Hales bless you! Hopefully they find a replacement really soon or you can agree to s notice period. Hope your last few weeks at the chippy are ok.

WL I hope T has recovered from the jabs now.

DS still looks really pale. I guess whatever he had he isn't 100% over it yet. This morning he told me I should have a new baby growing in my tummy. He needs a brother and DD needs a sister apparently.
DH asked if I want another baby, I actually said I don't know Confused a part of me does and a part of me doesn't. So...... I guess that leaves us with 2?

WreckTangled · 30/05/2016 19:02

I'm over having another baby now. Sort of. I will always wish to be pregnant and bf again have newborn snuggles etc but life is getting sooooo much easier. Ie I took the dc on the train to London on my own and it was great! I can go out with just my small bag again, we can go out to dinner spontaneously on a Friday evening with the dc and we can go to Disneyland without worrying who will hold the baby Grin also we would never be able to afford it which is really the bottom line.

We're going to goodwood Friday. Can't wait. Am still dieting and shredding hoping to lose all my flab Hmm

Ds is being a bit of a pickle atm and it seems to only be getting worse! He's also very sweet though so I suppose I'll keep him.

WLmum · 30/05/2016 22:49

I can say for absolute certain that I don't want any more babies! I do look at pregnant women and new borns and think how lovely it is/was but...so much work (now not then). We're knackered all the time and running as fast we can all the time. I am very much looking forward to T being more independent and so possibly getting a little time and space back. at the same time I'm super sad about her growing up
Perhaps I should be banned from visiting db - love my gang though I do, his house is big and clean and tidy and he has lots free time to do whatever he wants and goes on multiple foreign holidays a year etc etc. and hasn't just had to de-worm the whole family

WLmum · 30/05/2016 22:52

Seriously though nutella you sound like you're on the no side of not sure. I know it's terrible scary to say no, but I think you'd know (in your secret heart of hearts) if you did want another baby. Maybe take it off the table for a couple of months and then come back to see if you still feel the same. I love having 3 and def wasn't done after 2 but it is harder and more expensive and delays the time until you get some adultness back so not something to do on the off chance!

WLmum · 30/05/2016 22:53

tangled tell me how much weight you're losing and how much fitter/firmer you are to give me a kick up the arse please.

WreckTangled · 31/05/2016 05:39

WL I'm sorry to say that I haven't lost any weight! I've been eating really healthily as well! BUT I have some before and current (half way through) photos. I'll put them on fb.

MrsNutella · 31/05/2016 06:21

I really need to loose weight. Ideally about three stone. But I have been terrible at losing weight this year. I have actually been putting weight on! SadBlush I'm trying to get myself together and get on and do something about it. DH is also being a bit better at listening.

WL realistically it is a no at the moment. I know I don't want it enough right now. And that's ok. I'm open to it changing in the future. But it's hard. I suppose I better get on and sell the buggy Confused we carry the DC when out if we need to and haven't used the buggy in months.

I do miss wrapping up a newborn in the stretchy and carrying them close. It's not the same with a giant toddler on your back Grin

halestone · 31/05/2016 15:25

When i went into the chippy on Saturday night about 15 minutes before the end of the shift, my boss told me the other girls have agreed to cover my shifts. So Saturday was my last one i'm made up but a bit sad as well as i didn't get to say goodbye to my favourite customers.

I worked on the taxis on the bank holiday some of the stories i heard were shocking. For example the woman who was in the taxi with her DH's best friend and she told me about how she was sleeping with both of them Shock

Nutella i agree with WL maybe wait a few months/years before making the decision that suits you most. I, at the minute and firmly in the no more children camp. As much as i would like another, DP doesn't and i think the emotional fall out for my DSD would be awful. I am not willing to put her through that.

WLmum · 31/05/2016 21:34

hales that's hilarious - I bet you'll get some right funny ones!

MrsNutella · 02/06/2016 09:37

hales please please share your tales with us! I bet you will hear stuff that (as my Mum/Gran would say) will make your hair curl! Wink

DS is so super happy at KiGa. I love it! This week the weather has been all over the place. When it has been hot enough they have a water pump for the kids to play with and get filthy dirty. The other day I picked him up and he needed a shower before I could dress him.
We were ready to go in only about 40 minutes - I also helped one of his friends undress and another get dressed. It was really cute, there is a lovely little group of kids DS' age.

But now I have a gammy eye and feel like poo. So it's a day on the sofa for me Sad

GeoffreysGoat · 03/06/2016 19:03

Oops I fell off! Have a Brew

How's the eye, nut?

MrsNutella · 03/06/2016 21:22

It's still swollen. Red. A bit weepy and generally crap. But tomorrow DH is taking the terrors to the PIL and I am going to stay at home. Hurrah! I'm really looking forward to it. Although I might ruin the nothingness and go shopping....

WreckTangled · 04/06/2016 06:20

I drank too much last night Brew

GeoffreysGoat · 04/06/2016 08:09

Was it fun though wreck

WreckTangled · 04/06/2016 08:18

Yes it was really good! Paying for it now though....

halestone · 05/06/2016 23:12

BrewCake for your hangover wrecked. I hope your recovered now.

Nutella how was your day alone?

Well H went morris dancing today! She loves it even though i hate it, so i will have to lump it for now. I will put some pics on fb in a minute.

I hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine this weekend.

MrsNutella · 06/06/2016 10:05

I am so amazing I have cleaned my I oven.

On the bottle it says to let the product sit for 20 minutes.... For really mucky ovens leave r a bit longer. I went with 12 hours. It looks like just the right amount of time! Grin soooo shiny.

But definitely buying a self cleaning oven when I win the lottery

halestone · 06/06/2016 14:25

Come to England and clean mine Grin pleasseee.

WreckTangled · 06/06/2016 15:13

We paid something to clean our oven.

It's 27 degrees here today.

Bought the dc shoes this morning. £124 for three pairs (2 sandals 1 trainers)

MrsNutella · 06/06/2016 20:07

hales i really really need a job.... But cleaning ovens is not high on my list of ideas for self employment Grin. Actually on the tin of oven cleaner it said to spray it on and let the product work for 20 minutes. But for really mucky ovens you might want to leave it a bit longer.

I went with 12 hours. Did the job nicely.
Look at that.... I'm so proud.

Wreck I like the idea of paying someone to clean my oven but ... It is a really satisfying thing to have done I need to get out more
Yes. Shoes are really bloody expensive!

December 2012: we thought the terrible twos were bad, here come the threenagers!
GeoffreysGoat · 06/06/2016 21:53

I thought you were doing something with nappies?

MrsNutella · 07/06/2016 09:16

I want to but I keep stumbling and losing any kind of confidence in myself Sad and seem to be no further forward.

GeoffreysGoat · 07/06/2016 13:04

Anything we can do to help?

WreckTangled · 07/06/2016 17:57

Dh and I have just had a big argument because ds wet himself on the stairs. He tried to get into the bathroom (we only have one) but Dh had locked the bloody door again! Makes me so cross Angry now he's in the worst mood ever because of it, he doesn't seem to get that when you have young children you lose the right to lock the bathroom door!

halestone · 08/06/2016 10:38

Nutella, you will do well at anything, i have complete confidence in you.Flowers I know its an awful feeling to keep losing your confidence.

Wrecked, i hope things are sorted for you and Dh now. For what its worth i think your point of view is completely right, especially if you only have one toilet.
