Grin Grin Grin I Love it. I am also a little bit in love with the brummy accent.

As long as its not Peppa Pig i am happy. I can honestly hand on heart say i have a deep routed hate for the selfish bossy little pig. She makes me glad i like eating baconShock

I like peppa it's funny at least. Ben and Holly is even better though.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 06:13

I love Ben and holly! Ds does too along with bloody Peppa pig, Dora, Sophia, doc mcstuffins, Mickey Mouse clubhouse and paw patrol. He's quite the TV addict Blush

DeladionInch · 29/04/2015 14:11

R usually watches beebies or assorted DVDs. The Thomas thing is a sudden massive obsession and nothing else will do!

WLmum · 29/04/2015 17:32

Mine all like the magic key - it's weird as it's a DVD series of the reading books they start learning with at school (biff, chip and kipper) so it's a bit educational too. I picked up the DVDs in a charity shop about 4 years ago and they still like it.
Dm has been given the go ahead to start partial weight bearing - hooray!

SpottyTeacakes · 29/04/2015 17:37

I didn't know they had DVDs WL? Dd isn't onto the magic key bit yet not sure when that starts? She got her first lot of spellings today but they're ones she already knows. Dreading next year as I'm sure it's going to get much more difficult.

We're off to Disneyland Friday. So excited Grin

Considering Ds couldn't speak 6 months ago I'm now fed up of hearing 'me hungry, something else eat mummy' Hmm

WLmum · 29/04/2015 21:53

spotty not all schools follow the same reading programme, but biff, chip and kipper are from the oxford reading tree. I'm amazed that she's got spellings in reception!

SpottyTeacakes · 30/04/2015 05:48

She's following the Oxford reading tree with biff chip and kipper but they haven't found the key yet?! Not sure when those ones start.

MrsNutella · 30/04/2015 09:53

Spotty have a fantastic time at Disneyland! Just in case it affects you Friday will be a bank holiday in France - always on the 1st May. Not as super convenient as always making it a Monday like in the UK.

How long are you there for? I'd love to be able to do something like that with the DC.

SpottyTeacakes · 30/04/2015 09:57

Oh that's interesting Nutella I didn't know that. We probably won't get to the park until almost lunch time on the Friday anyway so will be taking it easy that day. We're leaving late Sunday evening so just a flying visit as it's £££££. Looks like it's going to rain all weekend!

halestone · 30/04/2015 11:03

Spotty, i hope you all have an amazing time. Wow it will be one of those holidays you remember forever.

I've just had a big unreasonable sweary moan at DH, all made so much the better by doing in front if my mother. Grrrrr.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 01/05/2015 00:11

Oh WL sometimes something's got to give. Hope you're in bed sleeping Thanks

Have fun Spotty.

I've just been to watch the avengers (very late for a school night), it was awesome!

WLmum · 01/05/2015 00:54

Thanks frazzled I was but poor T just had me up to change a stinky nappy - she and dd2 have got mild upset tummies, so now I'm awake.
I was ranty about dd1&2s upcoming bday parties. Wasn't really his fault but it's all rather stressful!
Glad movie was good. I love the cinema - it's ridiculously expensive here but a nice treat.

SpottyTeacakes · 01/05/2015 01:08

I've hardly slept and we have to be up soon. Apparently the a3 is supposed to be closed but RAC and BBC news aren't showing anything. Google maps showing delays but not closure argh.

WL I'm sure your mum thought nothing of it hopefully you'll all feel calmer in the morning.

SpottyTeacakes · 01/05/2015 01:18

Right it's definitely closed. What a nightmare. We should be able to go round it but our friends are travelling from twenty miles south of us so it's going to be much more difficult for them.

MrsNutella · 01/05/2015 13:16

I hope your journey is going/went smoothly Spotty! Have a lovely time!

It's May Day here today and we took DS to see some old tractors (local old tractor club). For lunch he had some sausage, chips, cake (ok, about three bites) and ice cream. Very healthy. Wink
Very happy boy! Grin

WLmum · 01/05/2015 14:05

Have a wonderful time spotty! Hope the journey was ok in the end.

halestone · 01/05/2015 15:52

Have a fab time Spotty.

Nutella, that sounds lovely.

WL, i hope your ok today. Its horrible whilst your doing it but sometimes you just need yo unload a huge moan, it makes you feel much more human when its over. Thanks

SpottyTeacakes · 01/05/2015 18:57

Nutella Ds would love that.

Went ok in the end thanks Smile I slept 9-11 last night and have been on the go since. Just sitting in with Ds whilst he falls asleep (he's in a double bed will be sharing with us). We are all exhausted and the weather is putting a bit of a dampener on things Sad

WLmum · 01/05/2015 21:59

Thanks hales I did apologise to him and tell him that I knew I was being a rat bag and that it wasn't his fault but he was the only one I could shout out so tough!

halestone · 02/05/2015 22:54

Brew Brew Brew Brew Brew

at in laws. no spare nappy. guess who just had to hand wash in the bathroom sink

last time I tried him in a sposie he howled. he refuses to sleep, without the upset just chatting to himself, in pul "normal" cloth. I'm not ready to risk no nappy for sleep yet as he usually wees in it first thing in the morning. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

halestone · 03/05/2015 11:20

oh no how did it go in the end Delad?

I stayed up all night to watch the boxing and got up at 10 this morning. I am knackered and i'm pretty sure H is coming down with something, she felt like a radiator on me whilst we were asleep. And right now shes very chilled out, which is not like her. However i am not allowed to leave her side (even though Dp has told me to go back to bed for abit).
