Nice to see you back Lockets
Is this seperation thing quite normal at this age then?
I never had it with dd but Ellis has it majorly.

PinkTulips · 26/01/2007 20:29

lockets.... nice to see you back again.

Caleb is getting very clingy too so it must be the age..... dd was always clingy so i never noticed it with her but he's definitely getting worse recently

BigHotMama · 27/01/2007 10:56

Hi all, Jackson is getting clingier by the day too must be a 'boy thing'? Or maybe they are more aware when we leave them for few minutes?

Jackson took his first few steps in his walker today it was funny as he was all tensed up on his tip toes bless!

Sarahlou you sound like me on the nappies front, I got a bambino mios but only tried them once and he weed through them so went back to old convenient huggies, dont think I have the patience tbh! Am keeping them for next baby (yeah right!).

Hi Lockets, glad to see ya back! How great that your Kitty is sitting. Cant wait for Jacksn to do it.

Hope evryone else and their lo's are doing good x

purpleturtle · 27/01/2007 17:54

Our babies seem to be doing really weird things with teeth. One of you has got a baby with incisors coming through first, haven't you - can't remember who though. Ellis has one at the back of his mouth, and now my mum has pointed out today that ds2 has cut a tooth - perhaps an incisor? bottom, just right of centre.

Explains the last couple of interrupted nights!

purpleturtle · 27/01/2007 17:56

Oh, and ds2 is sitting, just about. At least, I thought he was; today he's been in disposables, because I forgot to put the wahsing machine on last night and he hasn't been able to balance at all today. Has been rolling all over the floor though

NbgsYellowFeathers · 27/01/2007 18:53

PT, its just my ds thats weird because its him that has the tooth at the back and the incisors lol
I think his top right incisor will be out in the next few days as its sticking out so much. Hes been very very crotchety today and his bums a bit red so they must really be annoying him.

I'm a bit teed off cos I keep feeling sick. Have had it for a few days now, just constant sickness. I think I'm going to go to the Dr's and sort it out. Just hope it isnt baby number 3!

lunavix · 27/01/2007 19:50

Hi everyone... having a big sort out atm. Need to clear some clutter and I'm having to tell myself that there's no point keeping ALL my much loved baby stuff even the stuff I didn't use with ds and probably won't with dd (like a hipseat!)

Clearing dd's newborn cloth nappies, and tons of other stuff too, and freecycling a ton too. I feel very green!

Has anyone on here got any good baking recipes to share? I want to start making all homemade biscuits and cakes and not buy any, but I have a few recipes that are okay but not perfect. Just want as close to normal ones as possible iyswim? I love Mars's lemon drizzle, and the choc mountains.. but need more 'normal' ones!

Oh and I've noticed today I think dd is starting the seperation anxiety - she cries when I leave the room. It's so odd, as ds never did!

PinkTulips · 27/01/2007 20:58

Feathers... i so knew it would be you or mel.. lol.... bet you are too, you've been complaining about being sick for ages now!

NbgsYellowFeathers · 27/01/2007 21:04

I BETTER NOT BE BLOODY PG. Really really really really do not want to be pg again or have another child for that matter.
Gonna buy a test so I csan rule it out asap. Am pooing myself at the thought of it.

PinkTulips · 27/01/2007 21:05

rofl... sorry, can't stop grinning at the thought of you face if you are

you on msn now?

lunavix · 27/01/2007 22:30

I feel so left out!

I want to chat to you all on msn as I'm on the pc tons more now but I can't get it to work since we re-whatsited the pc. ARGH

DH and I did the naughty stuff last week and out of sheer laziness neither of us could be bother going upstairs... I'm SO paranoid that I could be pg again but keeping fingers crossed as haven't had AF yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm fairly sure I'd like more babies, but the 2.4 year age gap between ds and dd nearly killed me, I don't think I could cope with 14 months!

PinkTulips · 27/01/2007 22:39

luna... ask eeny and sal how they got msn back on their pc... they were having trouble too but got it to work.

14 months would be tough... dd wasn't even walking by 14 months... i would have been carrying both!

i keep deciding i don't want more kids and sobbing at the thought of never cuddling my own little newborn again and then changing my mind and saying we'll hae another when they're older!

stumpydoglooksforwardtospring · 27/01/2007 22:41

just thought i'd say hello. ds has had teething pain and had been up most of the night but back to normal again last night. he's rolling about all over the place now. i'll have to get socket covers and stair gates, etc, fixed up again. today has been my ds1's 14th birthday celebrations. he had 9 friends to the cinema, followed by x box games and takeawy pizza at his dad's flat. luckily they are all v well behaved
good luck everyone going back to work. when i had my last dd i managed to work 3 evenings a week and sunday mornings so my dh could look after her, and didn't have to go back til she was 6 months, but it's v expensive living in jersey. can't think of anything else to say - i'm in a v boring mood atm

dressedupnowheretogo · 27/01/2007 23:09

PinkTulips · 28/01/2007 10:28

PinkTulips · 28/01/2007 14:01

purpleturtle · 28/01/2007 15:33

I've just organised myself this account
purpleturtle3 [at] hotmail [dot] co [dot] uk

Have no idea how often I'm going to get on there, and plan to add lunavix when I get chance. Which isn't now cos dd and ds1 are desperate to make biscuits, and ds2 has woken up, too!
