Oh dear

Frazzled ThanksBrew and lots of Cake

Delad the same! But awww R is so cute. If DS is on whinge patrol there isn't really much we can do Sad he just whines until bedtime.

Nursery are being good about not putting DS down for a sleep. He is shattered when we pick him up. But it's an improvement on him being aggressive because of being overtired. Instead he is getting a decent night's sleep. He is super cute.

DeladionInch · 19/05/2015 09:34

I have absolutely zero tolerance on whining and whinging. If he moans for it, he doesn't get it. This morning it was this DVD then that DVD then a different one to the point I couldn't get a mouthful of cereal in if I'd given in. So TV went off. Then Want Beebies on loop started up. So up he went. He's trotted off to school sports day hurrah for an extra morning off quite happily!

DeladionInch · 19/05/2015 09:35

Glad nursery are finally listening to what you both need Cake

halestone · 19/05/2015 15:21

Yay for Ds Sleeping better Nutella and the nursery helping you at last.

DeladThanks i cannot stand whining and whinging either it seems to snap my nerves.

WL, i hope you enjoy your villa, when do you go?

H has been prescribed antibiotics this morning for a red throat. Which i hadn't realised she had, i only took her to the GP to sort out her inhalers and explained that she has had a runny nose for ages.

Poor H - she must have felt rotten hales. Spain trip is late August/early sept. I've added the passport photos to fb. Haha!
frazzled I'm guessing Js not well? Vomit on the head is never good!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 19/05/2015 20:34

J has spent the afternoon in a&e after vomiting for 12 hours, burning up and his temperature wouldn't come down and he hadn't weed all day.

He's okay now. Got back at 7:30 and he's had 2 slices of toast n XP is driving him round to get him to sleep.

I'm out of it. I've been up since 3am. The second DS is in bed I'm joining him.

Hope H's antibiotics sort her out soon.

WLmum · 19/05/2015 22:48

Oh no frazzled bless him and you! Glad he's doing better. What did a&e say? It's so frightening when they're poorly like that. Hope you're both fast asleep now.

halestone · 19/05/2015 23:55

Frazzled, hope J is ok. And that you and him get some sleep tonight. There must be something in the air up our way.

Viral infection. Sore ears, raised glands, vomiting. Just to keep him hydrated and keep an eye on him.

We're up watching Alice in wonderland. Never mind, no work tomorrow.

Barbeasty · 20/05/2015 08:06

Hope you get some sleep today Frazzled and that he makes a speedy recovery.

We're on day 3 off school for tonsillitis for DD. She only needs 2 more bouts before October and we might even get a referral. And there I was thinking she might even get through a whole half term without time off for it!

Love the top Delad

halestone · 20/05/2015 14:36

Hope Dd is better soon BeastyThanks

Hope you get a sleep today Frazzled.

So H had a tantrum at the shops. You know the type were they lie on the floor screaming, and when you pick them up the scream louder and kick youAngry. I had little old women telling me 'oh that will be the red hair' and had to try and be polite whilst dodging kicks and punches. Finally got her to the car for her to keep arching her back, jump out of her chair or take one arm out as i was putting the other arm in. She went to bed as soon as she came into the house as i needed to calm down myself.

Then as if that wasn't enough, she has been a menace at home. I have lost count of how many times i have said her name. Shes been into her bedroom 3 times so far. And i have now told if i have to say something more than once to her anymore she is going to bed. This is despite me trying to do nice things with her.

I feel like a failure as a mum today.

OP posts:
DeladionInch · 20/05/2015 17:04

You're being consistent, hales. You're not a failure just because she hasn't yet learned the lesson you're trying to teach x

MrsNutella · 20/05/2015 18:51

Hales what Delad says is perfect! I could not have put it so well.
In fact. So perfect I'm going to add it to my own parenting mantra (you care. So what you're doing and how you're doing it is probably fine Wink). Thanks

DeladionInch · 20/05/2015 18:54
Blush
DeladionInch · 20/05/2015 20:04

Let the sling shopping commence, I sold the toddler my I don't use Grin

utopian99 · 20/05/2015 20:31

Lost track of everyone a bit. Work (boo) and rl (woo) taking up loads of time.

Jealous of your villa, wl - we're going for a week to Wales with pils which will be nice but I'm dying for a sunny holiday too. Most friends dates clash horribly with the dates pil chose, so hopefully we can find a jolly something for us four. vile and entitled, I know

frazzled , I hope ds is better now? Also beasty sorry for illness.

hales and delad I cant stand whinging/tantrums either. Am slightly worried I cracked down too hard over the last few months, but he sees to still like me and they're fewer now..

delad great creativity! The wedding must be soon now? Will we get photos? Grin

DeladionInch · 20/05/2015 21:03

10 days, eek!

WLmum · 20/05/2015 23:19

hales you are absolutely not a failure. Sometimes it just it what it is - a crappy day. Tomorrow will be better.
delad t minus 10! So thrilled for you.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 21/05/2015 00:17

He's better (yay) but not here (sob).

I've been on a works night out and now I'm back to an empty house feeling super deflated.

WLmum · 21/05/2015 07:07

Yay and boo indeed frazzled. I hope you got a good sleep and the time goes quickly til he's back with you.
Dd2 had a nightmare about lava at 2 and took me a good 1.5 hours to get back to sleep. Yawn.

MrsNutella · 21/05/2015 14:46

Delad 9 days now, how exciting!!

halestone · 21/05/2015 20:20

Delad oooo the countdown is on i 2nd that we would like to see Photographs please.

Frazzled and Beasty how are your little poorlys today i hope they're better.

WL, hope you get a decent sleep tonight.

We had a lovely day in Crosby today i will post some FB photos later, i managed to get one of H and the Anthony Gormley statues and cruise ship in the background. Grin If the weather is good i shall be taking H to Liverpool on Sunday Night to see the 3 cruise liners arrive and the fireworks.

OP posts:
WLmum · 21/05/2015 22:49

That's lovely hales
I'm a mardy arse tonight. I did speak nicely to the neighbour who's car alarm woke me up twice last night though.

halestone · 22/05/2015 15:38

Hope your in a better mood today WL.

H is in a very weird mood today, shes being very quiet, which is very unlike her. I took her to my nans and she asked to leave after an hour which is virtually unheard of. She also has red cheeks, hmmm shall be keeping a close eye on her i think.

OP posts:
WLmum · 22/05/2015 18:47

Hope it's nothing horrid hales
