Haha hales! Glad H is feeling a bit better and that you're getting some family time soon.

SpottyTeacakes · 16/05/2015 17:16

We're going out tonight. We never go out! My sister is baby sitting and we're off to watch Spooks at the cinema and for a burger at Five Guys. Dh is paying Wink

Ds is getting better at eating veg/salad. He's eaten a whole carrot stick and two cherry tomatoes this evening! He's always eaten loads but would only eat veg if it was disguised.

DeladionInch · 16/05/2015 17:46

how's h? awesome progress spotty enjoy your night

stinking cold for me including sickness, hoping it's mucus rather than something I ate Sad

Barbeasty · 16/05/2015 19:03

Hope He is ok.

Spotty I wanted to take DH to see Spooks for his birthday, but he wouldn't. If it's good he might get it in his stocking!

Delad hope you're much better soon.

WLmum · 16/05/2015 22:06

Awesome spotty enjoy. DH and are having a sofa date night watching taken and eating leftover crisps from dd2s party today.

SpottyTeacakes · 16/05/2015 23:19

I love taken!

Beasty it was good Smile

Barbeasty · 17/05/2015 09:26

I sent A off to church this morning tantruming about not being able to wear DD's trainers. The main reason being that DD was wearing them!!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 17/05/2015 13:27

I love the massively unreasonable tantrums at the minute (when I have the patience for it).

Last night J was paddying because he was falling asleep with exhaustion and he just kept screaming "I want to wake up! I want it to be wake up time"

Well it's not dude, it's bed time, so get to bloody sleep!

DeladionInch · 17/05/2015 18:14

r just got upset because I ate a mouthful of my dinner off my fork...

SpottyTeacakes · 17/05/2015 18:33

Ds' first night in a proper bed. So far he hasn't been out (been about five minutes)

WLmum · 17/05/2015 18:34

Haha, loving these crazy tantrums.
We are going on a family (with dm, DBS and families) at the end if the summer hols. Took the dds to get passport photos today - hilarious/stressful! T was such a monkey at dashing into the cubicle and pressing the 'take picture' button before we were ready and we got a dreadful set for her - had to have another go at the bargain price of £5 a pop.

SpottyTeacakes · 17/05/2015 18:55

I got the dc's photos done in a local camera/photo shop. It was £10 but they took it first time. Where are you going? Filling in passport forms stresses me out!

MrsNutella · 17/05/2015 20:00

It seems to be a bit of a trade off with photos and passport prices. We have a super cheap children's passport here (13€ I think. Only valid for Europe) but pay about 15€ to have the picture taken.

Can we please have a thread of passport picture in the FB group, I do love their passport pics!! I'll dig out the one we had for DD recently and post it in a bit.

DS is dropping his nap. We can get away with an hour of sleep in the afternoon and he will sleep well at night. But nursery won't wake him if he falls asleep Confused. They will not put him down for a nap if we ask them, but if he curls up in a corner or something they will leave him there to sleep.

I'm unreasonably stressed about it. My little boy is sweet and cute. When he doesn't get enough sleep he is a pain in the arse, biting, spitting and hittingConfusedHmm
It's making me sad.

SpottyTeacakes · 17/05/2015 20:10

It's a rubbish time Nutella ds is similar. No advice I'm afraid.

I've got a friend and our ds' were in scbu together he was born at 32 weeks. They're pretty sure now that he's autistic. I know she hasn't told many people. I haven't got any experience of autism and to me obviously he's just Bob (not his real name Wink). I'm not sure what my point is. He's lovely but it's such hard work for her as he hits and bites her, isn't great at sleeping and has unpredictable behaviour. I always get cheeky smiles from him though Smile

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 17/05/2015 20:23

Oh the spitting! The fucking spitting!

It makes my blood boil. Angry Angry Angry I'm raging just thinking of it.

WLmum · 17/05/2015 21:05

nutella I'll post the pics on fb. As if 3 dds vs 1 adult was not enough, the security man manning the supermarket door was insistent upon showing me pictures of his recent trip to Reykjavik on his phone!
spotty we've got a big villa in Spain. The dds are so excited! I'm almost done with the online applications - just waiting for DH to find his expired passport!
Nap wise T is the same - we've been trying to drop them for ages but are a bit stuck - sometimes she's fine, other times she just can't stay awake but each nap affects the nights sleep so she's more likely to need a nap etc.
I can't imagine how hard work it would be having a sn dc. Dd1s BFFs little brother has ADHD and I know it's been really hard on all of them but he is very cute and I do have a soft spot for him

SpottyTeacakes · 18/05/2015 06:41

Wow WL sounds fab. Every time we go away we say 'next time we're getting a villa!' It works out £££ just for us though.

Well Ds didn't get out of bed at all Shock he did fall out twice but stayed asleep both times Grin

WLmum · 18/05/2015 09:08

spotty with a big group it works out really good value per person. We would never normally be able to afford to go abroad but dm is funding some of it for us.

SpottyTeacakes · 18/05/2015 09:26

Yes I agree if there's lots of you it can be really good value. So much nicer having a pool to yourselves etc too

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 19/05/2015 04:40

There nothing quite like waking up to a cascade of vomit hitting the back of your head! Fun times.

DeladionInch · 19/05/2015 04:46

Morning fraz plain old heartburn and stuffed nose here Brew

DeladionInch · 19/05/2015 08:10

R has been on perma-whinge for an hour. Told him if he wanted to be like that he could do it in his cot. He took himself off up the stairs...
