These toothie pegs give them lots of grief!!

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 01:16

I'm here but not here today iyswim (waiting for nappies to finish before bed).

Not a lot to say - went to birthday party yesterday... walked there, got DH to come get babies later on and drank a lot of wine Great night! Today just rushing round trying to get stuff done.

DS's bum now has more weird sores. He finished all his meds and it hasn't changed anything, so back to the doctors next week Even in disposables tonight in the hopes that it might have some effect (its definately not a cloth reaction, but I don't want it aggravating it iyswim). They had chlorine etc free nappies in Sains for the same price as huggies, so I am slightly happier about it.

Shoes... i'm a mean woman - he's been walking about 2 months now but he ain't havin shoes til the summer.

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 07:11

what size feet is he flame? Bit of a long shot but Luca had some which he wore all of once and now they are too small. They are Clarkes cruisers, size 3G. You can have em if they fit (unlikely, I know).

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 07:35

Not a clue what size feet he is He's in socks all the time, never even bother with soft shoes. I think he's bigger than DD was at this age though, so probably more of a 3 1/2 or a 4. I produce children with weird shape feet too so the width is always odd (they are narrow, but high rise, so we always have issues).. thank you anyway. I'm going with the theory that he's not going to be walking outside until the summer because he'll dive in mud at the moment, so he can wait til then.

Much better night - only one waking at 2.45, got given a bottle and went straight back to sleep... now we need to watch for the next few nights to find out if it is down to the nappies () or just coincidence.

We're on half term this week... DD went to bed with no pull ups last night, so we'll see if she can go through the waking up stage and stay dry. Then poddling round the house for the morning, hoping they will amuse themselves so I can look into the grants more, and then they are playing with Psycho and 10 kids this afternoon whilst I go to the dentist .

to 3K

Tabs - Hope Pippa's teeth are happier.

Everyone else I've forgotten

Happy Birthday Anya! (Still love that name)

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 07:38

DRY BED!

Jelley · 19/02/2007 07:41

I don't have shoes either (not a surprise for those who met us and know I don't dress him in proper clothes half the time either!)
I bought him some pram shoes last week, and lost one on the bus the same day, so won't be buying more.
He's still not walking yet anyway so I'm saving the money for a bit longer.

Happy birthday Anya

Last day off before the dds go back to school today
Nothing planned, except errands, shopping and laundry.

I may tie dye some nappies though, as I have to make dd1 a Roman outfit, and she is insistant the outer wrap be red

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 08:33

I only dress him about 50% of the time... its mainly cos Psycho tells me off if I don't!

mustrunmore · 19/02/2007 08:34

Well, I've got some blue and white pram shoes (12-18 months supposedly) if anyone wants them, and some clarks 4.5 h (I think they're h but could be g, will check). You have till Thjursday to claim then, else giving them to charity shop!!!
Slightly that you still havent bought shoes when ds2 is on his secoond pair!

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 08:57

Don't let em loose outside and you don't have to

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 09:13

You don't dress him? Please don't tell me you leave him in his pj's all day

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 09:15

Nothin wrong with PJs... all snuggly and they bloody stay on (the disposables means he can yank his trousers off today ... given up now and have left him in just nappy)

PhoenixGirl · 19/02/2007 09:25

Lewis has had 2 pairs of Clarks cruisers, the first pair he wore all the time, the second pair he's probably only wore about 3 times since Jan cos he now knows how to get them off and will not keep them on so i gave up on em and just leave barefoot or socks but he takes them off too

He's not walking yet either. My grandma's gonna buy him his next pair anyway, a late birthday pressie. We've bought him some gorgeous little adidas trainers in a size 5 they should fit him in the summer. He's a size 3.5 or 4 now.

Oh flame nappy order 1 came today Thank you x

Happy Birthday Anya

mustrunmore · 19/02/2007 09:25

how differently my mind works. When I read you dont dress him, I pictured a naked baby in the snow

PhoenixGirl · 19/02/2007 09:28

I love leaving Lew in his pj's all day

Mainly cos he hates getting dressed/undressed so its easier to leave him

He spent all day yesteray in a nappy and long sleeve vest

He's dressed today but he's getting all tangled up in his trousers cos they're too long. I've folded them up but he keeps pulling them back down when he's crawling

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 09:33

Well that happens too... its only if we go out I am forced to put the pjs on!

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 09:34

yay PG

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 09:43

Neither of mine wear trousers in the house. Ds1 takes his off the minute he walks through the door , but both are out of their pj's within a couple of hours of getting up.

Luca fell off the sofa today

Jelley · 19/02/2007 09:50

I only put ds in proper clothes if he is going to be "on show" (and sometimes not even then). The rest of the time he's in sleepsuits - a clean one - or nappy and vest.

The dds prefer to stay in pjs, too. I have to give them a reason to get dressed. If we aren't going out, they often don't bother. We stayed in yesterday and dd2 just changed her nightie for a clean one.
We are all dressed today. Going out in a bit.

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 09:53
Shock
Jelley · 19/02/2007 09:56

I love that you are shocked!

His feet stay warm in a sleepsuit, and it's easier for me.

mustrunmore · 19/02/2007 10:03

If only we didnt have to take ds1 to nursery, I'd be in pjs too!!! (that, and the chance of unexpected offers to play next door!)

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 10:03

Ds1 hasn't worn a sleepsuit since he was about 6 months old. The ony time I let them stay in their pj's is when they are really ill.

I'm a mean mummy

I heard ds1 talking to ds2 yesterday. The conversation went "if you are naughty one more time, I wll smack your bottom, have I made myself clear? Do you UNDERSTAND'

2boysmacca · 19/02/2007 10:05

Nooooooo!

Come on CSWS, I need some support here, please tell me you dress Pippa too....???

Flamesparrow · 19/02/2007 10:07

My first day Pippa wasn't dressed all day... was a disgrace

Jelley · 19/02/2007 10:08

DS will be in sleepsuits til he is out of nappies!(At night, at least)

It's funny and embarrasing at the same time when you hear your words/tone coming out of the mouth of your small child. The dds are often heard telling their dolls "I will get cross" or "Do you want to go to bed?"
