BigHotMama · 15/01/2007 17:32

Ah nevermind Booby..I'm sure it will happen soon, anyway i didnt think you could get pg whilst still bf? Have you had a period yet?
Not sure what to suggest on your question about money making either? I'm skint too! Your a hairdresser right? Couldnt you do some mobile work at home? Ever thought about cleaning a friends place for few hours? My mate does it and my mom and they both earn £30 for 2 hours, not bad? I cant keep my own bloody house clean let alone do someones elses lol

I still havent had a period and Jackson is now 22 weeks

Hey welcome back Yellow, good to see you back on here. Hope Ellis reflux is getting better?

My cousin had a little baby girl on Sunday and she has named her Indie Skye which i think is lovely, very different. I'm, going to munch her tomorrow..so will be getting all broody like Booby.

Hows everyone else and their lo's doing?

BigHotMama · 15/01/2007 17:39

Oh forgot to say well done to Caleb on cutting his first tooth

dressedupnowheretogo · 15/01/2007 18:36

lol bhm you always make me smile

not into mobile hairderssing it sucks !!

ask pink if you can pregnant whilst breast feeding

and cj is 24 weks and ive never had a period yet

olivo · 15/01/2007 19:04

hello everyone. really p**ed off as dropped my laptop on the floor last night - tis knackered and there is a big dent in our lovely wooden floor . so that's more money that i'll have to fork out before i go back to work ..and also, hadnt backed up all my work documents so have lost a lot of work too

booby -sorry you didnt get the result you wanted.
PT - congratulations on caleb's first tooth

dd has suddenly grasped the whole rolling over thing and can now do it without getting stuck so she is regularly to be found rolling off her play mat onto the wooden floor and lying in a pool of her own vomit - attractive!! she makes so little fuss when she is sick but her reflux seems to be getting worse again. back to the gaviscon i think

hope everyone else is ok.

nwgreenmum · 15/01/2007 21:39

Olivo, You might be able to get the documents off the hard disc still even if the rest of the computer isn't working?

PinkTulips · 15/01/2007 22:04

booby. got caught out on that one alright, lol

well the landlord is coming tomorrow to 'discuss' the 2 grand we owe him fabulous! no idea how we're going to get the money...

poor holly still being sick olivo.... hopefully once she's a bit older and on solids it might ease a bit like it did for my dd. try not to worry too much, i think the throwing up all the time affected me alot more than her tbh. sorry bout the laptopgetting broken... such a balls when these things happen... hope you can retrieve the files you need

PinkTulips · 16/01/2007 13:29

well.... just sold the shares my opa got me as a kid as a trust fund so we can pay the rent. bloody oil too, they would have been worth a fortune in a few years! had to endure my dads disapproving sighs for 1/2 an hour on the phone.... ffs, it's my money and i have to beg for it like a child to avoid his grandkids being evicted! and he's 'not going to tell your mother as she'll be mad'.......wtf? it's got feck all to do with her! and thats the last penny i can possibly get my hands on short of loan sharks and it's only half what we owe.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 16/01/2007 14:43

Oh god Pinky. You ok? Have you thought of maybe doing a bit of selling on ebay for extra cash? I sold my maternity stuff on there and made £100 which came in mega handy. I keep meaning to trawl the charity shops to pick up nice bits to sell.

Olivo, I find Ellis's reflux comes and goes. Since his broncilits had gone, he stopped vomiting but he's started up again now. How is Holly on a night? I have been looking at some wedges for ellis's cot to help him sleep. He seems really uncomfortable and struggles when I lay him down but the minute I put in propped up in our bed he goes straight to sleep. If you want anymore info let me know cos I've found a few places that sell them.

Well today I tried ellis with banana mixed with milk and he loved it. Didnt eat it all but he didnt puke and seemed to enjoy it. He's also had a suck on a rusk but wasnt entirley sure what to do with it lol. I'll try it again tomorrow and see if he still likes it.
He's also rolling over properly now and getting back again but if he stays on his tummy he gets really cross.
It our 3rd wedding anniversary tomorrow so I'm being treated to a nice Italian followed by Daniel Craig for dessert .

PinkTulips · 16/01/2007 15:17

selling some baby bits calebs grown out of.... can't do ebay though as have no dig camera. will have to use buy and sell on the irish site i use.

well done ellis on the banana! hopefully thats a sign he's growing out of the reflux a bit.

olivo · 16/01/2007 16:15

afternoon - have snuck onto dh's computer while he's at work...
thank god dh is in IT is all i can say, he's managed to get all my data from my hard drive so that is saved but the pc itself isnt healthy. was most worried about my work though, years and years of teaching resources and photos on it. phew!

holly's reflux isnt bad at night, it seems to be the daytimes which are the problem, probably because she never keeps still unless she's asleep! have had her weighed today and she has put on 13lbs in two weeks so weight ggain is at least not an issue. have put her back on a bit of gaviscon which seems to have helped.fingers crossed...

discussed weaning with hv today but she agress its probably better to concentrate on getting dd from breast to bottle first before food as she doesnt seem interested. so i'm going to swap a bf for a ff, one feed every 5 days, till she is totally on bottles. will have to be so much more organised

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/01/2007 16:24
