T wants to be a sciencetist when she grows up.

WLmum · 21/03/2017 22:20

Since dd1 showed her some school science with cornflower, and eggs in vinegar.

WreckTangled · 22/03/2017 06:54

Ds says he can't damember things it's funny because his little friend says exactly the same.

PurplePidjin · 23/03/2017 12:28

Aww these are great. R uses the destructions to make things but that comes from me I think 😂

MrsNutella · 23/03/2017 12:36

Pidj I had forgotten about sweeteners... they also send DS doolally!

We have a few translation errors which I find interesting, DD will say "i like it not" which is the German order IYSWIM. DS often says "last day" instead of yesterday, that really irritates me though Confused I don't know why.

Oh, a mispronunciation by DS is "klestion" instead of question. Gets annoying by the 100th "mummy, I just want to ask you a klestion" at 2 or 3 or 4 am when he is fighting to stay awake.

WreckTangled · 23/03/2017 15:04

Oh another one... Blueblies (blueberries) I like that one Grin he actually mispronounces a lot of words. He will get there though I'm sure.

WLmum · 23/03/2017 17:33

Love these. I always said I would write them down and I didn't so have forgotten most from all 3 dds. Dd1 used to panio instead of piano - I was so said when she got it right, and you and me round the wrong way Grin. Dd2 used to say button moder for remote control and top head for forehead.

WLmum · 26/03/2017 22:17

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

MrsNutella · 27/03/2017 20:17

Thanks wl hope yours was lovely too.

If people want to share pictures of their gifts so that I can show DH and spur him into action for Mother's Day here in May on FBook I'd love to see them Grin

PurplePidjin · 28/03/2017 13:46

I got tea in bed, a plant and a card. Nothing exciting enough for a Facebook post I'm afraid! Hope everyone had a peaceful day whether it was a happy or sad occasion

MrsNutella · 28/03/2017 18:05

More than DH has managed pidj Wink

I'm hoping to change his understanding of Mother's Day. I'd really like a card and some kind of gift. Ok a big box of chocs Smile
My first Mother's Day he got me nothing, because it was my birthday the week before Sad

WLmum · 28/03/2017 20:01

Grounds for some stern words nutella!

Barbeasty · 28/03/2017 21:41

That's no good Nutella

I got a bracelet and earrings which DH helped the DC choose on Amazon. He had to help them choose it on Amazon because he ignored me when I told him all the shops in town here are closed on a Sunday. When he took the DC to get something one Sunday, predictably all the shops were shut. DH was shocked.

He has got me a bunch of flowers in the past... which was lovely. But if he gets me flowers for my birthday then he won't any for Mother's Day.
I'm sure i sound quite ungrateful. I'd just quite like a little bit of fuss ConfusedBlush

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 14:56

Well I got:

Some half dead daffs that the PTA had given the dc on the Friday and dd had kept dying in her room

Two cards made at school/pre school

And a backpack which I needed and so Dh said he would pay and then tell dd he hose it buy himself to give to me because she really wanted to get me a present but he hadn't sorted anything (this was on the Saturday)

He also said dd wanted to make me breakfast in bed but he was working so didn't have time. I told him to at least pick up some croissants so she could bring one up to me in bed. He got some reduced to 10p (he was excited to tell me this).

Hmm
MrsNutella · 29/03/2017 15:13

Wreck that's all pretty good from your DH isn't it? I'm sure there was an incident with mouldy bread and he hadn't bought more?? Sooooo at least the weren't mouldy croissants?

I have a spot in my ear. It is sooo sore! And it is sort of itchy so I keep poking my ear and it almost makes tears well up Hmm

WreckTangled · 29/03/2017 15:20

Oh spots in the ear and up the nose are the worst!

Haha well dd wanted him to make me pancakes!

WLmum · 29/03/2017 22:44

Goodness I did rather well then see how last years strops have paid off.
I got a lay in and breakfast in bed - dds love a special day treat breakie. Cards and school/brownies made things, chocs, wine and a book!

WLmum · 31/03/2017 23:35

I am awake! Cheeky dd1 is very excited about April fools day - daddy's work coffee has salt instead of sugar!

MrsNutella · 02/04/2017 13:06

WL how did April fools day go down then? I would be steaming if someone mucked about with my coffee Blush
Other stuff, cling film on the toilet. Newspaper over the bedroom door. That sort of thing is not an issue, but don't touch my food!

We have had lovely weather this weekend. The garden has been mowed and tidy, it looks Sumer ready!

WreckTangled · 02/04/2017 13:16

Me too Nutella! I have mine black with no sugar though...

We're off to NZ later Smile

PurplePidjin · 02/04/2017 17:37

Wow Wreck enjoy!

MrsNutella · 02/04/2017 18:06

Oooohhhhh have an awesome time wreck! Haven't you got family there?

WLmum · 02/04/2017 19:35

Wowzas tangled! Have an amazing time!
I quietly warned DH and as he was out to work before any of us were up he just had to act a bit later!

Barbeasty · 02/04/2017 20:20

WL I remember a story of my brothers doing something similar and swapping the salt and sugar over, but in a bed & breakfast on Dartmoor. They told my parents after they'd checked out!

Very jealous Wreck
