May 2015: Still early but babies already arriving!

Hi ladies, here is a thread to get us started. The support of other 'Maysters' has been so valuable, would hate to miss out on this once babies arrive. I have a feeling we are still going to have lots of questions and experiences to share!

Emelia's got her jabs on Wednesday. Am dreading it!!

apple Mabel has hers Thursday but if she is still poorly they won't do them! Nellie was fine with jabs and still is, needles don't bother her at all am hoping Mabel will be the same! Hope Emelia is ok...

She cries and I cried... All done now though, she's currently sleeping on me

apple I cried when Angus had his too. He gave me the most terrible look, like he'd just discovered that there are bad things in the world and that I was supposed to protect him and I'd failed.

Oooh no bazza that's not a good look, bless you, it's horrible isn't it. I gave her calpol tonight as she was so grizzly, hasn't affected her need to feed every two hours that she reverted back to a few days ago :(

He actually coped pretty well, didn't seem too bothered. Next lot in ten days or so, eeek!

Thomas has got his on Tuesday, he was fine last time, but we did have a wait in the waiting room for my appointment too. so may be different this time around. xx

How did Mabel get on Chook? Emelia wasn't a happy baby for a couple of days but is fine now, hoping that as the next lot are boosters it won't be as bad!

Got the inlaws arriving on Thursday for three weeks, first grandchild and first time meeting her.

Mabel was fine thanks apple she slept for 11 hours that night tho so she had some effects! She was a bit grumpy yesterday tho so not sure if the after effects took a little while to show themselves!

Hope you enjoy having the In laws down! Have a nice rest and let nanny do the Lion share of baby work!

Thomas was fine thanks. a bit clingy yesterday, but back to normal self today.

Hey feeling we are good thanks.. She is teething not though so have had a few stressful days but think the worst has now passed thank god! Have booked her next lot of injections for 1/9 so that's out of the way too!

How's Thomas getting on? How you doing?

ooh that's early Chook, poor Mabel! Glad she's feeling better.

Emelia has her second lot of jabs next week... Inlaws are here until the day of the jabs. so they will either have their last day with a very sleepy or very grouchy baby. It's been nice having DH off for the last ten days, he has realised that every day is different and that it's difficult to stick to plans all of the time. Plus think he sees how much I do to feed her, entertain her, ensure she has naps etc, cause paternity leave doesn't do that as he couldn't do as much then.

Yes Nellie was the same too apple started at 8weeks and the tooth came through finally at 12weeks... So think Mabel will be the same!!

Hope the next lot of jabs go ok, and it's good that your DH has seen how much you do, I'm sure a lot of men think raising a baby is easy

Am not looking forward to the teething, must be so miserable for them.

I don't remember my first child being too bothered by teething, She seems a bit more settled today thankfully.
