Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

DD missed the last day of term today. She was sick last night. She felt better so we've gone ahead with camping (a few miles from home so can abandon it easily). Then A jumped on her stomach so she was sick again. She's gone to sleep now. I hope she's better tomorrow.

MrsNutella · 17/07/2015 21:01

wl more details please!

beasty poor DD! I hope she feels better in the morning!

DD has another nasty cough. Poor thing. She just manages to shake something off and she gets a new one!

WLmum · 17/07/2015 23:52

Well it was in front of lots of school parents!! She wanted to climb a tree so I was lifting her above my head...

WLmum · 18/07/2015 00:04

Poor little anxious dd2 - she and dd1 have got friends staying over but dd2 has woken up anxious about it so after all the excitement has ended up in with me.

DeladionInch · 18/07/2015 06:53

I was also the parent of That Child yesterday although not quite as spectacularly as wl - r decided the end of the end of term picnic was the exact right time to pitch an epic screaming tantrum. Rather took the staff by surprise as they'd never seen him do it before!!

SpottyTeacakes · 18/07/2015 08:23

Poor dd2 WL hope she's ok this morning.

Ds is refusing to wear a nappy today. I can't cope I'm not ready! ????

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 18/07/2015 19:31

DS has been a horror lately too. He's trying out doing anything and everything he's asked not to.

It's getting fairly wearing TBH Hmm

WLmum · 18/07/2015 20:24

spotty you really got me thinking with your 3 year plan. We haven't got one and I want one!! I know roughly what I want to have achrived by then, but don't have a plan to make it happen.

WLmum · 18/07/2015 20:37

As We seem to be all done with nappies now, anyone interested in my reusable stash? If not, I guess I'll freecycle them. They are mother are own brand 'smart nappies' l loved them but they have been discontinued.

SpottyTeacakes · 18/07/2015 20:45

Oh don't WL you'll make me change my mind about dc3 again just for the nappies...Wink

DeladionInch · 18/07/2015 21:17

Pm me WL?

WLmum · 18/07/2015 22:16

Have done delad

DeladionInch · 18/07/2015 22:33

I've hopefully shared the Cloth Bank group to the Facebook for you

WLmum · 18/07/2015 22:35

Thank you! Is there a toddler bank?Wink

DeladionInch · 19/07/2015 07:43

Ugh I wish! That said, he sang a bit at 6 then went quiet till 7 this morning so a lot has been forgiven (after weeks of 5:30!)

Barbeasty · 19/07/2015 09:30

I'm cheating at the moment. DD and I are camping, but while DH takes her to church I've popped home to get on with some washing and am sitting in front of the TV with a coffee!

A was up until at least 1.45am!! Thankfully not at the campsite Wink I think his sleeping really does need to be sorted out....

We took DD to try out swimming lessons yesterday. When I'd phoned to arrange the trial I'd asked about getting the lessons for A on a Saturday and was told there wasn't even a space on the waiting list. I asked again yesterday when I was booking DD up and the teacher made a space for us and we jumped over the 3 people on the waiting list Shock. I do feel slightly guilty.

halestone · 19/07/2015 13:01

Can i use the toddler bank also? And if so do i have to be honest in the advert? Or can i lie so that someone might be tempted by herGrin

Beasty, i'm glad the teacher made space for A as he can be excited at the same time as his sister.

Delad, Well done to R.

Dd has finally learnt to peddle her bike! She's still not great but she's getting there. I thought she'd never be able to do it as her legs are so weak (she can't hop or skip and can't really jump) she's also getting more confident on her scooter Smile

WLmum · 19/07/2015 15:43

That's great news spotty!

beasty ime that's how public swimming lessons work - incomprehensible waiting list and then random place allocation based on right place right time. That's pretty much what happened to us and everyone I know!

Barbeasty · 19/07/2015 20:28

That's all right then. Now they're in the places are theirs forever and they'll just move up groups when they need to.

Well done to your DD Spotty. I'm thinking of getting DD a bike for Christmas, and A a balance bike (because his legs are too short to get a proper one), so we aren't anywhere near riding properly.

SpottyTeacakes · 20/07/2015 06:09

Ds loves his balance bike and goes pretty fast on it. He isn't tall enough for the saddle though so sits on the front bar Hmm

I've done my summer holiday planner, just waiting for some Velcro coins to arrive Grin

WLmum · 20/07/2015 14:17

spotty not only am I envious of your 3 year plan, I am also envious of your summer holiday planner!!

SpottyTeacakes · 20/07/2015 14:33

I'll post a picture when it's finishedGrin I'm pretty proud of it considering I couldn't find a ruler!

MrsNutella · 20/07/2015 15:04

WL I struggle to plan three days ahead let alone years!
spotty I want to see your summer planner too.

Right. I need to plan dinner Confused
