appallingly

MrsNutella · 03/05/2015 20:07

Oh dear Confused would you like some Cake Brew and chocolate?

DS was a pain this afternoon... I might actually start a thread about it, well the result.

WLmum · 03/05/2015 21:48

nutella do tell!
'Twas dd1s bday today - big 8!

MrsNutella · 03/05/2015 21:54

Wow 8 sounds huge WL! Congratulations and happy birthday DD. 8 is very auspicious Smile.

here is my tale of DS

WLmum · 03/05/2015 22:57

nutella that's brilliant! Jazz poo hands!

8 is huge, quite surreal really! As a special treat she slept in with me last night and DH slept on the sofa - she's been on about it for ages. Next week dd2 turns 5 - she wants to sleep in with DH so I can go in her bed as I always tell her how comfy and cosy it is (bottom bunk caviness).

halestone · 03/05/2015 23:07

Nutella Grin thats brilliant.

WL, Happy 8th Birthday to Dd1Thanks

Delad, i hope tonight is going better than last night and your getting a rest. How are you feeling?

Ha Nutella! So funny!

DS is in bed with me. I accidentally pulled his curtain track down and given that I have 8ft ceilings and his window is over 3m wide, 5' 3" me was never going to wrestle that bugger back up!

DeladionInch · 04/05/2015 07:35

bed for r at 5:45 and mummy at 8 has I improved life significantly!!

MrsNutella · 04/05/2015 08:01

Good to hear that push DeladGrin I still think pidj when I see your name. Sorry!

Although I am rubbish at going to bed early Confused I wake up in the evening and only get to bed before 10 when I am dying really really ill. I envy you the long sleep!!

DeladionInch · 04/05/2015 08:17

I'm normally nearer 11 tbh. my body is in complete overload though so needs must at the moment

MrsNutella · 04/05/2015 08:55

Yup 11 is my natural bedtime Smile 10 is DH's

SpottyTeacakes · 04/05/2015 17:39

My normal bedtime is about nine Blush tonight it'll be in about an hour Grin

ddas · 04/05/2015 18:43

I know I should go to bed earlier but once kids in bed & especially if been a work day I then want me time by which time I get a second wind & don't get to bed till past 11pm. Next morning I always think-why did I not go to bed earlier, so tired!!! But the next day I do the same! I'm clearly just very silly!

DeladionInch · 04/05/2015 18:44

I've just put pizza in the oven. Having a major wedding outfit crisis so have found a pattern, now to source yarn.

halestone · 04/05/2015 21:51

How long till the wedding Delad? (i also always want to call you Pidj)

My natural bedtime has always been the early hours of the morning, even when i went to school, i would read by torch light in bed. I am not the greatest at getting to sleep, but sleep like a log when i finally get there.

halestone · 04/05/2015 21:52

I forgot to ask, Spotty, did you and the DC enjoy Disneyland?

OP posts:
WLmum · 04/05/2015 23:17

Snap ddas
delad will always be pidj to me!
I have wanted glasses all my life, and I finally have some and I love it! When I was a tiddler at school I was always desperate for them but was such a goody that I couldn't bring myself to fake the test, and have continued in the same vein forever more. But no more! I know I'll not be so pleased in the future but right now I love it!

WLmum · 04/05/2015 23:18

delad expand upon the crisis and yarn led solution please! I'm liking the sound of it so far.

SpottyTeacakes · 05/05/2015 05:34

Hales it was really good thanks ds loved seeing all the characters and giving Mickey lots of hugs! He also loved the rides Smile I've got to leave for work in thirty minutes and despite being in bed by 6 ds is stil zonked.

DeladionInch · 05/05/2015 13:11

Dress doesn't fit - size but also shape so alterations not worth it. Tried my backup outfit and the skirt and jacket are ace but the top just wasn't bridal enough. So I have 25 days to sort a new top. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/avalon-top I shall do this in a nice white silk to go over a plain sleeveless top and swishy white jersey gypsy skirt.

Plus I still have a shitload of flowers to make and arrange. And a few bits to get for the little kids activity bags. I got Lego bride and groom sets on eBay for the big kids!

halestone · 05/05/2015 14:03

I love the idea of that top over a dress, i bet it will be beautiful. Things will come together Delad and i bet you have a wonderful day.

OP posts:
DeladionInch · 05/05/2015 16:17

I hope so. as soon as my yarn arrives I shall get on it. luckily lots of friends are making me flowers!!

halestone · 05/05/2015 19:49

Spotty i forgot to say glad you all had a lovely time. And how good is that DS slept that long.Grin

WL, hows your mum doing with the partial weight bearing?

On a personal note i thought 6 was the devils number? Because now i believe that 2 is the real number! Give me strength!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/05/2015 07:26

Ds slept 6:30pm - 7am despite a two hour nap yesterday. Think we've all caught up on our sleep now!

WLmum · 06/05/2015 18:16

Beautiful topdelad
I have had a punishing hangover all day after a quick drink turning into an obscene amount of wine and a very late train. I'm out again tomorrow night but I will NOT get drunk. I have to do a presentation to the whole company on Friday morning so cannot be worse for wear!
