Thanks hales. He was just annoying me last night.

I went spinning this morning. I really enjoyed it.

halestone · 08/06/2016 22:59

Can't live with them, can't live without them eh wrecked? Haha.

WLmum · 09/06/2016 16:32

And in my crazy world of work - today I have seen zebras and giraffes!

MrsNutella · 09/06/2016 18:41

wreck that is insensitive of him. Kids can't hold it like we can. DS did a wee on a tree on the way home today. When we got home I needed a wee. DS needed another wee. I let him wee first. Would have been fine if he didn't then start doing a dance in front of me saying "I need a poo" as I was trying to wee Confused I made him count as a distraction and then he could jump back on the loo..... Oh the fun of small children.

geoffrey could you set me up with a business plan so I know what I'm doing, how, in what order, what it will cost, how long it will take.... And put me in touch with suppliers.

GeoffreysGoat · 09/06/2016 18:46

What about like tjs, cc etc and import from China? Are cheapies available in Germany much?

WLmum · 09/06/2016 21:35

tangled I'd have been really cross too - I agree with you that you just can't lock the door to the only loo with small kids around, and I would have been cross with his sulk too!
nutella welcome aboard! Is there a small business advisory service there?

I fell off the thread for a bit as I was focussing on my 3 peaks challenge (climbing snowdon, scafel pile and Ben Nevis in 24 hours). Omg it was tough but it was amazing - there was snow on top of Ben Nevis! The travel between mountains was awful. The best bit is that as a collective we have raised over £12.5k for a kids charity Smile

halestone · 11/06/2016 18:10

Congratulations WLFlowersWine you must be really proud. I'm proud of you.

I'm waiting to go to work but my dad is at the Asda and he promised me chocolate. So i am sat impatiently waiting Smile

Barbeasty · 11/06/2016 19:28

My turn to fall off, bit no such lofty excuses!

Today was the school fete. 5 hours on my feet, mainly running the hook a duck stall. Enjoying a large glass of wine now.

Wow WL you're amazing!!

Ds is so naughty when dd is around, honestly separately they're lovely but together they're horrible!!

WLmum · 11/06/2016 21:19

Awww hales you're so lovely! I am proud but feeling my age as in still knackered a week on! This time last week I had just finished scafel pike and was heading to Ben Nevis.
Hope you're at work now with some good uns in the back.
beasty I love a hook a duck!
tangled mine are always lovely when I have 121 with them but often drive me mental when all together. The builder thought the noise and chaos today was hilarious (because he gets to go home to p&q) and said my efforts to make a shopping list sounded like I was doing it with someone with Tourette's! That would be 'apples' 'chocolate!' 'Carrots' 'chocolate!' 'Peppers' 'chocolate!' Etc!

halestone · 12/06/2016 21:23

Last night there was a lovely young couple in the back of the taxi. We were gabbing away when suddenly he blurts out to his girlfriend 'so when are we going to have a baby then?' It got very awkward so I turned my music up to allow them to talk in private not so loud that i wouldn't be able to hear though

Beasty, that glass of wine sounds well deserved.

Tangled H and Dsd are like that and its amazing how easily Dsd crys when knocked by H.

WL i love that your tourettes word is chocolate. I think that would be mine as well.

My Dsis took H to soft play yesterday. H overhead one of Dsis's friends swear. We only realised she had heard when she told us matter of factly that 'DN is a Dick Head' whilst trying not to choke i had to explain thats a bad word and not to say it. It does confuse me that toddlers always seem to swear in the right context.

WLmum · 12/06/2016 22:18

hales my Tourette's word would be much more traditional! Chocolate was the dds!
Dm told me today that the exact pain she had before her diagnosis and ops is back Sad. She has an apt with the oncologist on Tuesday.

halestone · 12/06/2016 22:46

WL Flowers for you and your mum i have everything crossed for good news on Tuesday. We are all here for you. Unmumnetty hugs for you both.

WLmum · 12/06/2016 22:49

Thank you lovely.

MrsNutella · 13/06/2016 07:25

WL FlowersArchersCakeBrewWine as necessary. I have no idea what the flag is about but I don't think I'll get much chance to use it so.... Everything crossed for your DM.

Hales you didn't turn round and tell them about the joy of parenthood then?? Wink

I remember watching a programme about Tourette's. Apparently the words you are likely to shout are those which are for you most forbidden. So the son of a vicar was constantly blasphemous Grin that amused me. Has anyone seen the South Park episode where Eric develops Tourette's?

GeoffreysGoat · 13/06/2016 15:24

Hugs WL x

halestone · 14/06/2016 09:05

Thinking of you and your mum WL.

Haha Nutella, no they were so excited about their plans. Well tbh he was more excited than she was. I envied that youthful expectation that everything would just fall into place when they wanted it to happen. He was asking her to plan with her friends to all be pregnant at the same time so they could have Maternity leave together.

WLmum · 14/06/2016 22:26

Dms treatment has stopped working, she has new tumours on her liver and so will be starting chemo in the coming weeks. Tough times ahead.

WreckTangled · 15/06/2016 06:14

Oh WL I'm really sorry to hear that SadFlowersFlowers

MrsNutella · 15/06/2016 07:48

Oh WL BrewCake for the time ahead. You're in my thoughts. Your mum too. Flowers

halestone · 15/06/2016 14:29

WL thats awful news. We're here if you need us. WineFlowersFlowersChocolate I am thinking of you all xxx(intentional kisses)

WLmum · 15/06/2016 22:09

Thanks ladies. Spoke to my boss about reducing my hours today, she was lovely as always. Hopefully will be back down to 3.5 days a week soon and she was happy for me to do my half day on hours to suit, so could start at 7 and finish by 11 for example, or 3 til 7 etc.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 15/06/2016 22:35

I'm so sorry WL. Hugs to you and your mum xx

halestone · 16/06/2016 20:13

I love your boss WL.

I went out in the taxi this afternoon but ended up giving up at 4:30 there were so many floods that the roads were impassable in places. I went in the office and explained why i was giving up and told them all the roads which i had seen shut. There were 6 people still waiting for taxi's and only 1 taxi still working when i knocked off. Someone had actually put on facebook its too dangerous for me to drive so i've rang a taxi and now have to wait for ages! ( Well durrr if its too dangerous for driving why would taxi's be out?

MrsNutella · 16/06/2016 21:26

WL your boss is fantastic! So glad that she is happy to be flexible for you.
Hope you're ok otherwise.

hales where do people need to go to so badly? If they just want to Gerke I can understand but there really can't be a huge need to go out in such bad weather.

DH is watching the football.... It's boring. Really really boring. DS is super cute about football though. He doesn't really get it, he is just excited because on the days that Germany plays they have a little party at Kindergarten.

He has also been collecting football cards from the supermarket (well we have, you get one every time you spend 10€, depending on how nicely you talk to the checkout girl if you're DS you get six cards just because you asked nicely and said please )and we collected his cards in a special book thing - like the bigger boys at KiGa. Then he took his book to KiGa on Monday and another kid emptied it Sad
DS was so upset by it DH has ordered 100 via eBay - God knows where the people got them from - he is a giant softy!
